I just want to go ahead and apologize for taking forever with this chapter. You see while I was writing this chapter I came down with two illness called  writer block and laziness but I overcame it (barley) I hope you guys enjoy this chapter.

Chapter 4 New Arrival

"This... is just... incredible." Electricity was coming out of her right arm and it travel down to her fingertips. Focusing on her left arm electricity appear and travel down to her fingers. She was in complete control of the electricity in her body it was second nature to her like she been doing it her whole life.

"Amazing isn't it? This is your power." Finally looking up from hands to Thomas who was giving her a gentle smile.

"I just don't believe that this real." Her eyes slowing fell back to her hands to confirm that electricity was coming from it.

"Well believe it, the serum was created to increase human capability the lighting power is just an unforseen bonus.

"The others that under went this surgery do they have powers like me?"

"Yea everyone has there own unique ability but none as flashy as yours. In fact why don't we go meet them after all your part of their team."

"I... don't think that such a good idea, I may have forgot to tell Johnathon about her." Thomas turn to the two girls with a slight nervous look on his face.

"How you forget to tell him she been her for a day you had plenty of time to tell him!" Sarah also had a panic look on her face.

"Who Johnathon?" Alisa curious on how a single man name can easily change the atmosphere.

"He the captain of the team your suppose  to be in he  gets the final say who join before they be operated on. And somehow Thomas forgot to tell him about you." Sarah gave Thomas a scowl.

"I know, I know"

"So what do we do?"

"I'll talk to him he'll accept her he has no choice but to.

*sigh* "You know he going to be piss right?" Sarah put her to her hand.

Thomas  normal smile return to his face. "He'll get over it."

"If your looking for Johnathon im afraid he at a conference that you should be at Thomas." A girl with a long blonde ponytail came walking into the room.  Few things stood out about her, one she had the same black attire  on which mean she a modified human just like me, second one she was kinda short  the closer she got the more obvious it was, and the third she most definitely strong.  Simply watching her she could tell that this girl was a veteran solider. And her cold blue eyes gave off the feeling that she could easily kill someone without flinching.

"Katherine? what you doing here?" Thomas completely surprise but her sudden appearance.

"I was sent to retrieve you Thomas." Katherine answer in a heavy russian accent.

"Who this girl?" Completely amaze by the girl who came in she didn't realize that Katherine was now standing next to her. Her gaze felt like she was staring through her instead of at her.

"She a..  recruit." Thomas answer

"I see, anyway the general wants to see you." After losing interest in Alisa she turn her attention back to Thomas.

"What could he want from me?"

"If you wasn't busy doing things behind are back you would know why." Katherine answer coldy "The fallen is marching towards a populate town."

"Has the town been evacuated?"

"No thats what were currently doing and the general would like have your opinion on why Fallen is acting like this."

"I see lets not waste anymore time." As the pair started to leave the room Katherine stop and look in Alisa direction.

"I think you should come to." All three left the room leaving sarah behind.

Just by simply walking Alisa could feel how strong she gotten her body felt light and strong it almost like like could jump through the roof if she wanted.  If this keep up I might grow an ego. Noticing a smile growing on her face she quickly try to get rid of it.

"I see so you had the operation done on you already."Turning to the left of her Katherine was walking next to her.

"You could tell Alisa?" Alisa had a slight blush on her face hoping Katherine didn't see her idiotic smile.

"Of course most people act like you do once they get their power."

Crap she did see Alisa face completely turn red.

"You must be special If Thomas went behind Johnathon back to operate on you, but regardless he not going to be happy when he finds out about you."

"Thomas said he simply forgot to tell him"  Even though she said that Alisa wonder how could he forget something that important.

"I doubt it, Thomas knew that Johnathon wouldn't let you join that why he went behind his back. Now he have no choice but to let you join."

"I don't understand why can't he refuse now?"

Katherine look at Alisa with a cold gaze. It felt weird even though Alisa taller than Katherine it look like Katherine was looking down at Alisa.

"I need you to use your brain for a little.  If Johnathon refuse to let you join what do you think going to happen to you?"

"I guess I go back to training camp."

"Wrong. Do you really think the government would let someone as powerful as you walk around free? No,You would be a stuck here a prisoner til they decide your fate.

Realizing the situation Alisa turn to Thomas who was walking ahead of them. She couldn't see his face but he most obviously still have that smile on his face knowing what he done.

"You understand now?" Katherine look up at Alisa with her usual expressionless. "You have two choices now fight on the frontline and die, or be in prison here and die.
