{Day 7 - part 2}
{The battle continues}
So many questions flooded through my mind in the midst of battle. It was at this point I remembered that this wasn't a video game. This was my reality now so I had to make my own calls, and whatever they happened to be whether I lived or died because of them it would be my sole responsibility. No blaming anyone else. On this day, I finally realised that the choices I made now would have a great impact on how my future panned out.
Today I made the wrong assessment. I shouldn't have attacked these hulk caterpillars without assessing the dad's strength. It was foolish of me. Next time, if my body was giving me signals to run away, I would be more cautious and at least properly assess my situation before jumping into combat.
Right now, right at this moment I could run away. However, I knew that if I ran away right now that this event would haunt me and leave a scar which would become difficult to remove. If I ran away now, maybe I could get away but my confidence in facing stronger monsters would disappear, which would defeat the whole purpose of my actions.
Furthermore, even if I did manage to get away this thing would probably chase me down to the ends of the universe, until it found out I was deadโฆI'm sure of it.
After having these split-second thoughts, my mind returned to the battle in front of me.
"Damn this bastard is absurdly strong!"
How to beat it? How to beat it, surely there must be a method.
I once again set my eyes on the opponent in front of me. Ever since I had angered it, its whole body had turned jet black. This was probably what was giving it the needed extra strength and tankyness. Whilst this tough skin layer was still present none of my attacks would be able to penetrate it.
It was at this exact moment that I noticed something. Why didn't I notice this before?
Although all of its body was protected, there was one area that wasn't and that was the hulks eyes. If I could manage to land a hit with all my strength and hit that thing in the eyes, where it really hurt then just maybe... just maybe I would be able to beat it.
With my new plan set in motion I began to implement it. If this didn't work, I would die no two ways about it. First things first I had to get this thing to stay still otherwise my attack would have odds of missing.
Just now the behemoth had just managed to plunge its body from the broken tree rubble. Still enraged it gave me another death stare.
I have to get its head stuck in a tree. A tree large enough so it wonโt topple over but will act as a vice stopping the hulk from moving. The hulk will probably be more careful this time around. Guess I need to amp it up with more aggro. After thinking what to do, I proceeded to taunt my opponent. Now that I knew the language of Bu I actually had control over what I was saying.
"Bu Buduli Buri Buri Bizao!"
--- translation "Suck your mother you fat bug brain!"
After hearing this, the hulk daddy began to lose its shits once again, it looked crazy like a dog with rabies.
Yes, yes come on keep this up. More anger, more anger needed. Seeing that I just need to push it a tad bit more over the edge, I moved myself in front of a large oak tree and started wiggling my cicada ass.
After doing that, it finally lost its final straw and came rampaging at me with double the velocity as last time. It was like I was a bullfighter with a red mulleta shaking it in the hulks face. As it quickly approached me, I carefully twisted my body in an attempt to avoid the attack graciously. This time I had been expecting its quick pace and speed but even still I managed to just barely avoid it.
Dirt scattered across the air, as part of the ground became dislodged due to the sheer force of the attack. The hulk daddy like a broken locomotive headed straight towards the large oak tree.
* OOMPH! *
The tree shuddered for a few moments, it's body swaying side to side as if it were dancing.
Phew, the hulk daddy's head was finally stuck in the tree.
Good, the relatively easy bit is complete the rest I l have to leave to mother luck. Oh, wait luck isn't on my side either!
At most this hideous creature would be in this state for around a minute, I had to move my plan into action ASAP. Quickly, as not to waste any time, I proceeded to fly to the other side of the tree.
Ugh looking at its face up close it was really ugly!
I positioned myself about two metres above ground in alignment with its eyes.
"It's now or never!"
After aligning myself I proceeded to activate all of my useful abilities.
"weak poison bite, poison stab, bull strength, flame body!"

At full propulsion I nosedived headfirst towards the hulk daddy.

For the first time in his life, the leader of the Caterbug Clan felt fear. Fear that he had never felt before in his life, today his body was trembling. Every nerve in his body twitched and his limbs became as heavy as rocks. Why may you ask? Well simply putting it he just didn't know; he didn't know whether he was going to survive this attack or not.
His body was screaming to run, screaming to escape but he couldn't. He was stuck.
Why? Why? Why?
Buffrey just didn't understand.
How did this happen? What lead to this? So many questions rushed through Buffrey's head.
The last time he checked the odds were stacking in his favour, so when did this change!
That creature, it was just an ordinary cicada nothing special and yet it posed such a danger to him, how, how was this possible? Was he going to lose, him the great Buffrey, the Caterbug Clan leader?
It all happened so randomly. He was just enjoying some quality time with his son and daughter when they had suddenly been attacked by a black and pink cicada.
How dare such a lowly insect dare to kill his children he thought at that time with burning red rage. His two beautiful beloved children, ones that he cherished so much had disappeared. They were gone forever.
During that point of time Buffrey was angry. He had already decided that he was going to kill the cicada but depending on its answer for his reasons to killing his children, it could be either be a clean or a brutal death. At least that was what he thought.
Then out of nowhere the cicada responded with a vile serpentine curse, which only further infuriated him. Such rude and obscure words, he had never heard them being muttered in his presence before.
Whilst looking back at the events Buffrey suddenly received an epiphany. The taunting the shaking of the ass, everything it was all according to this little cicada's plan. Everything had been planned from the beginning.
"Bu Buzu Brulu!", Buffrey exclaimed in a terrified voice.

The moment he set eyes on his opponent; he had already lost.
What a terrifying being. To formulate such a brilliant plan, its intellect must have be of the map, Buffrey thought to himself.
The more he thought about it, the more frightening it became. If this cicada were left unchecked, it would become a great danger to the Eldgar Forest.
Every second that Buffrey used to think the impending doom of the attack came closer.
At this stage it was just mere moments away from hitting him. At this point he knew; he was as good as dead.
Today Buffrey picked a fight against the wrong opponent.
Uttering his final words, he lamented on his caterpillar life, as the projectile missile cicada headed towards him.
"Buzu Buru Bilali!"

As I was heading right into the hulk daddy, I heard it muttering something.
I wonder what it could be saying in such a predicament.
Eh who cares I'll ask system to tell me if I come out alive.
Soon my burning body came into contact with the eye of the caterpillar giant.
I closed my eyes.
* Thud! *
My body crashed right into the caterpillar.
At first, I thought that I had merely collided with it and a look of fear descended upon my face, however I soon realised I was moving through something like I was swimming.
I quickly opened my eyes.
"Eww!", I shouted out load.
Right now, as of this moment I was inside the body of the hulk daddy. It seemed like Iโd penetrated through its eye canal and started travelling through its mushy purple insides as I burned everything in my path.
"Eww when can I get out of here!"
My wish was granted sooner than I thought, as a mere 30 seconds later I came out of the other side of the caterpillar.
"Hugh, hugh, hugh!", I panted my body clearly worn out from that attack.
I couldn't move right now; my stamina was zero. My muscles had tired out. My body hurt from the usage of all those skills simultaneously. If this didn't kill this monster I was done for.
It was while waiting in anticipation that I heard the much-awaited ding sound.

Donโt get me wrong, I was really excited for the evolution and all my other gains but right now was not the right time and place to check them out. Even though my stamina bar was full again, I was mentally exhausted. Additionally, it wasn't safe here.

"Wait I can use Void Eater on this. That means that the hulk daddy caterpillar had a name. Wonder what it was? Anyway, that explains why it was so strong".

After laying on the floor for five minutes, I finally got up. Today I did it! I defeated an opponent who was much stronger than me!
I was so elated that I proceeded to do my happy dance for a while before calming down. Once I finished dancing and had calmed down, I cut a sizeable amount of the hulk daddy corpse and carried it with me back home. I wanted to take all of it, but I simply didn't have the strength since I had already used bull strength, the skill you can only use once per day, so I had to carry everything home with my own strength.
On my way back something piqued my interest.
"Hey system, during its final moments what did that hulk caterpillar say to me"
[It said some across the lines of, "May God punish you with extremely bad luck!"]
"Hey that wasn't very nice!", I retorted before remembering that I said way worse things to it as well as burned its family members into ash.
Well my bad.
Wait for some reason I've got a bad feeling.
