After the two had their lovers spat and I stopped eating my VR popcorn we got down to plasteel tacks.
"Ok, the problem we're facing is rogue AIs have taken over robot foundries all over the star system and have been waging war against the organics and free standing synthetic beings...although that last part is under contention because of what the AIs are making" Ria explained.
"Android soldiers?" I asked, thinking about the whole ordeal.
"Correct" Xeriko answered, still probably not too keen on my continued existence.
"What weapons are we…" I asked before I remembered they have the digital Akashic Records.
After searching through their database thing I see a glaring discrepancy.
"THERE'S NO PROJECTILE WEAPONS?!" I shout incredulously.
"What do you mean…Projectile weapons haven't been used in a thousand years" Ria explained, genuinely confused.
"Well...the laser and ion weapons are becoming less effective because of the Robots using alloys that refract and diffuse energy…" I read from the data packet. "
"Yes but alternate means have been found-" Ria started before I cut her off.
"I don't see how a tesla surge and a paradox inducing virus is a very safe or effective way of disposing of these Robots...what do you do when they start figuring out how to shield against shock attacks?"

"I…" she starts..
"Nope, not risking more lives, seems like we need good old terran ingenuity!" I said before rolling up my metaphysical sleeves.
I then kicked open a portal and walked through it down the connection tunnel muttering to myself on the way.
"Honestly, you'd think they'd go back to basics, but nooooo" I griped as I walked.
After sometime looking through the network I found the door to a fabricator room in this bunker...base...thingy. Going in I see how the fabricator works, and boy howdy is it crazy, it stimulates growth of molecules of elements that they have on hand to grow in ways not dissimilar human cell growth.
"Let's see...huh, guess its a whole lot easier to get titanium in the future…I wonder if...oh I can!" I exclaimed giddily.
After about an hour of figuring out how it works thanks to a cryptic as hell wikihow. I get it printing a weapon I'm dubbing: The Ravager. Its a .60 caliber ten round revolver with Tungsteel Armor Piercing bullets, with a plasteel frame. It honestly was a sci-fi wet dream for me to make a weapon like this. For tits and giggles I put in light bars that synced up with Xeriko's suit. The bizarre part about all this is I also had access to Earth's internet in a similar vein as this universe's Datanet. I'm not sure how I kept that, but it’s probably the Goddess’s doing.
"Oh dope! They have computer chips!" I said smiling as I programmed the chip to sync up with the suit too for an ammo readout. "Now for the part every video game modeler dreads, making a visually interesting reticle"
I decided to make a reticle with three inward pointing arrows. Simple yet effective in being a point of reference to aim and avoid motion sickness. Maybe I could do that thing like video games where the reticle would change depending on the thing it was pointed at. I might as well add the feature wholesale, well after I finish this gun first.
After another grueling hour of laser guided technobabble that I can barely understand as is. The Ravager emerges from the Molecular Foundry’s growth soup, and whoo boy it looked beautiful even from this side of the network hub. It had all the curves and smooth edges of sci-fi tech that I loved growing up with from the pulp novels and games. The Ravager was a thing of beauty and I’m glad I had the forethought to print bullets for it, but…I wasn’t sure what I was thinking when making these.
“Why did I make them so huge?!” I shouted to no one in particular. “Its almost a…legally distinct exploding gyrojet for an oversized weapon.”
I look around before sighing in relief at the lack of lawyers coming down to beat me over the head with lawsuits. Well for what it’s worth, at least the suit has a strength enhancing system for the user. With this in mind I print a good stockpile of bullets for Xeriko and Ria. For Ria though…I see her as a shotgun gal myself. So what I made her is a matte teal double barreled shotgun with a plasteel stock, but I added this cool foam material called damp-n phoam to the end to rest her shoulder on. The frame was a smooth and sleek metal called Allusteel that was light and durable, its also a matte red and white combo. I made this really cool curly drum magazine system that will feed the rounds in and eject them down. The shells for her gun are filled with tungsten carbide flechettes. A nasty little alloy that can pierce armor especially when they are needles like what I made.
You know…I haven’t heard from the two in a while, have I been away long?
