CHAPTER 3

BAKEMONOMIA

After Regit and Un Ojo got themselves acquaintance Un Ojo gave them a slight tour of the village showing architecture they had never seen before like masterful engravings on

doors and window frames glass being stronger then the one they are used to and some thing they had never seen before the system of automation not all of the of the village had this

but the wealthy people of the village had implemented this system in their shops, after the little tour of the village Un Ojo took them to a inn and even payed for their inn as

they had no money and the currency was totally different, In Regit side of the world gold, silver and copper coins were still being used but here paper currency was being used,

Regit was truly fascinated as how all of this was happening right below his feet and was being done by non-human people as their intellect was higher than them. After that they

sat down with Un-san and started asking his shares of question

Regit "I must say Un-san I am truly amazed by how far in society you guys have gotten and accomplished It feels like the above and down both are completely different WORLD "

Un Ojo "well what can I say, even the monster as you call us the ones who go out from the village when they come back they tell it as if we are living in the future and

you guys are in the past "

Regit "well they tell the truth but you said the monster who go out, can you tell me how to get out?, or to be precise how to go up? "

Un Ojo "of course I can tell you how to go back up but it is no easy task as there is only one person who knows how to get out but he will assign task to you and those task are

not easy whatsoever the monsters who go to them are already strongest among us but I don't know what he does to them they seems to go through an evolution and the seems to get

even stronger but as hard as it to go outside it is even harder to go back down "

Regit " That is why the monster up were so strong, so how did I end up here "

Un Ojo "I have been meaning to ask you that how did you come here "

Regit " OH I fell down a hole..Tee-heee"

Un Ojo "Don't you dare Tee-hee me!, you fell down a hole how is that possible the one who came back told it was extremely difficult and had to find the portal again to come back "

Regit " Portal?"

Un Ojo "yeah there is said to be a portal which appears when you want to come back but finding that portal is like finding salt in sand"

Regit "So to go back I have to meet the person whom you are talking about and do everything he tells me to do "

Un Ojo "yep that's exactly what you need to do but Those task are extremely hard keep in mind "

Regit "That's all right, but how do you know all of this "

Un Ojo "I have a few friends here and there"

Regit "well thank you very much Un-san you have really helped me out a lot and one last thing as it seems that I have no money could you introduce me some job as it seems it will

take a while before I get back"

Un Ojo "yeah no problem I will come back and take you to do some work which will help you earn some money" and whispers... "and help you in other ways"

Regit "Thank you very much Un Ojo san I will surely repay you someday"

and in silence he whispers to himself

Un Ojo said in a silent voice "yes you will repay all of us that's why you are here"

Regit "what"

Un Ojo "Nothing then rest well, I will get going ok, see you tomorrow"

Regit "Then see you tomorrow'

After the conversation Un Ojo went back and Regit went to his room and thought

Regit "It is strange as how all of this was under our feet and the monster that we have been fighting were friendly and they have more intellect then us, well tomorrow is a big day

for us it will take us a while but we will get back to our home right Kitsune"

Kitsune barks happily

while Un Ojo was thinking : I forgot to tell him a day here is three days above hmm well it will not harm him not knowing that :

THE NEXT DAY

after that both of them met outside the inn and Un Ojo took Regit to do some work, REAL work

UN Ojo "First up is construction work "

Regit " what construction, I thought you would take me to a guild and get me some jobs there"

Un Ojo "hahah.. this is not some fantasy novel and what get you a job to fight monster basically to fight us do not be ridiculous, There is always work in construction,

NOW get to work "

Regit " well you say that what am I supposed to do"

Un Ojo "well first carry all of those brick blocks from here to there"

Regit "alright these blocks here right well let's start here we go"

Tries to lift block

Regit "??? why is this so heavy I can not even seem to budge it "

Tries to lift it again

Regit "why is it so heavy hmm Un-san "

Un-san had already left

Regit "He's already gone and looks I can not go even if I want to but how am I suppose to lift it,...ahh that's right voice-san, oye voice-san need a little help here ....... hmmmm

seems like she is not he.."

Voice "Yes how can I help you !@$#:> "

Regit "ahhhh! ,Can you not come in a quiet way (not sus) well anyways can you help me I can not seem to lift these block"

Voice giggles

Regit "how about not giggle and help me here!"

Voice "why don't you use mana "

Regit "Right mana , hmm mana , how do you use that again"

Voice "seriously how can you not even know how to use mana"

Regit "nobody ever taught me ok I though I was classless and didn't need to study it ok"

Voice "yeah right, well first try to concentrate and feel the power or energy in you ,you'll see a light try to gather it and store it in your hand also tell me the color of light

you see"

Regit "Ok here we go concentrate concentrate hmmm I can not seem to see the light "

Voice "keep trying until you start to see the light particles "

Regit "let's try again ...."

after a while

Regit says with exhaust "why can I not see any light no matter how hard I concentrate"

Voice "hmm It is a bit strange you should have seen at least some particle , It is hard to gather it but not that hard to see it "

Kitsune licks Regit as it wants to encourage him

Regit "yeah kitsune I should not give up should I let's try again"

Kitsune barks with happiness, Regit closes his eyes and start again

Regit " Concentrate hmmm"

Kitsune gives a tap on Regit's lap then

Regit "ohh I see it I see the light particles there are three color Blue, Yellow and Red "

Voice "As expected now try to gather the blue particles and some of the red and try to gather it in your hand "

Regit "alright some blue and red right ,come here come to my hands ,oh! my hands suddenly feels strong and light "

Voice "Now try to pick up the blocks"

Regit easily picks up block as now they had became light as feather

Refit "Wow I can now easily pick up the blocks, I feel like I can even lift up a whole building, now let's put all of these blocks away and earn my first pay "

After a while Regit had put all of the block away ,Un Ojo also came back and said

Un Ojo "hey Regit well done you completed the task I thought you would give up"

Regit "oh Un-san I did it I finished the jobb.."

Regit then started to collapsed, Un Ojo dashed with speed and stopped Regit from falling

Un OJo "well that's to be expected it was the first time he properly used mana right !@#< well he has potential as I thought it would take him few days but he completed it a single

day"

After that Un-san took him to the inn and made him rest while thinking that he will become what they had anticipated

After the day that Regit first used mana and learned how to control it, UN Ojo got him another job in which he would learn something other then mana,

Un Ojo "So how are you after last night, you collapsed as soon as I got there"

Regit "I'm fine I don't even fell the slightest bit of exhaust it feels like I didn't do anything yesterday"

Un ojo "That's good because I have more work for you, so you better be ready "

Regit "I'm ready let's go"

Un ojo "let's go..., Here we are today you are going to do some Farming "

Regit "Farming..."

Regit says in a disappointed voice "I thought may be today we would do something exciting but farming fu fufu "

Un Ojo " stop being a baby Farming is not something that should be taken lightly it is the WORK DONE BY MAN so stop whining and start doing your job"

Regit "Alright, so what am I supposed to do "

Un Ojo "first up is tilting, you are going to tilt this whole land with that hoe over there and make sure it doesn't break"

Regit "I get that I have to tilt the land but that hoe is made out of wood it will break at the first strike"

Un Ojo "well that's up to you and when you start to use the hoe properly and it doesn't break move up to the one made out of stone then try to use it so it breaks and after it

starts breaking at your strike then use it so it does not break at your strike and do this until you reach the one made out of iron"

Regit "..... what??!"

Un Ojo "well I will get going see you "

After that Un Ojo left and Regit was left speechless and had to complete the task given by Un Ojo which was a bizarre one

Regit "So I have to use the wooden not break it then use the stone one so it breaks then not break it then the same to iron one...So what am I doing exactly,

well let's try to start then see if we get anywhere so use the wooden one so it does not break here goes nothing.."

strikes the wooden hoe in the ground to tilt the land but it instantly breaks

Regit" ..........ah it broke, just how am I supposed to do this it's so weak and fragile, let's try again and try to hold as much I can over my strength"

(there were a total of 12 wooden hoes so 12 tries)

Regit tries again but it also breaks, he tries this for a total of 8 times but fails every time

Regit "ahhh how am I supposed to do this it keeps breaking "

Voice "Should I help you "

Regit "voice-san, no not this time I will do it on my own this time "

Regit tries again but fails again

Regit "hahaha voice-san about that help"

voice-san "see you came back "

Regit "yeah yeah now help"

voice-san "nicely"

Regit "could you please help me"

Voice "alright, you known that you have all three class right, and one of them is warrior (weapon master) and remember the red particles you saw yesterday the are the one which

makes the warrior class and when you yeild a weapon all of those particle basically power gets transferred in your hand and you get incredible strength that's why even if you get

the stone hoe it will break at your first strike so try to adjust your power by moving the particles from your hand to somewhere else in your body"

Regit "ohh now I get it, I forgot that I even had a class so i just have to readjust that's simple let's try it, so readjust the particle and move it somewhere else here goes"

Then Regit tried two more times but fails now he only had one last try and had to succeed

Regit "that's strange I moved the particle but it stills breaks I only kept 2 to 3 particles per hand assuming i would still need some but it stills breaks this is the last chance

let's keep only 1 particle per hand and try again "

Regit tries one last time and this time he succeeded

Voice "It's truly strange even a person without warrior class has 6 to 7 particles per hand and he had to minimize it to one so it could at least use the hoe and even then the hoe

got a little damaged"

Regit "It worked, It worked finally, now I could move onto the stone one so first was to beak it so for the wooden one it took 1 particle per hand so how about 2 this time"

Regit instantly breaks the stone one on it's first try, then to use it he simple lessened the particles in this hand to 1 per hand again and stats using it

Regit "This is easy now that I know how to control my strength thanks voice-san for your help again"

Voice "It is my pleasure %^@#$:{"

Regit "now the iron one "

Regit just used one more particle then the one he used on the stone one and it also broke instantly and just used 1 particle to use it with that he tilted all the land by sunset

and as soon as he finished Un Ojo came and complimented him on his work

Un Ojo "I see that you have finished I am truly amazed by you, You even broke the iron one now that's impressive, so how about we go back and eat "

Regit "well it's all thanks to a voice in my head that's helping me "

Un Ojo "that's called thinking my friend "

Regit "YEah thinking..."

Un Ojo "let's go we have more work tomorrow "

Regit "we?"

Un Ojo " yeah yeah you got more work tomorrow"

Regit had not realized that he had up until now have just learned to control his strength on how to increase it or decrease it and learned to control mana which was a great fleet

on it's own but a vey minor compare to what has yet to come
