Simon was abruptly taken from the west roads... Owen walked up and down, he didn't know what to do he was still in shock from everything. He feared to act. He wasn't strong...he didn't know what to do... Eventually he stopped.
"P-P-Perhaps...Kristina can take over...she wanted to make a guild anyway, no?"- Owen said to himself
He said this but immideatly he regretted saying them. He couldn't help but feel disgusted by himself... Simon trusts him... He shouldn't leave him to die... Yet he had mixed feelings about doing anything... He closed his eyes and began punching a nearby tree.
"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!"
He didn't do this for long, he opened his eyes and began rushing into the forest towards where Simon was taken. Whilst this was happening Kristina was occupied with the retrival of a cloth... The person who lost it was a traveling merchant...it was appearently made of high quality fabric so he couldn't afford to lose it. Kristina didn't really know why a piece of cloth could be so important. She didn't bother trying to understand it. Her job wasn't that, it was to retrieve it. Appearently he lost it by the southern roads... Kristina wandered around those parts for a while until eventually she found a blood wolf trying to rip it apart...but failing to do so... It didn't take too long for Kristina to take out the wolf. She grabbed what now seemed like a handkerchief it had the name Carol on it... To Kristina it seemed to be made of normal cloth... Because infact it was, Kristina thought she just didn't understand so she didn't bother with it... She quickly got back to Pelican Stone and delivered the handkerchief to the adress... The one who took it back seemed like a poor old man...
"...I lied...I'm sorry, this isn't some high quality-cloth... it was my wife's... So I lied that strong adventurers like yourself would complete it..." - Old Man
Kristina didn't say anything...she wasn't an empath herself, yet she still felt sad...
"Oh...right the reward...."-Old man
"...No need Mr.... That's not why I did it... Just report that you did infact get your item back, and it was done by Kristina from Soaring Lions... Now keep the money to yourself..." - Kristina
She didn't want to accept... Krisitna wasn't smart but even she knew he needed it more than her. The old man didn't say anything and hugged Kristina...

"Uhm Okay...that's weird but...okay"-Kristina
"...I'm sorry. Miss...I'm just glad there are still people like you..." -Old man
The old man let go and eventually the two went over to the office reporting that the request was done.
Back to Owen who was mindlessly running deeper into the woods towards where Simon was taken to.
"SIMON!!!" -Owen yelled out to no response
He kept running until eventually finding himself in an open field, he saw large cobwebs with Simon in it.
"Owen! Be careful!" -Simon tried to break free. The field was a bit dark but seemingly 5-8 large spiders were in there.
Owen pulled back his bow and was ready to fire as the creepy critters began crawling towards him. He was once again scared to shoot, scared to miss, then eventually Simon yelled out.
"SHOOT!" -Simon
Owen let go of the string and the arrow pierced one of the spiders head. It died instantly, the others ignored it and kept advancing.
"I-It's dead!" - Owen grabbed another arrow from his quill. He began shooting the spiders rapidly, some only hit their bodies but he didn't miss. And those 3 that remained standing due to Owen only hitting their bodies were slower. It made Owen's job a lot easier. He took out the rest of the spider's. Quickly he ran over to Simon and cut him off of the cobwebs. Simon fell to the ground and quickly stood up dusting himself.
"So uh...I noticed that these guys weren't too strong, how the hell did they capture you?"-Owen
"Yes, that's what I tried to warn you about... Those little 4 feet tall spiders...were the children of a 10 feet one...she's not here right now...but we'll need to kill it. Problem is I don't know where it is...and those weren't her only children.
As Simon said that a group of 20 of those spiders emerged from the dark sides of the field... The two stood back to back eachother as they approached.
"Speak of the damn devil." - Simon
"...10...feet?"- Owen was still a bit taken back, he already feared these spiders which were almost the size of him now there's one that's bigger than him?
The two began to fend off the spiders. Owen was almost bit by one but Simon saved him. They made quick work of the small spiders. Owen pulled out all of his arrows so he'll won't run out.
"Is that most of her children?"- Owen
"...I'd say yes, but I don't really know... Let's hope so... The mother probably won't be happy... Now to find that bastard..." - Simon said
Owen looked around and eventually stopped to look at the giant cobweb in which Simon was.
"What's up?"-Simon
Owen just nudged Simon's shoulder and pointed to the tall part of the trees. Simon looked over to see the crimson black 10 feet tall spider.
"That's...what's up..."- Owen.
Owen readied his bow but he was still shaking...the mother seemed furious... Seeing her children's corpses it cries out spitting out stomach acid. It melt's the ground before the two... This made Owen even more scared. Simon stood battle-ready with his sword. The large spider began crawling towards the two. It's cry was loud, almost making their ears bleed... The two knew that this will be a tough fight...
