Chapter 25: Descendants of God

Chapter 25: Descendants of God

The bewitching seraph chuckled, his thorny rose tattoos seemingly rustled around his left flank joining his laughter.

The girls stood there stunned by the absolutely fanciable male before them, even Enyo was dumb-struck, a fire burning in her eyes.

“Who are you?” Enyo shouted stepping forwards, spear at the ready.

“So, you are members of the Blood Felicity Religion?” Said the seraph wholly ignoring Enyo’s question, his eyes flashing with a golden light.

“Yes, we are.” Many of the girls said subconsciously, their eyes glazing over.

“Begone!” Enyo’s voice laced with spiritual-sense echoed throughout the cavern, bringing the girls out of their trance.

“Oh, that’s no fun. It seems you noticed.” The seraph made a playful face of discontent.

“You better watch yourself,” Enyo said sternly, her voice infused with killing intent.

The seraph placed his left hand under his chin, his face contorting in confusion.

“Yes, you are right. That was unbecoming of me. I ask for your forgiveness,” The seraph said, an aura of benevolence emanated from him but was quickly withdrawn and changed into the seductive bloodlust he was first emitting.

Enyo’s pupils reduced in size when she noticed the odd change in the seductive seraph before her.

‘It seems his mind is not stable, we must be careful. The most beautiful things are always the deadliest.’ Countless thoughts flashed through Enyo’s mind.

To Enyo’s bewilderment, her blood started to churn with battle-intent, “What’s going on? Why is my God Blood burning with excitement?”

At that moment she felt an immense battle-intent trained on her.

“Why is my blood boiling when I look at you, red-headed beauty?” The seraphs deep voice entered Enyo’s ears.

“My name is Enyo Felicity, child of both the War Immortal and Blood God,” Enyo said proudly waiting for the seraphs reaction.

“That makes sense, my blood wouldn’t churn in excitement to fight just anyone.” The seraph replied as if it was only natural to fight a descendant of a God.

Such a reaction left Enyo speechless but at the same time interested in the handsome creature before her, “What’s your name seraphim?”

A playful smile slid across the teenage-looking face, “Defeat me, and I’ll tell you my name.”

Complete silence pervaded the Spectators’ Dome, all the women gazed in stunned silence at the winged youth.

“How is there a male inside the secret realm?” Elder Bai’s confused voice woke everyone up from their silence.

“More importantly, how is there someone so seductively handsome in the universe?” A flirtatious smile spread across a youthful sister.

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

At the Ether’s table, a stifling stillness permeated the air.

“Mother, is it normal to be attracted to a sibling?” Amelia whispered in a concerned voice.

“Generally, I would say it isn’t normal, but even I…” Jasmine’s helpless voice trailed off in defeat.

Raucous laughter echoed throughout the hall.

“I didn’t expect for this to happen, he looks way too brilliant. How is he even eight years old?” Anemone managed to squeeze her surprised voice in the midst of her own debilitating laughter.

“Although he doesn’t look too mentally stable at the moment.” Her eyes flashed with excitement.

Everyone stared at the Religion-Master, incredulity present on their faces.

Realising that she said too much, Anemone restrained herself and sat down, her expression nonchalant as usual.

Putting on the air of an educator, “Although what you are about to see may not be all that powerful compared to your strengths, it will still broaden your horizons.” Anemone voiced her opinion.

The sisters of the Blood-Felicity Religion all turned to look at the vision-arrays showing the two youths facing off against each other.

“Darling, are you sure you want to come at me alone? How about all of you attack together?” The seraphic Astrallis enquired playfully.

“Just me alone will be enough. I feel a strong vitality radiating off of you, how about we fight with our physical bodies?” Enyo replied straightforwardly.

“Sure, it’s just that, I can’t help but use my wings.”

With that Astrallis flashed towards a clearing in front of the Yin Yang Blood Pond, his wings gracefully beating the air in his flight.

Enyo soon followed, her spear and body armour withdrew, replaced with a red leather one-piece suit.

“Sisters, please make space. I feel that this fight won’t be over quick.”

“Enyo Felicity, I take it that you cultivate the Sanguinary Felicity Body-Art?” Astrallis enquired.

“How do you know the name of the art? Its something one only finds out when they swear their allegiance to the Blood Felicity Religion, through Heaven’s Promise; lest their souls are exterminated by heaven for breaking it.” Enyo replied a flash of killing intent passing through her eyes.

Astrallis magenta eyes flashed intensely as he turned to look in the direction of the Spectators’ Dome.

Suddenly the aura around Astrallis changed, his eyes becoming blood-red, an atmosphere of an asura began to emanate from his being. An ethereal black tree, with roses proliferating its thorny limbs, precisely the same as his tattoos, formed behind his back.

His aesthetic muscular body contorting with vitality, his tyrannical prowess ever-rising as a result of the Sanguinary Felicity Tree behind himself.

Enyo’s face clearly displayed her disbelief at the scene.

“Surprised? Don’t be. There was never any worry about my allegiance to the Blood Felicity Religion.” Astrallis said.

“Let’s fight, enough talking.”

Enyo reciprocated his aggression with the manifestation of her own ethereal Sanguinary Felicity Tree, entirely similar to Astrallis’ grandmother’s Sanguinary Felicity Tree; grey bark with red leaves.

An overwhelming blood vitality, superior even to Astrallis, spread out from Enyo’s body.

With a shout, the two charged at each other, after-images left in their wake. Astrallis’ speed was noticeably faster as a result of his wings, but the vitality that Enyo emanated overwhelmed his.

With a loud thunderclap, the two sent a barrage of hits towards each other, shockwaves forming around their fists. The two danced a beautiful routine of destruction around the cavern, devastation following their every movement.

Enyo forced Astrallis into the sky, with a set of quick, powerful kicks. He covered himself with his obsidian wings and dived towards her, in a spiral.

“Blood of Genesis.” With a shout a shield of Enyo’s own blood formed in front her to defend against the diving Astrallis.

The seraphic Astrallis barreled into the blood-shield destroying it completely, but at the same time, his momentum was drastically slowed, allowing Enyo to dodge out the way.

Her chest heaving, Enyo slowly said to Astrallis, “If you can use your wings to attack, then I can use my bloodlines.”

He smiled in response and spun his left wing to cut her, Enyo moved both her arms up in defence and managed to repel his onslaught, but a deep slash was still left across her arms.

Astrallis immediately attacked again, spinning gracefully with his wings, cutting Enyo around her body. A thick pool of blood formed beneath her, causing Astrallis to attack with even more eagerness.

His body becoming a blur of speed for the spectating girls in the cavern.

Astrallis finally stopped when he saw Enyo standing there with a sly smile spreading across her face.

With a revolution of her Blood God bloodline the wounds slowly healed, inciting a bitter chuckle from Astrallis.

“I feel when it comes to physical capabilities, I’m going to find it a bit tough,” Astrallis laughed languidly.

“It can only count as your misfortune to run into me, a cultivator with two god bloodlines,” Enyo smiled in schadenfreude.

“But then again, your physical capabilities are the best I’ve seen,” she said with a more serious demeanour, “my strength trumps yours, but in regards to speed and movement I feel that I am vastly inferior to you.”

“I’ve come to the same conclusion; your regeneration is incredible. I will only be able to match your regeneration when my Sanguinary Felicity Tree is able to physically manifest itself outside my body, and that is without you manifesting yours,” complemented Astrallis.

“Well, how about you tell me your name now?” Enyo asked, an expectant expression on her face.

“Hold on, beauty. We still haven’t used our Qi,”

“But, I can feel that you are only within the Two Spirit-Realms, while I am in the Sky-Realm. It’ll be an unfair fight,” replied Enyo.

“That is where you are wrong, in regards to bodily-cultivation you are superior to me, but in regards to essence cultivation I have confidence,” Astrallis dismissed her warning.

“You sure are one to talk, even though I haven’t used my last god bloodline,” Enyo walked till she was face-to-face with Astrallis, ”I don’t see how you will be able to withstand my onslaught.”

“You’re not the only descendant of a god here.”
