7.1 Boss Fight!

Boss Monsters in AOS are Monsters that are able to transform themselves into different Stages. These Stages could range anywhere from only 2 to up to 10, which was the highest and most difficult.

Even though there was only ever one Monster that had Stage 10. The Supreme Emporer. The ultimate Boss Fight held exactly 2 years after the release of the game and approximately 1 year ago from now.

Low-Level Bosses like this one were never going above Stage 2, but after their literal first encounter with a Monster was a Boss, they didn't know what to think anymore.

The Giant let out a high pitch shriek and threw his arm, which he tied together, in the direction of the group, forcing them to split up. Itaka and Shizu jumped to the left of the Giant and Kyaga to the right.

"What the hell is going on!?" Yelled Kyaga again. "How is a Boss Monster so close to the city even possible? Isn't there something like a Safe-Zone?"

"I don't know!" Yelled Itaka, before being forced to jump together with Shizu once again to dodge another attack. "Normally these are in Dungeons or Raids. But just here next to the city!?"

The giant, who was now turning to Itaka and Shizu again, left open a big spot for Kyaga to attack, who instantly saw his chance and ran up behind him.

He was just about to yell out one of his Ability names in order to use it before he realized that this wasn't his old character. "Then with pure strength, I guess."

He jumped high up in the air, higher than he could've ever jumped in real life, landed on his shoulder, took both his hands on the handle of his sword and rammed it inside of the Giant's neck with full force.

A few rainbow-colored particles flew around, signalizing that he critically hitted, so he instantly glazed over to the left of his interface to see the damage that he dealt.

Oris the Hill Giant. Stage 2. (Lvl. 9)

HP: 607/965

"What!? That was like 90 damage! With a critical hit!? No way he's so tanky!" He yelled out confused, turning his attention away from what was happening and not paying any attention to the giant's arm, which was quickly coming for him.

"Watch out!" Yelled Shizu, causing him to turn his attention back to the fight so that he tried to dodge the arm in the last second. But it was too late. He was caught by the arm, his sword fell down to the ground and he tried to resist as much as possible by moving around, but the grip was too tight. He pressed Kyagas arms against his torso which was completely covered by the Giant's arm.

"Ahhh!" He let out a short shout caused by the pain.
