Marcus is your modern earth young boy. Everything around him changed when his father died when he was still a sixth-grader. He doesn't enjoy the company of his friends anymore, and most of all, what used to be fun is now a torment for him. He wanted to escape this kind of reality. Luckily, the world ended, and he arrived in heaven, or so that's what he thought at first.
