Have you ever wondered, what the beings called Devils are?

If you say they are the incarnation of demons and monsters than you are wrong.

If you say they are the manifestation of evil than you are half right.

If you say they are the embodiment of negativity then you are correct.

If some of you are thinking 'What the hell is this guy talking about?' then I will tell you.

When this story moves on to the next stage, I don't want any misinterpretation of the beings called Devils by this world’s standards.

In Grandia the Devils are not demons nor are they monsters, true demons are born from massive sinner’s souls and monsters are animals that contain large amounts of magic energy that cloud their minds and can use some magic.

Devils are also not the true manifestation of evil because that title belongs to the demons. Evil is divided into seven forms in this world; envy, anger, pride, lust, greed, gluttony, and sloth, but these forms of evil have another name and that... is [Self-destruction] because those who are evil will eventually be destroyed by their own doing. Since they can't stop committing these acts by themselves and that is where you get those hypocrites coming in to stop them from their deeds and only for them to do the same, but do you know why? It is because evil comes from instinctual desires and not intentional, but of their own desire to do these things and that is called Evil.

So in other words unlike the devils, the evil demons came from the desire of wanting more than one should ever have, but devils are an entirely different story because they have a goal that is not born out of desire but with an intention to destroy and torment everything in this world.

If demons represent self-destruction for their own doing, than the devils represent the pure madness to destroy everything in their way and creating paths of blood everywhere they go.

Since they are born out of pure negativity like madness, sadness, torment, hatred, malice, fear, despair and all forms of dark and chaotic emotions from all living beings. Because of this, they will only ever have intentions of destruction and torment for every living being that created them and eventually they will destroy themselves.

This is what you call a [DEVIL] in this world of Grandia.

OKAY! Since we got that introduction out of the way.

Let’s see what they are up to right now.

(Scene Change)

In the pitch black forest where everything is too dark to be seen with the naked eye.

A faint red glow illuminate this dark forest and one can hear a spooky laughter coming from that red glow.

The red glow is actually a communication crystal that connects to the [Abyss] where the devils are born and reside in.

The one who is holding this crystal is the golden gowned man from before.

Then suddenly the crystal made a brighter glow and a terrifying voice can be heard from it.

“Hahaha, you did really well [King of Betrayal] and as one would expect from the most cunning king out of all the [9 Abyss Kings] and I shall reward you for this achievement when you get back”(????)

“Thank you [Massacre Supreme-sama], I am deeply honored (devious smile)” (golden gowned man)

“None at all!! You did well because with the materials you requested from them to sell that feather we can begin the [Plan] on an earlier date than scheduled and since everyone is looking for that unknown owner of this feather, we can use this chance to move freely in the chaos to prepare for our [Plan]”(????)

“And when this [Plan] begins we can create our very own [Dimension Ruler] so that feather is completely worthless to us... but still I am very interested toward the individual who owns such unique feather because even I can't see the original owner of this feather and neither could we touch this feather without getting purified by it... even I don't dare touch it myself.”(????)

“Yes, indeed this feather alone is strong enough to destroy one of the devil generals, so I just can't help but wonder who that individual can be... Supreme-sama could this feather belongs to... to a…”(golden gowned man)(scare)

“No, this is not a [Dimension Ruler’s] feather because if it was then you would've have been annihilated the moment you touched it, so it is not there’s either but it isn't that far from their strength probably… well it is difficult to tell with only a feather, which we have not seen before and to know the individual who this feather belongs to is truly difficult.”(????)

“Well, in any case, come back and be ready to prepare your forces to invade the surface world in the years to come hahahahhah. I can’t wait to see those old geezers faces hahahahaha!!!”(????)

“Yes [Massacre Supreme-sama], I can't wait for that day as well(malevolent smirk)”(golden gowned man)

The devils are beginning to move and when their plan begins, all hell on this world will break loose, but what will our main do when that happens? Will she save it or... destroy the world herself.

In any case, this will not be good for this world’s inhabitants.

And here is a crappy poem I try composing for this situation

The devils plans are moving,

The plans of all are beginning to move,

The peaceful times are encroaching fast to the end,

The smell of blood is in the air,

The madness called war is coming,

The sky will turn crimson,

The oceans dark red,

The land scarlet and,

The world will be dyed the color of blood,

The war for blood is near,

The war that shall bring extinction to all is near and,

It is started by,

A rainbow feather. - Written by the Narrator
