"Hey Philip, someone's trying to enter this mountain. "

[First Person- Miyu]

What: A tournament

Where: Floravelle Main Arena

When: 10th day, next month

"The winner will be rewarded 1000 gold coins"

A tag team tournament huh?

Even so, I don't have anyone who can partner with me.

The tournament's next month. You still have plenty of time.

[First Person- Mia]

It's been an hour since me and Audely attempted to destroy Shereva mountain's protective shield.

*Boom!

"This barrier's pretty tough!"

"Don't give up Mia. Just keep trying."

I looked at Audely furiously. "This is useless. We need to think a strategy."

Audely sat on the ground. "You're right... Ugh. I'm exhausted! At this rate, even if we successfully entered this mountain, even  class D monsters living inside would surely pose a problem."

I pinched his ear. "Stop slacking off! Don't you dare give up!"

Audely grasp my hand. "Please stop it! It hurts!!!"

I slapped him. "Guess I'll just summon Flare to ask."

"Come Forth, Flare!"

This time, it came out from a magic circle. 

"You summoned me again."

"Whoah. You emerge differently this time."

"Who cares about that? More importantly, why summon me?"

"I'm sorry. Do you know how to break this one obstinate of a barrier?"I asked.

"It's been an hour since we started. We're concentrating our attack on one small area but nothing's seems to be progressing." Audely sighed. "Please help us Flare..."

"Something's wrong. I can't sense any energy emanating from it. It seems like..."

Audely scratched his eyes. "Like what?"

"Illusion."

Flare emits flames all over.

I turn around and got astonished. "What in the world is this?"

What have we done? The part of the mountain in front of us is ruined. Some animals are dead and wounded. 

"It seems like we've been tricked Mia" said Audely while scratching his head.

I furiously shouted. "Ugh! Who did this?!"

"The two of you of course."

"Ugh! I mean the illusion barrier!"

"The one who's living in this mountain."

"...the white raven and his vessel!" I exclaimed.

"Stop it Mia. Outraging yourself won't help a thing..." said Audely then he approached Flare. "Thanks Flare. We'll take it from here."

"I'll be going. Farewell.

Audely held my hands. "Calm down Mia. Don't lose your cool. There's still so many illusions AKA traps out there. We need to figure it out one by one. One more thing, we don't have any idea from where it's coming. We might even kill ourselves without even being aware of it."

"I have an idea. Come forth Flare."

"What is it? Again."

"Can you burn this whole mountain?"

Audely complained. "Burn this whole mountain?! You serious?!"

"Nope. I mean burn this mountain using the flames Flare just used a little while ago."

"Is that so. Quiet a clever idea you've got there. I'll delightfully gratify your demand."

For a moment, Mt. Shereva has been enveloped by Flare's flames.

"That should do it. Any other request?"

"None. Thanks Flare."

"Your welcome. I'll be going. Bye."

"Bye bye!"

Audely seems to be amazed. "That was awesome. Seems like the rumor about class A monsters lurking around here isn't true. Everything is just an illusion. This is just an ordinary mountain."

"See? I'm good right?"

"Okay. Okay. I'll give you a compliment just this once. Let's go find the white raven before it gets dark."

"Yes!"

Audely opened the map. We're currently on our way into the destination that the map's telling. While travelling, I'll tell you what happened when we arrived back at snow village.

It's already nighttime when we arrived in snow village.

Knock! knock! knock!

"Who's that?"

"It's me Mia."

Footsteps rushed towards the door.

"Thank goodness Mia, Audely. You're back!'

I hugged mom tightly. " I missed you so much."

Dad also came out. It tapped Audely's shoulder. "Welcome back my son and daughter!" he said boisterously.

Audely pointed himself. "Me? Your son? Oh! That means Mia is my big sister!"

"How rude! I'm just 17 years old!"

"I'm 17 too."

"Then why call me big sister?!"

Audely held his tummy. "I'm starving."

Father laughed." Let's go inside and eat something! "

Audely smiled. "OkyU."

Then they they entered inside the house. 

"Hey Audely! Now that you know that we're in the same age, STOP CALLING ME BIG SISTER!"

Mom cling her index finger to my lips. "Stop shouting like that. It's so unladylike."

I smiled gently."Okay" I retorted.

"Shall we follow them?"she asked.

I held her hands. "Yes!"

While eating, I told them everything that happened. Including our plan to go into Mt Shereva.

"Who are we to stop you? Where not your real parents in the first place" said mom.

I felt sad and made an expression out of it.

Dad laughed as he usually do but deep inside, I know that he's feeling down. "Don't misunderstood her Mia. You're both young. Strive for adventures! HAHAHAHAHA!"

Mom nodded. "He's right. You should do what's your heart's telling you."

I hugged mom and dad. "Thank you very much."

"So, what are you planning after you got what you want in that mountain?"asked mom.

Dad threw a guffaw. "I think you should explore the world. You're both seeking for answers right? You might find it somewhere out there!"

Audely yawned. "You're right. Staying in one place won't take us anywhere."

Mom smiled gently. "You're a chosen one right Mia? You should use that power to save people. Don't worry about us. This village is safe."

Slowly, my tears started to fall. I mewled afterwards.

Mom wiped my teary eyes. 

Audely stood up and yawned. "I feel like I don't belong in this moment. I'll go to bed. Good night." He climbed in the stairs and went to his room.

Geez. That idiot.

"I agree with your mom." Dad went near the cabinet and tied to get something there then he went next to me. " Take this with you. It's my favorite gun. I'm using it to hunt monsters when I was your age."

"It has some flashy and girlish designs. Is that really your favorite dad?"

"Yeah! Of course! It's the very first gift that I got from your mom after all."

Mom chuckled.

Dad laughed.

That moment was the happiest that I ever experienced. I felt like they were my real parents. I also remembered my grandma. I already missed my Granny so much. It's been a year since I last saw her.

After eating, we slept together in my parent's room. In the morning, after breakfast, we departed together with the luggage that mom and dad prepared for us. I gave them both a tight hug and promised that I will come back. Dad told Audely something but didn't let me and mom knew. Maybe it's something like a boy talk. I also left a letter for Mr Faure and Mr Wilson. 

And so, after several days, we ended up here in mount Shereva. While on the way, Audely taught me some magic spells. I also learned new skills.

"We're here Mia."

"Whoah. It's like a huge castle."

"Let's take a look inside" suggested Audely.

We went inside and Oh my gash. There's so many books!

Audely held and shook my hands. "Mia, is that a boy slouching in the air?"

I turned around and saw someone floating and staring at the book he's holding. "Excuse me! What is this place?"

It rotated and looked at me while the book he's holding disappeared. "Hello there. Welcome to my library. My name is Philip Le  Roux. This bird's name is Aquila."

Oh. It's a boy who has a pair of black eyes and brown hair. A white little bird is next to him. "My name is Mia Adeline Phoebe Aigner.  Nice to meet you too."

"I'm Audely. Nice to meet you Mr Philip."

"Mia, Audely, would you give me a minute. I just need to know something" he asked.

We gave him a thumbs up.

Philip closed his eyes and started to emit white aura. A giant rotating hologram of earth completely engulfed him.

"Activating Planetary information storage"

He opened his eyes. He's far from my sight so all I saw is it's now emitting light.

"Starting word search..."

"Injecting Keywords and key phrases"

">>Being happy just by seeing him/her even on just a photo"

">>Uneasiness on one's chest and tummy."

"What kind of key phrase is that?"

"SHUT UP AQUILA!"

"Yes..."

">>Wanting to be with him/her so much"

"What's going on Mia?"asked Audely.

I shook my head. "I dunno."

Philip clenched his fist. "Ugh! Aquila! Why aren't we getting any result?!"

"Like I told you, your key phrases are invalid."

I raised my hand. "Ummmm. I don't know what's going on but I think I know the word you're trying to find."

"What is it little miss?"

"Love. I think."

Philip opened his eyes. 

">>Love?"

At that moment, the hologram stopped from rotating. A book appeared in front then he opened it. Philip utterly became wonder-struck. "Ugh! This can't be happening!!! A great sage like me doesn't need this kind of crap!"

"Good for you Philip!"

"Shut up you Palish chicken!"

[First Person- Philip]

Why is this happening? This can't be!

"(Give it up Philip. It's only natural for youths like you.)"

No. I mustn't let myself be swayed by my emotions! I'll just act natural. 

"(Oh well...)"

[First Person- Audely]

"Excuse me. We came here to ask some questions. Would you mind answering it?" I requested.

He looked at me in an angy manner. "Phooey. I swear to myself that I'll never help humans again."

Mia begged genuinely with her palms pressed to each other. "Please... We really need your help..."

Philip blushed. "I suppose it can't be helped. I'll give as many information that I can."

Mia smiled. "Thanks."

"That was fast. Sigh. Youths this days are so fragile."

"You know Aquila, I think I want to eat a roasted white Raven today."

"Is that supposed to be a threat?

Philip furiously grip the book he's holding. "Who knows?"

What's happening? Is Philip in love to Mia? If so, how did that happened?

Philip smashed the little bird Aquila with his book and looked at us. "Anyway, what do you seek?"

Mia told him everything that happened to her.

Philip sighed. "Well, the same thing happened to me. I tried to look for information about it but someone's blocking my access."

Mia made a very sad expression. "No way...Huh? The same thing happened to you???"

Philip nodded. "Yeah."

Aquila flew near into Mia's face. "Will you please summon Flare?"

It flew near me too. "You're a dove right? Will you tell me why are you here?"

Before we even speak,

*Boom!

A huge explosion breached the library's wall. Many of the books scattered. Thick smoke sprawled inside the library. We heard footsteps coming near. Not too long, someone spoke.

"I finally found you, PHILIP!!!!!!"

"Sigh. You still hasn't given up? It's been so long. Haven't you learned your lesson yet?"

"HAHAHAHA. This time for sure!You'll surely surrender to us!!"

Philip summoned his staff and get ready to cast a spell. "No way in hell. Go away you bastards!"

Another footsteps approached near the breached wall.

"HAHAHAHA. Look who am I with! We finally had the power to match the white raven!"

The thick smoked vanished instantly and 2 men became visible.

Philip got astonished. His staff disappeared. His tears began to fell. 

"Charles... You're alive..."
