Dear Readers,
I'm delighted to inform you that both "Vigil of Light" and "Burning Brightly" have been released! These two exciting books are now available for your reading pleasure. Please join us once again for Vina's epic adventure. I've provided some links below for quick access.
RoyalRoad apparently won't let me publish a chapter containing less than 500 words, so I've included the blurbs for Vigil of Light and Burning Brightly.
'Vigil of Light' is a gateway into the profound vision and aspirations Shan Esca had while crafting the leaders of The Watch. The poems serve as a poignant contrast, illuminating the gap between the idealized intentions of their creator and the complex realities they face in the series. This collection offers a unique perspective, enriching your understanding of The Twelve and adding depth to their already intricate world. For the fullest experience, it is recommended to read 'A Light's Hope' before delving into these poems. This precursor sets the stage, offering context and enriching your journey through 'Vigil of Light'. And once you've immersed yourself in these poetic reflections, continue the adventure with the next installment, 'Burning Brightly'.
In the wake of darkness, "Burning Brightly" opens to a world teetering on the edge of change. Vina, having faced the unimaginable depths of gloom, emerges with a newfound understanding of the world's intricate balance of power. But with great power comes great scrutiny, and the eyes of The Watch are ever-observant, their motives as enigmatic as the shadow that now holds her captive. As the world grapples with the unraveling of long-held secrets, Vina must navigate the perilous aftermath of choices made in the dark. With the natural order restored, once-immortal guardians face their mortality, and their wrath is as fierce as their fear. Vina finds herself at the heart of a looming conflict that threatens to engulf the world's protector and all she holds dear. The sequel weaves a tale of resilience and the relentless pursuit of hope, where memories long buried resurface to shape the future. As allies become adversaries and the line between right and wrong blurs, Vina must decide how much she’s willing to sacrifice to keep the light alive in a world desperate to maintain the status quo. Join Vina as she confronts the consequences of her actions and fights to preserve the delicate harmony of life in a world where every moment is precious and experience itself is a weapon.
The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

P.s. I still need another hundred words. Uhm... I guess I can ramble for a little while. It's been a long adventure writing Burning Brightly. The whole book now contains around 260,000 words across 500 pages. I managed to push so much content into the second book that I eventually overwhelmed google docs. It forced me to create a second document, essentially a part one and part two for the book. Okay twenty more words... sometimes writing is a little bit like this. You write a chapter and find out it is only 1200 words, and well that doesn't seem like a good chapter length. 3000 words is appropriate for a chapter in my experience, so I walk around and brainstorm ideas... and there we go 541 words. See you over there!
