Lucifer was standing by the window, admiring the Rosenborg Castle and the park surrounding it. He was always taken away by human ingenuity and art. Just as he was about to get bored, the door to his hotel room swung open. Gabriel stormed inside, his face flushed with repressed anger and dismay.
"Lucifer!" Gabriel bellowed, "You know you can't hide from me! No matter where you go. Who gave you permission to gather Humans? And how were you able to hide it so well from Father's eyes?"
"Hello to you too little brother, it is nice to see that you never change Gab." Lucifer sighed. "It is so hard to please father. I do this, he is mad that I didn't do that. I do that and he is mad that I overstepped my boundaries. But at least he has a beautiful, caring son who will do anything to keep his brothers and sisters in line. Isn't that right Gabriel?" He slowly turned to face him, showing a face full of burn marks. "Somehow you never visit me in Hell… Even after you made sure that I had a place to stay over there. I wish you came once in a while. To show you around. And maybe get you to stay?" He waggled what was left of his eyebrows, as slowly an illusion hid his visage, and showed a black haired young man.
"I wouldn't visit you if I had a choice, backstabber." Gabriel sneered." But you need to be taught a lesson in respect."

"Oh do I now? Well good luck with that. Hope you have some more of that holy fire of yours? Of course you do. You are always so angry Gab. Always so, so angry. And nothing fuels the holy fire of retribution better than your 'righteous' anger, doesn't it." Lucifer flippantly replies. As he turns his back towards his brother. "But before you smite this pitiful sinner back to the pits of hell he crawled out of, would you consider drinking a tea with him? You know I am used to the flames, and it would be such a shame to reduce this city to rubble, because you forgot you could hold back."
"Just say your piece and crawl back from whence you came. You lunatic!" Gabriel spat with so much venom, and hate one wouldn't guess they were brothers."
"Alright, alright, have you heard about Midgard? And the Asgardians?" Lucifer turned back to his brother and conjured an image of Asgard, besieged. Gabriel just lifted his eyebrow, plain on his face that he doesn't understand where his brother was going with this. "As you see they are in a bit of a pickle. And I promised them help, in the form of our humans, for a foothold in their pantheon for father."
"Back up a second. You are doing something for Father? You? Lucifer? Forgive me if I don't believe you."
"Forgiven." Lucifer graciously bowed to the scowling Gabriel. "Well if you don't believe me, would you care to join me? I have a meeting with the Asgardians, to finalize the finer detail. I actually wanted to meet you beforehand, to get your and father's blessing and to show that I listened to him half a millennia ago."
