Chapter 45 The chase

Chapter 45 The chase

"Sorry! Excuse me!" I said, biting onto a toast as I rushed through the pathway.

My unzipped backpack dangling on my shoulder.

Some books from my backpack dropped, I had to stop and pick them up.

I grabbed the books and stuffed them back into where they belong, after that, I zipped up the bag and pushed through the crowd.

I can't risk to use my quirk, so I'd rather be late.

The gate to the school was just closing.

I squeezed through the gap, ignoring the calls of the security guard.

I skipped steps as I rushed up the stairs.

"Sorry I'm late! " I said, the green door crashed into the wall, creating a huge bang.

Mr. Marco looked at me, shocked.

My classmates looked at me in a mixed expression, not long before they started whispering.

"It's not likely for you to be late, Ms. Millie." He said.

"Sorry, I ....had something argent." I replied, brushed my hair with my hand, attempting to smoothen it.

I probably look like a mess right down, I gobbled down the toast and swung my backpack beside my table.

14 minutes late, wow, new record.

I was rushing through my homework in the morning and forgot to set a timing to it.

So I ended up heading out at 7: 30 rather than 6: 30.

That's not just it, that jackass left without me! ( Sean )

When I get my hands on him!

Heaven will know what happens next.

" Please hand in your assignments." Mr. Marco said, he placed his left hand near the corner of the table and added, " Pass it to the person in front of you and hand it in here."

I brushed my bangs away from my face for it was blocking my vision.

Now where is that assignment Mr. Marco asked for....

I pulled out a file, with almost too much paper inside, it could burst open anytime.

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.

I looked at it for a while before sticking my hand in and pulling out a set of paper.

The person in front of me was staring at me, flabbergasted, he must be wondering how I was able to recognize the assignment from that stack of paper.

The short legged girl who was suppose to sit in front of me switched classes for this math class, she's called Trisha I think, probably too freaked out about what I did in the first day of school, and might have been even more terrified after hearing the rumour of me beating up Eric's a**.

Right... I did break her phone...

And smash her head on a garbage can.......and probably runined her hair.....and....

Yeah nevermind, ignore what i just said, what I'm trying to say is that she was sooooo scared of me she switched classes....fantastic, I don't have to see that rotten old face of hers while she don't have to see this gorgeous young face of mine.

Wait, ignore that too.

" Here." I said, handing the set of papers to the person in front of me.

He gulped and took my papers, trying very hard not to crush them the slightest as it was neatly straightened by my file.

I guess I am just that terrifying.

"Hm, wonderful ! Everybody handed in their homework! " Mr. Marco exclaimed.

"Now....take out your workbook! Chapter 7 page 45."

**************

"SEEEEAAAANNNNN!!!!!"

My roar echoed through the corridor.

The students were horrified, things ain't gonna go well when I'm mad.

Yeah, y'all wouldn't want to be dragged into this.....mess I'm about to create.

Students automatically slided to the side as I stomped pass.

" SEAN YOU JACKASS! COME OUT HERE AND FACE ME LIKE A MAN! " I yelled, immediately putting pressure on the crowd.

Most students already ran, the brave ones stayed to watch the drama.

I scouted around the area, my eyes sliding from left to right.

Now where is that raven....

My eyes widened as it locked itself on a specific dark blue hair boy.

I grinned.

"Ah sh*t." I heard him say.

Too late boy, too late.

He took off and ran.

I chased after him like a mad duck.

After all that experience from being chased by bullies, he sure knows how to juke.

Nice try, but I've chased after more, from big to small.

And for once even a teacher when I was small.

Sean slided through the gaps of the crowd.

"MOVE ! " I yelled.

The cluster immediately spilted, creating a path.

That naughty boy took a turn.

Damn it.

My shoes halted to a stop, creating smoke and a blackish trail.

I took the same turn but Sean was no where to be seen.

Oh ho ho, where could he have went.....

Since I practically know which room he would always go to hide.

He would choose somewhere unexpected.....

Of course, there's also a chance that he knows that I will have to go through this thought before processing to the chase, so he might be hiding in another one of those spots to confuse me.

The chances are 7 : 3.

So that means.......

I flipped through the security cameras.

Gotcha.

"Erm....you done?"

"Yep, thanks a lot."

"Sure, no problem, good luck finding him."

I waved good bye to the kind security guard and rushed off.

Eheheheheh------

" SEANNNNN!!!!!!" I yelled into the art classroom.

The table at the last row moved a little.

I grabbed a piece of chalk and aimed for the bookshelf at the back.

With my genius math skills, I calculated my unit of power, how much I will need for it to reach the shelf but not break this small piece of chalk at the same time.

But that unit of power needs to be enough for it to reach the shelf and bounce off.

So I will need an edge......

I looked at the shelf and then at the table.

"SEAN! " I yelled as I threw the chalk at the shelf.

Just like my prediction, the piece of chalk bounced off and headed towards the table.

"OW! "

Gotcha.
