Chapter 13 - The Grind Begins! Part-2

{Somewhere outside the Tutorial Village}

Lukas looked at the figures in front of him carefully, the distance between them was more than 20m so he was easily able to see their arrows and dodge them. Their leader also realized this as she raised her hand to stop her companions from the continuous hail of arrows that they were dumping at Lukas.

'So that's their leader, well at least the fantasy writers got the beauty of their race right.' Lukas thought as he stared at her name and level first before taking in her whole figure.

...

[Cidera Pieldria lv 6]

Cidera stood proudly at around 5' 10'', her face was beautiful without any blemishes and her blue eyes shined with hostility. Her almost golden-blond hair looked soft and silky. If her hair weren't so alien and her ears weren't pointy she could have easily passed for a model or something. Along with that, the other reason she was different from fictional stories was the clothes she was wearing.

While most of the fantasies were slowly degenerated by humanity's need to sexualize things, Cidera wore a simple silk dress that was clasped to fit her frame with various small belts. It was like she was wrapped around in a bedsheet with small rubber bands holding her dress together.

Lukas's eyes moved to the rest of their group and they also wore similar clothing, even the men in their group had similar aesthetics.

'They don't have a tailor do they, each and every one of them is dressed the same with just different colors of cloth.'

Since it was Lukas's first time meeting a decent-looking species, don't even talk about the goblins. He took his time admiring the culture a little bit.

"Which race are you from," Cidera asked, she had already looked at the peculiarly dressed alien in front of her. At first, she thought it was a rogue elf that had killed their fellow members, so she gave the command to attack him on sight. But upon closer look, he was a lot different.

'Not just the clothes, the way he moved was too smooth, but maybe that is because he is higher leveled than us.' Cidera thought as a wave of anticipation about the future filled her. The elves were a warrior race, they didn't have discrimination between them as their bodies were born to be hunters.

With fast eyesight and quick movement speed, they were natural-born archers. The natural reliance on speed decreased the advantage that the males could have used if they trained in strength. But since their tradition is tailored more towards archery and even using shorter swifter blades for combat, their race didn't have a natural discrimination.

"I'm a human, a different race from a different plant," Lukas admitted easily, as long as both of their races were part of the integration Lukas had the confidence of always being ahead of them.

"I see..." Cidera replied, her thoughts bouncing between whether she should attack or not, but the man in front of her asked, "What about you, what are your people called?"

"We are..." Cidera was at a loss for words, "The overseer called us Forest Elves."

'So not advanced enough in curiosity that they started cataloging the species present on their planet. They seem faster for a bunch of level 3-4's as well so I'm thinking they developed more towards combat.' Lukas concluded.

"Did you go to the tutorial village?" Lukas asked, if they were lurking around here then his theory about the gate of each tutorial village made sense. Because it was the start of the new world, the tutorial gate worked as a transportation device that would send people of the same species to the same tutorial village.

'And send us back to the same starting line to keep the randomness of the world, stopping us from forming large parties and overtaking the world.' Lukas thought he was brought out of his thoughts when he sensed 3 more souls approaching him from behind.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

'Did their team split up and they have a way to communicate?' Lukas had checked his phone after entering the tutorial but it hadn't worked.

He waited for a few seconds before he jumped on a tree and looked behind him. After a few seconds another 3 elves were rushing in their direction, there was a small difference between the elves in front of him and the elves that were coming from behind him.

'Dark elves... wait would they be considered as dark elves or just elves? I'm pretty sure the black race would still be quantified as Humans right.' Lukas thought and then he dodged again as he jumped from one tree to another to avoid another hail of arrows.

'Is this their entire plan she was stalling?' Lukas thought but the blond elf easily denied it as she once again held her hand up and she stopped her team from firing more arrows.

Maybe it was his sudden movements that annoyed her but Cidera's face crunched up as she looked at the Dark elves that appeared from the other end of the clearing. The two sides looked like they were in a confrontation before Cidera spoke, "It's alright everyone calm down, we can talk peacefully."

A huff from the silver-haired elf clearly signified that she didn't like the plan but she still put her short sword away as she slowly walked towards Lukas.

Unlike the blond/golden-haired elf who was naturally busty, the silver-haired elf was naturally flat. Her skin was ash grey and her blood-red eyes were locked onto Lukas's figure.

"Hello ladies, no need to be so ruthless from the beginning," Lukas spoke casual nonsense as he scanned the levels of the new elf that had arrived. Along with the party of 4 from before now, he was facing a total of 7 members of a different race.

'Looks like they are in disagreement on how to deal with me.'

[Rhasari Creistrezith Lv - 5]

"Come down so that we can talk." The silver-haired assassin spoke as she looked at Lukas, her eyes were narrowed as she kept his attention focused on the dagger in Lukas's hands.

He shrugged and spoke, "I don't mind coming down, but looking at the aggressive look in your eyes if we aren't going back to the tutorial town to book a hotel, I'm not interested in fighting..."

...

'Huh, a silver blush, that's a first.' Lukas was surprised a silver hue appeared on Rhasari's cheeks. She looked flustered for a moment at the insinuation and Lukas wondered what the system translated his words to her as.

'How brash...how dare he speak so casually about something so sacred...' Rhasari bristled as she once again looked at the man who was covered in red blood. It was for this reason that Cidera had suspected him at first as well, the color matched the blood that flows in normal Forest Elves.

"Rhasari calm down and come here," Cidera ordered, Rhasari gave her a glare but their group followed and slowly mingled together. Lukas watched it all happen, if he wanted he could attack this small group right now, he probably wouldn't be able to finish them all now but he was confident he could escape.

"I'm sorry for the misunderstanding", Cidera spoke after a bit of silence, "We saw the blood on your clothes that matched that of a forest elf so we attacked. I hope because of this incident our races won't have a hostile relationship." She spoke sincerely.

'So they only attacked me because of the blood not my name being red...'

"What color do you see my name as?" Lukas asked curiously.

"White," Cidera asked with a puzzled expression.

'So that's how it works, but maybe only humans can see it, no that doesn't make sense, I killed the goblins so the goblins should see my name red as well. And so did the Thorld in the tutorial village...'

"If you see an elf or any other race with a red, that means that they have killed a fellow elf. We had a human who went on a rampage after getting access to a fire-based class, I'm tracking him down currently." Lukas spoke.

"Ah, I see thank you," Cidera replied, she hesitated and then spoke, "You might not be able to find them, as the teleporter attached to the gate sends us back into random places around the island."

'She voluntarily gave away information... she's more naive than I thought.' Lukas thought, earlier he was about to leave, but now he realized that since he was a lot stronger than them, leaving so early might not be the best idea, especially since the group had a naive leader.

He pretended to hesitate before he jumped down and walked a little closer, as he looked at Rhasari and Cidera's figures he couldn't help but imagine looking twice at their contrasting figures.

"Well... I vowed to our gods to avenge my fallen brother, that's why I left before the others to search... I have a special skill that allows me to know where everyone is in a 100m radius... if you want we can search together, you search for traitors of your race while I do the same with mine..."

...

Lukas gave them a small harmless smile, and his smile widened when Cidera nodded.

'Since they see my name turn red when I murder other races, sticking with them for a bit wasn't the worst idea.' Lukas thought as he sneaked a glance at Cidera's bust.

'Maybe I can get a chance to taste her too...'

He was a Psychopath, not a monster. Sex was a basic need that drove a huge portion of humanity to work...
