At this time the mote just slowly embedded itself into the rock wall, forces of life and chaos washed across it surfaces and it grew. Over the course of a couple of decades it reached the size of a small ball bearing. As the time past the crust of the globe moved and all across the planet changed happened.
Mountains were raised in days,
Lakes and rivers were drained over hours.
Continents were flooded by the seas over weeks,
New lands emerged from beneath the seas over months.
Yet of all these changes none impacted the future of Earth as the crack that opened into the home of that mote.
Dungeons had become a common occurrence across the globe since the awakening. Embedded with Systems that generated simulations of life these were the best way to push the boundaries of what was safe for the dominate life forms that now inhabited Earth. They enabled the growth of levels and skills, while offering access to resources that were now nearly impossible to access from the wilds. Most dungeons that survived were clustered around various inhabited locations.
