SEAN
Sean was in fact, very gay.
As he was walking back into the woods behind Oliver's house he was currently suffering from "gay panic".
He came to terms with the fact he was gay when he was about 15, however, the only person he has ever told about the fact that he was gay was his best friend who, as he walked deeper into the woods, walked up to him and transformed into a stunning woman with long dark red hair that reached right above her butt. Her name was Corrine.
"Who's the twink?" she asked casually. Sean shushed her vehemently.
"Nobody." He whispered before he transformed into a wolf and took off running toward home.
Sean came out to Corrine when they were seniors in high school. The two were dating at the time and had been since 8th grade. They had never gone past second base. It is safe to say, Corrine was not surprised when he told her. Nor was he surprised when she told him she was a huge lesbian. Sean told his mother and father when they broke up that they had just grown apart and decided to just be friends.
Sean arrived in his pack's village with Corrine right on his heels. The two of them transformed back into humans. The rest of the pack transformed right behind Sean and Corrine. Everyone was grabbing the clothes they had left on the outskirts of their little town, along with Sean and Corrine. Sean was thoroughly exhausted from the multiple transformations he did today. Corrine noticed how exhausted he was and took his hand as they walked the main path into town.
"You ok?" She asked.
Sean nodded.
"You sure?" she added.
Sean nodded again.
Corrine was not so sure, but she let it go. Corrine began to turn toward the direction of the trailer they shared, Sean did not turn and instead continued straight ahead. Corrine was confused. "Where are we going?"
"You can go home. I need to see my dad" Sean dropped her hand as he said this and continued to walk on.
"Is it about that wolf family?" Corrine jogged up beside him and walked alongside him. Sean nodded.
"Yes. Many wolves saw them. I'm sure he already knows they're here. I want to assure him they aren't a threat."
"Are you sure they aren’t a threat? You think he will listen to you?"
"We shall see."
The two walked the short distance to Sean's father's house. Everything in the town is a short distance. Most of the trailers are only about 20 feet apart from each other. There are only a few actual houses in the town, Sean's father's house is one of them. When the pair arrived at the house Sean knocked on the door. Sean knew that most likely, one of his father’s wives would open the door. Sean hoped it would be his mother. He was not so lucky as one of his father's younger wives opened the door. She was only a few years older than him and she gave him a flirty smile when she opened the door.
"Hello, Handsome. Here to see Daddy?" She leaned on the door frame when she spoke. Sean did not particularly care that she was technically disrespecting him by speaking to him this way as he was an alpha in the pack. Sean did not particularly care for these traditions, however, he was feeling very tired and grumpy this evening. He opened his mouth to speak to the woman, but Corrine spoke up for him.
"That is not how you address an alpha in this pack, bitch." She emphasized the last word to let this woman know exactly where her place in the pack was. The woman immediately stood up straight and lowered her eyes.
"I didn't mean anything by it," she muttered.
"Take care that it doesn't happen again" Sean seethed as he walked past her. She did not meet his eye and kept her eyes on the floor.
"Of course, your father is in his study."
Sean smiled at Corrine once they were past the woman. "You didn't have to do that." He whispered.
"Yes, I did, because I knew you weren't going to take up for yourself."
Sean knew she was right. He was an alpha sure, but he has always had a bad habit of allowing others to walk all over him. This was not the first time that Corrine had spoken up for him. In his opinion, she deserved to be an alpha more than he did. If she had been born a man, or if the traditions of the pack were different. She would be.
When they were in front of his father's study, Sean knocked on the door.
"Come in." came from the other side of the door. Sean opened the door and was greeted by his father, Jack, sitting at his desk with a cigarette in his mouth and a glass of scotch in one hand. He was reading over one of the many papers that were scattered over his desk. When he looked up and saw it was Sean, he smiled, put out his cigarette, and stood. He came toward Sean with his arms open. "Sean! My son!" He engulfed Sean in a hug. Sean half-heartedly returned the hug. Jack turned toward Corrine and took her hand. "Corrine. you look more beautiful every day," he said and kissed her on the cheek. "Please tell me you two are here because you finally talked some sense into my son and you are telling me you two are getting married?" Jack looked between the two of them.

"No sir. I've told you before, we're just friends." Sean said.
"Oh." Jack looked disappointed. He dropped Corrine's hand and headed back to his chair. He sat and looked at his son. "What have you come for then?" He asked.
"I'm sure you have already heard of the new wolf pack that just moved in nearby," Sean began. "I have just come to tell you that I already scouted them out. They're harmless." Sean waited for his father to say something. When he did not, he continued. "It's just a family. A father, his wife, and their four pups."
"Pups?" Jack asked. "From what my boys have told me, these so-called 'pups' are grown men." Jack eyed his son. Sean gulped.
"Yes, I just meant they are all the children of the older man and woman. Harmless. The one I spoke to has never even met another werewolf before."
"Spoke to? You spoke with one of the strange wolves?" Jack did not look angry, but he did look disapproving. Sean was uneasy.
"Yes sir." Sean's throat felt too dry. "He approached me while I was out on a hunt."
"And you didn't rip his throat out right then and there?” Jack looked appalled. “How can you be so sure that these outside wolves aren’t who is causing all of these disappearances?" Jack’s voice rose in anger as he finished his last question.
"No sir. I did not see a reason to. He was a rather small wolf. He did not threaten me. He was excited to meet another wolf. We just spoke for a short time. I spoke with his father as well. He told me his children have never lived in another pack outside their family.” Sean was speaking rapidly and his mouth felt particularly dry. “I don't believe they are a threat. They're afraid of us. Their fear seemed genuine, they cannot be behind the disappearances" Sean finished, his heart beating rapidly in his chest. He hoped his father could not tell. He waited for Jack to speak.
Jack was nodding his head and rocking in his chair. He didn't say anything at first. Then he stood and began to speak.
"You're my son. My eldest son. My heir." He put his arm around Sean. "If you truly believe these wolves aren't a threat and they aren’t who’s behind these murders? I believe you." Jack was walking his son to the front door. "They are not, however, gonna live in our territory and not abide by our rules." They were at the front door now. Jack opened the door for his son and his companion. He took his arm off Sean and motioned for the door. Corrine and Sean walked through. "The family joins our pack, or we take them out. Understand?" Sean nodded. Jack continued. "Since you already spoke with them. I will let you tell them the good news that they have an open invitation to our pack." Jack smiled. Sean nodded again.
"I will tell them. Thank you, sir." Sean turned to leave. "Goodbye father, thank you."
"No problem son. And hey, consider what I said about you two getting married. I wanna see some grand pups before I'm seventy." Jack smiled at Corrine. Corrine tried not to visibly look grossed out by the idea of birthing babies.
"As always, we will consider it." She said, "Thank you Alpha." She bowed her head a bit before turning to leave as well. Jack watched them for a bit before shutting the door.

When Sean and Corrinne got to their trailer, Sean immediately headed to his bedroom. He was still super exhausted due to the number of transformations he had done that day. Corrine called after him before he could close his bedroom door.
"Are you going to explain why you bothered to stick your neck out for these strangers?" She asked. "Your father did not approve, he acted like all was fine, but I could tell he was upset with you." Corrine came to the door with her hands on her hips. Sean sighed, threw his head back, and turned to face her.
"They're an innocent family." He answered.
"So?"
"So? You think I'm the type of person to watch a family of 6 be slaughtered for no good reason?" Sean was whisper-shouting as he did not want anyone outside the trailer to hear him. Corrine only stared at him. Sean stared back at her. Neither knew what to say. Corrine was confused and Sean knew there was no reason to keep anything from her, being his best friend, she would find out one way or another. He closed his eyes and sighed deeply. He sat down on his bed, Corrine walked over and sat next to him.
"He's my mate." Sean finally admitted. Corrine's eyes widened.
"Who? The twink?"
"Stop calling him that. Yes, his name is Oliver."
"You're sure?" She asked.
"Yes." Sean was very sure. "I felt it the moment he transformed out of his wolf form in the woods." He paused and ran his fingers through his hair. "I felt like all of the breath got knocked out of me all at once. I don't know how to describe it."
"Love at first sight?" Corrine offered.
"Yes and no. It's just this insanely strong connection. I feel like I have always known him like I was born with his face in my head and I haven't even spoken to him for more than 5 minutes. I feel INSANE!" He put his face in his hands. Corrine placed her hand on his back comfortingly. Sean leaned into her and she laid her head on his head.
"If he is your mate, why don't you go to him? I'm sure he feels it too. You two can run into each other's arms and kiss or whatever, like in the movies." She chuckled which made Sean laugh.
"He didn't act as if he felt it. He seemed more annoyed by me than anything." Sean sat up and looked Corrine in the face. "What if he isn't into guys?" This thought made Sean feel sick to his stomach. Corrine snorted.
"You think he isn't into guys? Did we see the same person?" Sean glared at her.
"I can't rely on stereotypes to tell if someone is gay or not Corrine. Do you try to hit on every girl with short nails and a backward ball cap?"
"Yes."
"Fuck you."
The two of them burst out laughing. Corrine hugged her friend and kissed his cheek.
"Get some sleep. We can go deliver the message to your lover boy in the morning. Maybe we will try to find out if he likes boys as well."
Sean nodded. "Thanks, Corrine."
"No problem." She stood and walked out of his room calling "Good Night" over her shoulder. She closed the door behind her.
Sean flipped his lights off and crawled into bed. He closed his eyes and tried not to think about how Oliver looked naked. It's going to be hard to sleep tonight, no matter how exhausted he is.
