"Spirit Flower!"
Professor Faelia certainly knew this flower. The spirit flower was a powerful plant that strengthened the soul. She couldn't think of a more certain solution for a spiritual injury. Moreover, she had been searching for this plant herself for a long time, but a soul plant was not something easily found. Even in the past few centuries, it was considered legendary, only seen once.
Lester talking about the spirit flower had surprised her, but she quickly regained composure. She spoke before sitting down.
"Are you sure you have a spirit flower?"
"Of course, Professor Faelia, I'm sure it's a spirit flower."
"Show me the flower. If you have it, I'll accompany you to the Dungeon."
Professor Faelia spoke quickly, unable to conceal her excitement. Her cold demeanor seemed to have cracked.
"I regret to say that I can't show it to you."
"Why?"
"Because I didn't bring the spirit flower with me."
The professor frowned.
"Then how can I believe you? You must show me the spirit flower."
Faelia was insistent; she couldn't overlook the possibility of this young person deceiving her. This troublemaker from the academy caused problems for everyone. Also, obtaining a spirit flower was highly unlikely. Perhaps this boy mistook another plant for a spirit flower.
"Professor, as I said, the flower is not with me. I can only show it to you after we return from the Dungeon."
In fact, Lester knew the location of the flower, but he didn't need to hurry to get it. His priority was finding the technique in the Dungeon before the effects of the blood curse repeated.
...
Professor Faelia felt conflicted. If the boy was telling the truth, it was fantastic news, but if he didn't have the spirit flower, it was a waste of time. Faelia sat back in her chair, staring at Lester.
"Professor, for now, I can't show you the spirit flower, but I can describe it to you."
Before the professor could respond, Lester continued, "Its leaves resemble the texture of crystal and have a slight glow. The flower petals appear in shades of pink, blue, and lavender, with intricate lines. It also has a faint sweet fragrance. Is that enough?"
Faelia, listening attentively to Lester, was now certain that this was the spirit flower.
"All right, that's enough. We don't need to waste any more time. Let's go to the Dungeon tomorrow."
"That works for me. Thank you, Professor."

As Lester left the room, Professor Faelia looked at him excitedly.
"He's describing the spirit flower perfectly! This time, I'll succeed in healing you, father."
For years, she had tried to heal her father without success. His deteriorating condition left her feeling helpless, but now she was excited. A spirit flower could definitely heal her father. She wanted to believe in it.
"I need to prepare for the Dungeon."
After Lester, she left the room. She needed to inform the academy that she would be away for a while.
...
The strong wind hit my face as I rode swiftly. The horse I rode, was carefully selected by the Ortiz family. In terms of speed, these horses were excellent. Another horse, just as fast as mine, belonged to the Ortiz family, was on my right.
The woman on the horse had long white hair, flowing backward due to the horse's speed. Her distinctive pointed ears were visible, and instead of the academy uniform, she wore clothes that facilitated movement. A long sword hung at her waist. This woman was Professor Faelia. We had set out on our journey quickly, as we discussed yesterday.
Since the journey began, Professor Faelia had only spoken once, asking when we would reach the forest. When I told her it would take an estimated three days, the conversation ended.
We had been on the road for a few hours, but neither of us was tired. I was used to such situations. There was hardly a need to talk about Professor Faelia. With her statistics, she could travel on horseback as fast as modern vehicles for weeks without a break.
The journey continued at the same pace. The sun set, night fell, but we kept moving. In reality, taking a short break wouldn't have been a bad idea, but Professor Faelia had her eyes fixed on the horizon, focusing only on the road. She was in a hurry to heal her father. If I didn't suggest a break, she wouldn't sleep properly for the next few days. Even finding food might become a challenge.
I stopped my horse and spoke to the Faelia.
"Professor, it's getting late. I think we should take a break until the sun rises again."
She heard my voice and stopped. It seemed she hesitated for a few seconds, reluctant to rest, but she agreed nevertheless.
We tied our horses and sat down in a corner. I quickly made a fire. Then, I took out two cushions from my spatial bag. There was no need to set up a tent since we had been moving throughout the night, and the sun would rise in a few hours. There was no time to sleep, but it wasn't a first for me. However, skipping meals might make it difficult to stay energized.
"You seem accustomed to these kinds of journeys."
I wasn't expecting Faelia, who was sitting across from me, to start a conversation, so I answered a little late.
"Yes, I have traveled alone many times."
"Isn't it exhausting to embark on long journeys alone?"
Honestly, I didn't find it challenging.
"No, I don't think it's difficult."
I had been traveling alone for as long as I could remember. So, I didn't know if it would be more comfortable with a team.
"Surprising. Nobles wouldn't set out on a journey without taking a few servants."
"If we had taken servants, we would have traveled more slowly."
"Fair point."
It seemed that when I mentioned our journey, she thought we would be accompanied by a group of servants. But what surprised me was Faelia's curiosity. She wasn't someone who usually asked questions. Apparently, she had questions about the soul flower. When I handed her the cooked meat, she spoke again.
"Do you also find the spirit flower alone?"
"Yes."
"I read that the spirit flower creates a barrier to prevent living beings from finding it. Is that true?"
"Yes, it wasn't easy to find. There was a barrier that concealed it, and beings felt uncomfortable when approaching it. Luckily, the barrier seemed weak, allowing me to get close to the spirit flower."
Faelia nodded slightly.
In fact, the barrier around the soul flower was a significant obstacle that made it challenging to find because, as beings approached, their souls felt disturbed. Consequently, every approaching creature recoiled with an ominous feeling. When Faelia's questions ended, we ate the cooked meat.
...
We arrived in the forest on the third day of the journey.
"After this point, it's better to proceed on foot."
Faelia got off the horse as if asking me where we were going. In reality, I didn't know; all I knew was that the Dungeon was inside a cave in this forest.
"Professor, I don't know which way the Dungeon is."
