Eight years later:
"Hey Kim. That's not fair, don't hog the ball." A little boy said.
"Stop being so trash at the game then." A girl replied.
A figure could be seen hopping down from the trees above them, carrying a giant boar carcass.
"It's Isaac."
"He's home!"
The kids ran and cheered around him. During his time on the island, Isaac had grown exponentially. He was now a 5'10 sixteen year old young man, still with his dark hair and eyes, and a much more built figure. He walked towards the food market and gave the carcass to the butcher.
"How much do you owe me?" Isaac asked.
"Hm, here's fifty. You're lucky because you're leaving today!" He shouted while Isaac walked off after taking the money.
He made his way over to the Elder's house and opened the door.
"Hey Granny. I'm leaving today. Don't tell me you forgot." He said quickly
"Hey, I keep telling you to talk with respect to the Elder!" Anya cut in.
"It's alright Anya. It's his last day on the island after all." Tabith smiled.
She stood up with her cane and could almost not believe it. That little and small Isaac, a complete cry baby, was finally leaving the island. He was as tall as Anya now as well.
"I'm assuming you already have everything ready? You've waited eight years after all."
"Yeah!" He responded. "Mom...I've left you in their hands for too long. It's time I pay you back." He thought to himself, while heading to the small fishing boat the villagers gave him with a few people.
They reached the east of the island, which led to the nearest port town. Isaac planned to hitch a ride on a giant cargo ship to the main land of the Fasho Continent, said to stretch over six thousand miles. The villagers gathered where Isaac promised to bid them farewell.
"Gando left about a year ago didn't he? Of course, after he completed your training that is. Please don't let it all go to waste." Anya pleaded.
Isaac blushed. He was happy his crush, who was older than him, was worried about how he would turn out in the future. He was sad he spent eight years bottling his feelings for her but decided to let it go since he had more important situations at hand. He hoped to see her again the most out of everyone on the island.
"It's as I prophesised. You've grown into a very strong young man. Make Gando, and all of us proud!" Tabith proclaimed.
The rest of the crowd cheered for Isaac as he hopped into the fishing boat. After all, he was the one who conquered all the beasts in the jungle around their village, and provided them with a tranquil few years.
"I'm off now everyone. Take care!" He shouted.
One of the hunters loosened and pulled off the rope that connected the boat to a post on the shore. The boat began to drift off eastward and Isaac looked back hearing words from Anya.
"Don't eat all of your food in one go, and don't waste all the money you have on snacks in the port town. Don't forget to check your compass to see where you're going either. Oh, and you're underwear too, don't forget to change that either." She shouted.
Tabith put her hand to her face and shook her head. "You're caring about him a bit too much Anya." She thought.
Isaac waved goodbye one last time and sat forward staring at the beautiful white clouds, blue sky and beautiful sea ahead of him. He checked his compass to make sure he was going east and also made sure to check the wind just as Gando had taught him. Eventually, when he looked back, he could only see the Hunters island as a black silhouette. He sat comfortably and began eating a sandwich Anya had made for him.

"Gando didn't tell me where he was going after he was done teaching me about the world, and training me in martial arts. Knowing him, it's probably to go and live a quiet and peaceful life somewhere, like he wanted. Maybe Tabith knows something. I'll send them a letter once I get to the port town. It's not like the Hunter's island is closed off or anything. They get mail, trade and sell with neighbouring islands as well. I'm honestly surprised the Government didn't find me, after hearing how great and all powerful they are from Gando..." He thought while munching.
His eyes opened suddenly and he reached into the small bag around his shoulder and back. He pulled out an old bounty poster of him from eight years ago. He cringed at the sight of seeing himself crying as the photo but then looked down at the number.
"Five thousand huh. Only alive as well..." He continued.
One and a half days later:
"Almost two days on a fishing boat at sea are killing me. At least I got a toilet all around me. My food still hasn't run out either. Anya really went all out for me."
He stood up and looked to the east with his telescope and saw a black silhouette of an island in his view.
"That's gotta be it..." He smiled.
The port town was finally in view and Isaac's quest to free his mother from captivity was finally starting to pick up.
Another forty-five minutes later:
Isaac got off at the port and was happy to finally be on dry land. Luckily, that fishing boat was big enough to get some good exercise and stretching in. He went over to the boat salesman in a booth at the port.
"Yo old man, I'm Isaac. How much can I sell my fishing boat for?"
"That old thing. Probably eighty silva, probably above ninety if someone's willing to pay for it. And I'm not an old man just yet you runt."
As they were speaking, someone in a hood came by.
"I'll take it for a hundred."
Isaac was surprised and looked down at the person as they were just a tad bit shorter than him. He couldn't see their face but could tell that it was a female voice that spoke.
"Well there's your deal kid. Now get out of here, I've got more customers who want to fish or sail."
Isaac took the money and looked at the long line behind him and apologised awkwardly. He looked around after and the person he sold his fishing boat to was nowhere to be seen.
He shrugged it off and made his way down the bustling streets. It was nice and reminded him of home. The shops and stalls of course were open. He saw a sign for an inn at the top of one of the buildings and made his way there. At the entrance he bumped into a man who was taller than him, had brown hair and a small cut scar over his nose. He wore a black robe, covering his arms and back. Isaac could tell from the strap around his body he had a bag on his back.
"Watch where you're going." The man said.
Isaac apologised and went into the inn. He requested a room and checked his pocket for his wallet. It wasn't in his pocket and he immediately came to the conclusion the man at the door took it. He was surprised he didn't feel it being snatched at all.
"That bastard at the door must have taken it." He immediately thought.
He ran outside and saw the man running on the roofs. Isaac grabbed onto one of the pipes connected to the inn building. He climbed up like a monkey and started running after the man, the tiled roof being hard to grip on to.
"Come back here you thief!" Isaac shouted.
The man stopped moving once Isaac caught up and pulled out a sword which was hidden under the robe he was wearing.
"You don't wanna do this. Just go away." The man suggested.
Isaac wasn't being robbed on the first day he was off the hunters island. He was determined to kick this man's ass and threw his bag on the roof, putting his fists up in a fighting position.
The man ran towards him, swinging his sword at Isaac's head. Isaac ducked under and punched the mans hand, sending his arm and the sword upwards. The man was surprised and saw Isaac following through with a punch to the chin. He was able to kick himself back off of Isaac's chest in time, sending them both onto their backs.
"You're good. I'm gonna have to use something else to win. No hard feelings."
The man held his sword with both hands and Isaac watched as it started to glow bright yellow.
"Chi.." Isaac whispered in surprise.
The man came towards Isaac much more quickly and began swinging his sword much quicker and precisely. Isaac narrowly dodged the attacks, left, right, up and down. The man immediately went down and tripped Isaac down to the floor with his leg. He jumped and aimed to stab Isaac in the chest. Isaac pushed off and out of the way with his hand to the side hard, blasting tiles he pushed off of and sending him far. The man landed where Isaac was before, and then looked at Isaac in interest.
"You can use it too. Chi."
"Yeah, I was shocked when I saw you use it. I'm surprised I could keep up with someone using Chi to attack me." Isaac stood up.
The man looked at Isaac's arm from his elbow to hand, and saw it glowing a dim red.
"Only Chi users can see other Chi. Yours is strong enough, but you make up for it with combat experience. What sort of training did you do?"
"I don't tell secrets to random robbers."
The man scoffed and sheathed his sword, throwing Isaac's wallet towards him. Isaac caught it and put it away.
"Why'd you give it back?"
"I don't tell secrets to rude little runts."
Isaac smiled in slight annoyance and hopped off the roof heading to the inn to rest.
