"I'm guessing you need some time to sort your new class out. So, an illicote? I didn't think I would see one in this plane again." After a thorough explanation of what happened, peter escaped from the clutches of Vayazi.
You have become an illicote. You gained the race class sword mage.
You have reached level 11. Please complete the class promotion quest before further levelling.
Peter checked through his stats to see the massive gain in his stats. The quest showed up right next to the other passive skills that he had.
Passive quest

"How strong is a Boss tier enemy?" Peter asked Vayazi while she was still in a good moon. "Slightly more powerful than an Elite tier. They can call for reinforcement. Apart from that, they aren't much worth it." After pausing for a second, she continued, " most would rather kill the elites and run away from the boss tier. The minions make them a lot harder. To you, it shouldn't be too hard to kill one near your level."
Peter explained to Vayazi about his promotion quest to which she just shrugged. "If you want to find those creatures it's difficult in the open world. But there are a lot in medium and large size dungeons. That would be the easiest way to complete the quest. There is a medium-scale dungeon to the east of Hedgesnow, near where you found me."
Thanking Vayazi and Zenith, peter left the tomb and logged out to eat food. He found the girls in the kitchen and quickly joined them.

"So how good are the new members?" Eric was sitting on a chair next to the massive conference table.
"We have at least 200 mages with 120 in tier 2. Most of the tier 2s specialise in armoursmith. A few of them even have their unique recipes. We have 50 woodworkers, 10 cooks, 40 tailors. A few of the others have mixed classes. Among them 8 leather workers and 10 artisans as well. There are two runesmiths, two enchanters, one animal tamer and one farmer. I think we have enough crafters to take over a good portion of the market. We already received custom orders from Cold hand and Mist falls." Peter sat back in his chair thinking about how he could get the beast crystals.
"I will buy and add a few unique recipes into the guild crafting. Also, tell them to prioritise town orders over other guild orders. We need to level up to receive guild bonus perks in crafting." Peter waited a bit noticing something bothering Eric. "What is it?" "It's not good news but most of the crafters are still in tier 1. I'm not sure if they would be able to make any profit from their stuff. We would be wasting resources if we don't find a way to level them up fast."
"How much gold are we spending now?" "Eric went through the papers and hesitated, " almost 200 a day. At the rate, we could last for maybe two weeks before the funding dries up. Most of the items we created are too weak don't have them to the enchanters to disenchant them." "Good call. Let them train. I should make a few more armour then. It shouldn't be too hard. Leave the gold issue aside for now. Give them copper to work with and tell them to improve the quality first." Peter got up to leave followed by Eric to the front door.

Alder was sitting on her high chair when Peter came in with his newly created potion. "So you made the potion. Well, I guess that's it for now." Alder took the &is alchemist badge and replaced it with a new one.
"That should be enough. Try and create a few unique recipes. You will need at least 10 if you want to advanced to tier 3."
As peter turned to leave, Alder threw a ring at him. "At least learn to hide the aura. This should help." Looking puzzled peter checked the ring.
Mana cloak
A ring capable of preventing mana spread.

Peter went back to his office getting ready to craft more armour for Rising Suns. The steel armour didn't satisfy requirements for an elite armour, so peter had wet out and found another higher rarity blueprint. To peter, he also needed a stronger for himself he was to hunt for boss tier enemies. Peter finished up the work completing the last set-piece.

With one armour made, peter put the rest active with his mass production. To his surprise, the crafting time was considerably lowered compared to before. After spending almost half an hour at the anvil, peter decided to send the armour to Eric.
"I just completed the order. How is it looking over there?" "They are all doing fine. I was planning to invite a few of them over to the guild office. They seem to have potential." "Do they have any cabins?" "Most of them are using public cabins. That might be why their skills are this low." "Yes, I tried one of them. They cannot be tailor set to the players. Looks like we will have to help them buy their cabins."
'That should be enough to last a week or two more."
Peter went ahead and looked through his ingredients useful for crafting another potion.
Recipe: Strenght Boost Potion(R)
Ingredients:
Bloodmoon leaves x10
Aura leaves x10
Powdered lotus flower 50g
Mixing essence
Water
"Method: preheat the cauldron. Add water and mixing essence. Once the mixture reaches boiling cool it down till the oil starts to segregate at top. Add the Aura leaves and Bloodmoon leaves. Let the content simmer for 1 minute. Once the colour of the mixture turns blood red, add lotus flower powder. Slowly release mana to prevent overheating and hold the heat constant. Simmer for a longer period for higher quality extract."
'I hope this one goes as good as the last.' In his previous attempt, he was only able to one vial of the potion. He had to leave it with Alder to complete his promotion. Although the qualification was much better, it was only due to a fluke. Peter had yet to learn proper infusion of mana into the mixture. He had depleted all his mana trying to understand the tempo. Peter was more confident in this current attempt.
Peter slowly started working on the potion. This time over peter was able to maintain his mana flow at a steady rate while the mixture kept simmering in the cauldron. After almost 15 minutes, peter ran out of mana and put out the fire.
Strength Boost Potion(R)
Quality: 7
Bonus strength: 70
Duration: 7 minutes
Cooldown: 10 minutes
You made strength boost potion(+7). You gained 700 alchemy experience.
The created potion was enough to fill 15 vials. 'I wonder how much it would sell out in the market for'. Even if peter wanted to sell he couldn't expose his alchemy class to the general players. Besides, peter needed as much strength as he could muster for his upcoming fight against the Boss tier monsters.
Have hoping that they would be of a suitable level, peter started making the next batch of healing and strength potions.

After his fight in the western alderriver forest, peter had made plans to change his weapon. Creating unique blueprints had caused peter to ruin most of the efficiency granted by the weapon. So this time, peter decided to go for a plain sword. The steel bars were slowly formed into a twin blade sword while the handle was crafted from both oak wood and steel rim. The finished sword was after sharpened over a grinding wheel only to leave behind a very sharp sword.

"Hey, are you girls free? I was hoping you guys could join me to kill off a few monsters." Eric called Sicily as soon as he was done crafting for the day.
"Finally, did you just now realise we too play the game? We aren't free now. We were going to meet with Alex team to kill a few regional bosses." Peter waited a few minutes, "think you could postpone? I have a dungeon that I need to explore but it would be pointless without a decent group."
"What do we get?" "It's a medium-tier dungeon." "How do you know that?" "An NPC told me." "They are cheating you. There are no medium-tier dungeons on this map." "The NPC was an LVL 999 deity." "Lvl 999? Where did you meet him?" "She was part of a quest." After a few seconds of murmuring, presumably with the other two girls, Sicily replied, "Where do you want to meet?" "Town gate?"
Peter left for the market after confirming things with the girls. The skills were varying depend on how one practice it. Most of the skills as long as they were not rare were available in the NPC shops. With the addition of mana, Peter now had the option to gain skills that were related to mana.
Due to sword mage being a legendary class unlike the common class before, peter could also create certain skill combos as he progressed. Although to create sword combos without magic, the system would have to recognise the movement as unique. Skill creation was the most difficult part of the game. But once you created it, recreating the same was even harder. Even slightest deviation could result in a backlash.
The collection of mana related skills were huge and cheap since most players were none magic oriented.
Mana blade(10g)
Create a blade with mana wielding strength depending on intelligence. Requires mana wielding for proper function. Mana cost: 100
Mana defence shield(50g)
Reserve a part of your mana to supplement your equipment defence. The shield will break if you receive damage beyond the threshold. Can only be cast outside battle.
Cresent Blade(200g)
Create blade auras to attack your foe. Requires wind affinity. Mana cost: 20/blade
The cost of skills was higher for stronger skills. The utility skills were all cheaper under 50g. Peter chose both mana blade as well as mana shield since he had yet to achieve any element affinities. As he had finished purchase and returned to the gate, Sicily called him asking where he was.
'Looks like they are excited. I hope the difficulty won't turn them off.'
Meeting up with the girls, he formed a party and left in search of the dungeon.
