Dave was walking around the forest. He found a place to sleep for the next couple of days, he had no reason to leave this forest and he wasn't planning to do so any time soon. "If I visit a town and they found out I'm a person from another world they would probably take me to the queen, I have no interest in politics." Right now, the important thing was finding food, the supply that Hermes gave him wouldn't last forever, he would need something to eat, and fruits alone wouldn't cut it he needed some meat or fish. and just his luck, he was near a lake so that was the first thing he would try.
dave sat down on the water only in his underwear, he watched the fish swim past him, from time to time he would try to grab one but the fish were too fast for him, he had to come up with a different approach. he noticed a big fish that was lying on the bottom of the lake, he concentrated on the ground and imagined a box made of dirt. He put his hands on the ground near himself, channelling mana to the ground as he asked the system for help. but no answer came, maybe the system thought he didn't need help. Dave started to imagine the metronome playing at 80 bpm, he needed to be fast or the fish would run away before he could finish. He sat there quietly for a few seconds before he imagined the box being created, first were the walls to surround the fish, then came the roof, and after that came the floor, as dave opened his eyes he found that he was successful, he grabbed the box made of earth and picked it up. "that's heavy! Fuck, I forgot the box would be filled with water!" he carried it out of the water, telling himself that next time he should make a circle so he could roll it out of the water.
Once Dave was out of the water he put down the box and started looking for some dry branches and leaves to create a small fire, he might have magic but his magic was too small to cock the fish. after half an hour of searching, he finally gathered a big enough pile of wood. he took out the knife he got from Hemes and made a small hole to get all the water out, he could hear the fish splashing in the box without the water. once that was over Dave made a bigger hole and took out the fish, he grabbed a a branch he had sharpened with his knife earlier and stuck the fish in it. after he made sure the stick wasn't falling he lit the fire with his magic and waited for the fish to be cooked, how would he be able to know if it was cooked, he had a small trick he was planning on using, the identify spell. the identify spell should give him a simple description of the fish he was currently cooking.

Big Salmon: a fish that swims in a river. Raw.
he checked every few minutes and on his 3rd attempt, he finally got it! the description changed!
Cooked Big Salmon: a fish that swims in a river. It was cooked over a fire with no spices.
As Dave was blowing on his fish, trying to cool it down he heard a rustle coming from the bushes beside him followed by a "beahh" sound. it probably wasn't a human, maybe an animal, he couldn't be too careful he put the fish down and climbed a nearby tree, as he looked down at where he was a minute ago he saw a small fluffy sheep smelling the cooked fish. "sheep eat fish in this world?" he asked himself but the sheep didn't eat the fish, it just sat down near the warm fire and closed its eyes. "What is a sheep doing in a forest anyway?" As Dave slowly got down from the tree he decided to use the identify spell on the sheep, maybe it was actually a monster
Flueep: a Type of sheep monster that is harmless, farmers cut the monster wool and make clothing out of it.
Relief floods Dave as the system mentions the word harmless, the monster probably won't be able to hurt Dave. so Dave grabbed the knife, he probably wouldn't find another harmless monster like that, this was a chance to get more food, his hands were shaking as he got closer to the sheep. but he couldn't do it, the Flueep was just too cute. he sighed softly as a sudden idea appeared in his mind. "maybe I could tame it?"
