6.1 Sacrifices?

As soon as the trio left the Colosseum they noticed how much cleaner the air outside was. Standing in there with all these people, one couldn't really notice the lack of oxygen, but once they were standing outside again, they took a few deep breaths, enjoying the clean air.

"So." Said Kyaga. "We gonna start right away?" He wanted to get going as fast as possible now, after losing a bit of time to Rex and Toya.

"Yeah, I guess." Said Shizu unsure. "But what is up with finding Kanagaki now?"

"To be honest," Answered Itaka. "we shouldn't waste any more time. We couldn't find him in the obvious spots, so we should just progress now. There are about ten thousand people in this one city right now. I'm sure we will meet him at one point."

"Yeah, you are probably right." She mumbled. She was pretty worried about his well beings but could understand that there were more important things right now.

"Kanagaki is a big guy, you know?" Said Kyaga, trying to calm her a bit and throwing his arm around her neck in a friendly gesture. "He will know what's right and wrong, or rather what to do and not to do. You know him!" Kyaga had one hundred percent of his trust in Kanagaki, he knew that there was no way he would go into reckless dangers.

"Yeah, he will probably be either searching for us or trying to progress in his world knowledge, he's a smart guy!" Said Itaka before mumbling: "But not as smart as me." Under his breath before starting to obviously fake cough.

The other two looked at him questioningly but just ignored it.

"He said in front of the town, right?" Asked Kyaga to ensure himself again on where to go.

"Yup, I'd say so. There aren't that many locations where berries could be otherwise anyways, so." Answered Shizu

"Yeah, that's right as well..."

"Then let's go!" She said, now also fired up a bit for their first quest, even though it might be the most boring quest ever. But, hey. You gotta take what's available in order to progress to higher things, or not?
