Part 5

Herro?!?

The next day when he woke up, the first thing he did was ask Eunhee for permission to go out in town saying that maybe if he visited a lot of places he could remember some things from before. Why you ask, well, he told everyone that he has amnesia. It’s not like he could tell them that he came from another world and he is a demon.

She accepted because Min-seo would accompany him on the way. He had other things in his agenda though.He wanted to test his newly acquired information that he decided that he would test them on Min-seo.

After they left he thought about how to proceed with the plan. What he knew about her is that she was fresh out of college and had just began to work in the hospital when she met him. About what she liked, well she seemed to play a game called Royal Road. In fact almost all her free time was spent there. Something else she liked was heroes and she was excited when she talked about the game. But when she told a story about a heroic act she seemed like she sparkled. Because he still hadn’t regained his ability to speak he needed to find a way to make do without it.

She already seemed to like him and the easiest way to do it was by making her infatuated with him. But then something unfortunate or should I say lucky for him was about to happen. While walking along a park, a small girl around 8 or 9 years old was running after her ball in the street. Where a car was approaching her at high speed.

At first he didn’t want to save her but Min-seo who was beside him started screaming after she saw the kid. It was at that moment that some gears started to turn inside his head. He waited until the last moment when she was almost impossible to save. Then he jumped in front of the car, grabbed the girl with his arms and then let himself to be hit by it. Why you ask, well that was because he thought that this way had more effect on her then if he escaped without a scratch. Then Min-seo came running towards where he had fallen and started crying loudly while asking why would he do something like that. Jumping in front of a car when he obviously had no chance of escaping. At hearing that he thought that he achieved what he first wanted but that was not enough.

He even kept the little girl into his arms mimicking that he was unconscious until the ambulance was coming, then he released her because if the doctors saw him like that they would know that it was fake.After he was examined by the paramedic he was released on the spot because he only had some shallow wounds and scratches. But the one who was taken out on a stretcher was the driver who had his left hand and four ribs broken which was weird seeing the way the accident happened. What happened in fact was Valde.

Taking into consideration his personality, if he was going to be hurt he wouldn’t just let the opposing party escape like that. He in fact tried to go in for the kill by kicking the glass into the drivers face, but because the driver steered the car in the opposite direction at the right moment he escaped with his life.

After the ambulance left The child's parents came and thanked Valde for saving their daughter, the father who seemed to be someone important gave him a business card and left but not until he told him to visit him at another time because now he didn’t have anaf time, he had to be with his daughter.

Part 6

Satisfied

Valde put the matter on hold for now because he wanted more to see the fruits of his labor,and tough a bit excessive he was satisfied with the result.why you ask, well that was because after the medics ended treating his wounds Min-seo grabbed a hold of his unhurt hand and didn’t let go since, all the while speaking in very worried throne, almost crying.

“Please don’t do that anymore,you were lucky, very lucky to escape like that and i think it was wonderful that you could save that kid but, but what if you had died, tell me wouldn’t all that become meaningless, and I, … I don’t think I can stand the tough that right now you could be dead, You know I like you, I really like you a lot, when we first met, you were sleeping with your face is so peaceful that I didn’t think you would ever recover, though the doctors thought that you were a lost cause, I knew that you would recover because you didn’t look like someone who was about to die, and i know because i really see a lot of people in that situation at that hospital, and i was right, every single day you didn’t chase to amaze us with your recovery, then i began to sympathize with you, i wanted to see you get well as fast as possible,and because of that I started watching you very carefully, and as I observed you,I show everything, all of your movements, you're slight change in expression which otherwise would be to hard to see,and I may be paranoiac but the only time you were smiling was when you were with me, and when i thought that i wouldn’t be able to see that, I realized that what i was feeling for you wasn’t sympathy, not even admiration, but love.”

At that moment Min-seo was shocked, why, that was because Valde had in fact finally spoken after such a long time and was hard for her to understand.

After she finally regained her composure they continued to speak about one thing or another, and when they were almost to the clinic Valde said:

“I have a request for you, could you do me a favor?”

“Yes, just tell me, and I’ll see after if i can comply to it.”

“Could you not tell everyone that i can speak just yet ??

“Why would want to do that, wouldn’t it be better if you would tell Dr. Eunhee the truth?”

“True, but i need to do something first, and it can’t be done without.”

“Ok”

“As you wish my lady”Said Valde with an eerie smile on his face and let her go first inside.

He was joyful, i mean he had all the motifs in the world to be, first his experiment was a big success, and because of his permanent use of Charm he discovered he could use magic in this world too even if there was no outside way to replenish his Mana Plus he finally had his voice back, and that would mean that he could finally use his other skills though it didn’t seam he had any need for them in this world.After he got back to his room Dr. Eunhee came and told him that she had arranged for him to play a game, named Royal Road, not giving him any explanation, saying that finding out about it on his own was a real experience
