He found it quickly because he knew where to search for it,and he took some other things from there as well, like some gold and jewelry, his reasoning bing: "It's always better to have more than less Especially when it's about money".

When he first heard about the item he took it for a sham, the said item supposedly could teleport someone with just an incantation and little after effects like huge fatigue,but at this moment he didn't had any other option than to believe in the myth, or die at the hand of the hero or one of his knights.

After starting the incantation a strong piing began to hear around the palace resulting with the knights entering the room. He then saw that it was working, and for the first time in his life, he thanked God that the incarnation was short''Ecce dabo tibi et anima'' .

After he ended the incantation he found himself somewhere in the dark. he thought that the magic was a success and it had transported him somewhere in to a cave, but after a few seconds another light maybe stronger then the last one but this is heading towards him with tremendous speed. He tried to move but to no avail because after the teleportation he was exhausted of any kind of power and he simply stood there believing that the item worked but didn't transport him far enough and the knights found him and they came again after his head.

Little had he known about it, but the item not only had worked, but it had in fact ,transported him into another dimension, and what was approaching him was a truck, and not a group of knights with holy swords pursuing after him.The truck hit him with full force sending him flying 20 meters until he hit something and lost consciousness.
