As I turn around to continue eating I get a notification from my arm, an archite capsule is ready. I open up the archite storage and there is nothing I can do from inside it, so I look through the other tabs on my arm, finally finding something in my Genetic Manipulator’s options, modify Bloodline. My current options are a 10% percent increase to mind attribute, an amplified amount of mana by 20%, or if I wait there are other options. The other options are all more, esoteric in nature, for example, if I can get 20 archite capsules, I will get the ability to freecast spells with mana without a mana focused class, though I will have to level up to get expanded capacity, or at least, I assume that. Plus, the samples from the centrifuge are ready, I end up getting a leg affecting gene that would modify my leg muscles to be more powerful, but I don’t know what the side-effect of such an ability could be so, for the time being, I dig into the food in front of me.

Lucia Page:
“It was unwise to antagonize him like that.” I tell Robert. “He would be problematic as an enemy.”
“What do you mean? He only has a Non-Combat class, what can he do?” He responds, arrogant as always, well at least since I’ve known him.
“He killed a level 7 creature alone, and with a non-combat class. How is that not concerning?” I snap back.
“We killed a level 15 when we were level 1.” He says in a languid tone.
“Yet we all have Combat classes of Legendary Rarity or higher, plus, does your class not have an identify skill?” I say, the annoyance oozing through my tone
“Yes, but it doesn’t tell me the specifics, it tells me his most powerful skill, Manipulator Arm, his highest attribute, Mind, and his biggest weakness, his low physical capabilities.” He smarms.
“You realize he must have a Mythic, Genetic, or Ascendant class right.” I say slowly.
“Good point, yet my point still stands. In comparison to us, he is very very weak.” He slows down his speech towards the end emphasizing his point.
“Either way, it probably wasn’t the best idea to continually annoy like that.” I state, admitting defeat. I pull up my own status, well a shortened version I unlocked through being above level 6.
Name: Lucelia Page
Class: Energy Manipulator-8
Health:157/157
I state
“My Health is back at full. Ready to get back to the grind?” I hear a cacophony of affirmative sounds around me as we begin to hunt. Minutes later we spot a large amphibian crawling out of the water of a relatively small stream. The Amphibian is suddenly assaulted by Robert who attacks using a skill of his he recently gained, Blink and Copy, which allows him to teleport forward, invisible for a moment, while leaving an illusion where he was before. The amphibian is caught off guard by the sudden attack, and is suprised, costing it its left frontal left leg via a dagger impaling it coated with the venom the man gave us. Speaking of which, we never got his name, but at the current moment, I form an energy blade and rush towards the amphibian, which is surprisingly docile, thanks to Sarah and Paul. I manage to cut off its head before it does much in the area of being aggressive before I realize that Robert is Red in the face and shaking.
“The hecks going on!” I exclaim.
“I cast Identify on the poison, and it says Expired Neurotoxin-Original Spoil time-2 minutes. We got played”

“Ha! No wonder he didn’t complain about giving it to us.” I chortle.
“Well, are we going to do anything about it?” Sarah pipes up, "We should take some of that food in recompense."
‘Sounds good.” the two others state. I sigh.

Edward Toon:
I walk away from my camp after eating in search of a suitable area for a more permanent settlement. I end up locating an area with a large lake nearby along with a stream running through the woods nearby, so I begin to build a shelter. I use the knife on my Manipulator Arm to begin to carve a home into a large redwood tree, and as I do it I get a prompt.
Do you want to invest 1 archite into this organism?
Types of Investment Available:

Fortress
Store
I select yes and fortress given my current situation. I watch as I see the archite being slotted into the Genetic Manipulator and I stab the tree. Golden viens begin to spread throughout the tree before it grows a large quantity of, from what I can tell, seed rifles. Furthermore, a door has manifested at the bottom of the tree and when I enter I see a stairwell, and I ascend it. While ascending the stairwell there are bits of see through bark, permitting me a view of the outdoors, when I finally level off onto a single floor. There seems to be a variant of organic freezer and air conditioning which I am grateful for, and as I explore the room, I see an opening to the outside of the tree. A pavilion has formed on the outside of the tree, it is enclosed, and contains a rather comfortable bed with leaves for a blanket. And as I see the sun dipping, I decide to go to bed. The next morning I wake up to the cacophony of the spewing of seed gatling guns directed at something outside of my current residence. I walk downstairs to find that the people I met yesterday are being pelted with seeds from the gatling guns while yelling amongst themselves. I realize that I can open up the transparent bark partition and decide to. “Care to negotiate?” I ask. And I nearly instantly get a response.
“Yes, just call off the tree!” I do as such and they proclaim
“In exchange for giving us a faulty product, you have to give us a new batch of that venom in exchange, we will leave you alone.”
“No.” I respond before beginning to shut the window, but I am cut off by Lucia Page.
“Apologies for my party's rudeness, how about in exchange for a batch of Hemotoxin, we will deliver you the corpse of a large beast?”
“That is acceptable.” I state before entering the formula on my arm and fetching some vials the tree had made. I walk down, and open the door, handing off 12 vials of Hemotoxin before returning to my room where I continue to shape the tree with my will, something I found out I could do recently, creating a lab. The lab isn’t as good as I could have made with modern equipment, but the tree’s handiwork was still rather impressive. I had a large system of vials that I can simply slot into a slot and the wall and they will automatically sort, and recall themselves, permitting me to sit down and produce large quantities of various toxins, which I plan on selling. Later that night, I hear banging on the down, courtesy of my perception attribute, and I find a large, dead, corpse outside my front door. Good, they delivered on their promise. I think before pulling it into a small freezer I had made near the door, and I take genetic samples, slotting them into my Centrifuge. As that occurs, I get another notification, stating that I have more archite to use, and I swiftly put it to use expanding the tree into a shop, who knows, I might become the first pharmacist in the area. A monopoly on good poisons should give me a fair amount of trading power. The shop has a few nice features other than the storefront itself such as a recall feature from my lab to grab stock as well as effective plant-touch screens with lists of items that the shop sells and their pricing. The currency that I am deciding to use are dead beasts, with the quantity and size of the beast mattering more than level. And as I am setting up the shop I get a pleasant surprise. People are entering the shop. It's a group of 5 and two approach me, one I know of, one I don’t.
“Hello Edward.” My former superior states calmly, "as courtesy I will give you my class name and rarity before conducting business. My name is David Woods and my class is the mythic class, Information Manipulator. I wish to purchase 8 vials of neurotoxin, in exchange for the 2 large beast carcasses, along with cooking half of one for us for the sake of food."
"Sure" I state before grabbing 8 wooden vials from the retrieval system and butchering up one of the bovine creature’s carcasses that David provided before beginning to cook them over the grill of sorts that the tree had created.
