When i regained consciousness i was surrounded by familiar faces .Mostly familiar faces anyway Gwen , Remiel and the turtle girl. This room was white and purple and even had my face engraved into the door, weird but ok. I was laying on her lap again and i had a feeling she enjoyed me on her as much as i enjoyed being on her. "Your awake" The first one was to greet me was Gwen, i was happy about that, knowing me i was probably out for a week. I tried to get up

"Don't-t-t get up your legs are still broken, and how is your head feeling?

Oh yeah it felt like i was always getting something broken, looking at my legs both were casted and wrapped like a mummy,

Two seconds after waking up and we were already complimenting each other i wonder what the future had to offer. The universe seemed to have a answer pretty quickly. Gwen looked me with her soft golden eyes making my heart rate increase. The air was growing tense ,so i choose to take the initiative and pull her closer.

Terrible, that hurt my pride some, i thought i was doing a good job in keeping track of everything. Now that i think about it all i was doing was writing about the things that interested me with no goal of helping them.

We didn't know that at all actually, but let assume they were. did they think that i wanted to be ordered around or give orders i valued my freedom, i only become part of this stupid council because i thought it would grant me that. My reasoning is selfish as it gets but so is theirs .I had no interest in developing a power complex either.

"Why not choose Remiel, he's closer to you"

These people didn't know me well enough yet but i wont fault them.

"Look i have no want to play king and rule over anyone .Did you forget i want to find the people who killed my sect then after that i just want to live my life as a normal person, even these powers i have i didn't ask for. That being said" i looked over at Gwen "Again why not her or better yet why not you?"

"i.. im scared of being killed , im happy to follow honestly"

now all eyes were turned to Gwen

"Ahh well you know i was helping Farron find the people who killed his clan"

What a blatant excuse never once has she said this ,ever, but i wasn't going to expose her.

The people who killed your clan could be anywhere ,in any state .Look i dont want you to dislike me after this but think about it, They could be anywhere in the cosmos light years away, or could already be dead or slaves somewhere. That was the harsh reality of this world, i knew this but i wanted to believe .I was grasping straws... no i needed to forget .Not forget their deaths but the hatred i had ,he was right in every sense of the word. The universe was far to vast for me to realistically find them, even if i 10 lifetimes searching. I needed to come to terms with that fact, that still didn't mean i wanted to be emperor of some foreign planet just that i needed a new goal.

"its fine, he's right. ahh really i don't know anymore... "

What did i even want to do, before this i was just living as a semi priest and philosopher. I was a killer now though so i couldn't claim to be them, the only thing i could think of that was slightly engrossing to me was maybe the powers of Janus? I didn't think i was special like they seemed to think ,The way Janus described it was it was basically random ,If not that then how about exploration .I wanted to see planets and different places in the galaxy, ive been stuck on this planet my whole life and i still didn't know anything about it.

"its fine we understand, we'll have to find someone else." Said Remiel

"If you're traveling there i would love to come, i want to leave this planet .If im going to be honest with you i couldn't care less about this council membership stuff"

"haha well of course you can come i mean who would even stop you. I don't know how you would work out the logistics of everything though .In our ship we have oxygen its mostly filled with water but really you need to eat and other organic things."

This was a big problem ,since we all were different races we had different standards of life, i was the most fragile. If i got some time to think about it i was certain i could make some preparations .Only gripe i had was having to leave Gwen it was an amazing last few days but i suppose it couldn't last forever. Steeling my resolve i said

"Gwen I'm sorry but I'll have to leave i want to explore the world, not just this one but lots of them. I wont live forever and-

AHHHHH right ,man i was glad to have someone so special in my life. This brought up some questions though.

"well i only had them for about 2 weeks but they usually work when I'm about to die .Like you i don't know much about it"

It takes about 3 days to go to my home planet from this one so it shouldn't take too long, anyway tootles" Myrtle said exiting with Remiel

"Uhh do you guys have a wheel chair and i still want to learn how to shoot properly for when my legs heal.
