Easter Special!

Abyss felt something hit his head before passing out. (Well… I need to move him to another setting.)

After an hour he woke up to discover that he was somewhere completely different. His surroundings were of trees and clouds. It was strange considering that clouds should be in the sky not on the ground but there were on the ground here. Moving over he placed his hand and made physical conduct. It was as if he was touching the softest of cotton causing him to want to bury his whole body inside.

He did! He threw himself into the cloud letting it swallow him with its vast soft texture. This was haven! If he was allowed to sleep on this cloud he might never wake up again. After letting his desire to touch such softness be satiated he forced himself to leave it returning to where he was.

In front of him was a giant egg. Walking towards it he tapped it at first but did not manage to get any response. He wondered what kind of creature laid this egg. The egg was decorated with a nice green design around it as if there were waves and a light blue at both the top and bottom. It was a beautiful egg.

Nonetheless he really wanted to know what was inside. Sure he could be called a murderer if it was the child of some creature but considering that it was right in front of him as a ‘gift’ he decided to break it open. That and if he was taken here it meant that it was food for whatever were to hatch from this egg. He was not prepared to become food for whatever it is.

Pulling his arm back he thrust it breaking the egg scalp. An incredibly sweet aroma exited the egg causing Abyss to drool unconditionally. Breaking the scalp that blocked his view he saw a tiny chocolate bunny at the bottom.

Grabbing it he ate it not caring of any of his previous thoughts. Upon placing it on his mouth the sweetness caused him to tear up slightly as if he was eating the most delicious candy ever. Looking at the sky he shouted “Sooooo Goooooooooood!”

After he finished swallowing it he looked around and had an idea. If there was a random egg here then there should be more somewhere else. He couldn’t hold his excitement inside. This place was truly mystical!

The trees were giving out a radiance filled with vitality and the clouds added a hint of mystery to whatever place he was at. The grass was large reaching his knees but did not inhibit his movements as if it made way itself to let him pass.

Abyss rushed towards a random direction in hopes of finding another egg. The same scene was seen in several places.

Bowsette who was initially relaxing in her castle was suddenly transported into this place. She was furious causing her to instantly destroy the egg out of rage. This though let out the smell of heaven and upon tasting the chocolate she was consumed with a single thought “Too delicious! I need more! It is all mine!”

She rushed breaking trees that stood in her path to search for more eggs with the divine chocolate that should have never existed.

Similar to Bowsette Maria and Luigina found themselves in the forest. Maria looked around with curiosity as she asked herself and her sister “Where are we?” Luigina was somewhat frightened at the sudden change of location. He hugged her sister and asked “Maria where are we?”

It was not that she was not paying attention but she was too frightened to think clearly. Maria sighed and said “I don’t know but there are two eggs in front of us. Maybe they hold answers.”

Maria walked over to one of the eggs and jumping on it she smashed the top by stomping it. She rebounded a bit higher in the air before falling down to the ground. The smell did not escape her notice causing her to have saliva build up in her mouth instantly.

Nonetheless she was a hero that saved her princess countless of times. She had a certain degree of self control of herself even if she was headstrong in personality.

Walking over she looked inside seeing a chocolate bunny. Luigina that was previously frightened was looking at the chocolate bunny like a starve person as she asked “Maria can we eat it!?” Maria grabbed it taking a bite she couldn’t help herself from shoving the rest into her mouth. The taste was just too extraordinary to resist.

Luigina was temporarily saddened by this but she quickly jumped onto the egg next to her and grabbed the egg and ate it. She too fell in love with the flavor that was too sweet to be true.

Maria and Luigina looked at each other with mutual understanding. Maria spoke first “We need to find more.” Luigina nodded her head vigorously shouting “Yes!” Before running of Maria said “Maybe with this I can gain Peach’s affection and you Daisy’s.”

Luigina froze as she started to slightly blush thinking of handing the heavenly good to her and receiving a heavenly kiss. Nodding her head she said eagerly “We should hurry!” Maria did not complain as both rushed deeper into the forest.

Abyss had already broken a good dozen eggs and devoured their chocolate bunnies before rushing off to the next. This time though he was shocked at what he saw. “Bowsette!? Why are you here!?” Bowsette noticing Abyss gave a nasty grin as she said “To claim what is mine!”

Abyss eyes directed themselves to the egg then at Bowsette who did the same thing. They glared at each other as silent fell upon the place. Suddenly a small breeze passed by and both rushed madly towards the egg! Abyss slid down kicking the egg to the side while tripping Bowsette. Getting up Abyss laughed as he said “The chocolate is mine!” Bowsette angrily roared “Never!”

Soon Abyss was being chased for holding onto a chocolate bunny which he ripped out of the egg he kicked. Bowsette was spewing flames towards him hoping to hit him but unfortunately for her Abyss was quick to dodge them. Reaching the top of the hill that both of them were racing on Abyss saw another egg. Without hesitation he jumped onto the egg and road it down the hill.

Bowsette growled as gave a strong kick to the ground causing cracks to appear and sending her flying towards a tree wish she stomped. The tree being unable to bear such a powerful kick from Bowsette snapped in three. The tree trump and top of the tree were left behind while Bowsette road the trunk down like a snowboard. Abyss was shocked seeing Bowsette still chasing after him.

Nonetheless he focused on escaping. Bowsette though was raging as she kicked the ground to push her speed further. It did not take long before she caught up to Abyss and began attacking. She tried to claw him and trip him with her tail but Abyss ducked her claws and jumped over her tail avoiding falling off.

The battle continued for a few seconds before Abyss who was forced to ducked a fireball saw Bowsette eat a branch to the face knocking her off the trunk. Being unable to hold down his laughter his laughter exploded as he shouted “That’s what you get!”

As if the world heard him he was suddenly struck at the back of his head by a branch causing him to fall off the egg he was riding. Bowsette laughed seeing this before she mocked him “Spoke too soon huh!” Abyss felt upset but nonetheless he had a victory item that declared him the victor of the argument.

Pulling out the chocolate he got previously he ate it in front of her. Bowsette exploded in rage as she rushed towards him wanting nothing more than rip the chocolate bunny out of Abyss stomach. Abyss though ran away laughing trying to catch up to the egg he lost track of when he was knocked down by the branch.

During this time Maria and Luigina managed to find 7 eggs. Maria had saved 2 chocolate bunnies while Luigina saved 3. The rest were eaten by them since they couldn’t bear giving them all up. They were now searching for more eggs until one rolled their way. Maria smiled as she said “My luck seems to be good today.”

She spoke too soon as Abyss at the other side. He was surprised seeing them as he asked “What are you girls doing here!?” Luigina was the first to speak anxiously “We are collecting the chocolate bunnies to give to Peach and Daisy.”

Abyss looked at the egg then them. He grinned mischievously as he said “Don’t you mean me? Don’t worry I will get it!” Abyss rushed towards the egg shocking them. Abyss grabbed the egg and sprinted off. Maria and Luigina finally recovered from the shock of the events.

Maria screamed in fury “Thief! Give it back!” She ran after him with Luigina shouting behind Maria “Yeah! Give it back!” Bowsette soon joined the group shouting “It is all mine!” Abyss laughed crazily as he continued to escape his pursuers. It took 10 minutes before Abyss reached the end of his escape.

In front of him was a giant lake that was swirling towards the center as if it was a giant whirlpool. He froze not knowing what to do. Just as he thought of running to another side he felt 3 bodies crash against him causing all of them to fall into the water. A large battle began in the swirling lake as Abyss, Maria, Luigina, and Bowsette struggled furiously to pull the egg to themselves.

5 minutes later Abyss did something that no one expected. He punched the egg and stole the chocolate bunny right in front of them again! Abyss raised the bunny and roared “It is mine!” before suddenly realizing that something went terribly wrong. He felt everything rise as he suddenly sunk! The girls screamed noticing that they had suddenly reached the center of lake where there was no escape.

Even Bowsette with her powerful body found herself helpless as she sucked inside screaming “Noooooo!” Maria and Luigina did not fair any better as they shouted “Not yet!”

Abyss suddenly woke up with a start. His body was completely wet and he was in his room. Looking around he was surprised but then he felt something on his hand. Looking over he grinned noticing it was the chocolate bunny he stole from the girls. He chuckled as he said “I will keep you for a souvenir.” He walked over to the kitchen and placed it in the fridge.

Honestly the chocolate was delicious but if he had to choose between his memories of the whole events and the taste of the chocolate he would honestly prefer to keep his memories intact rather than the taste of the chocolate. This though did not mean he would refuse the taste of the chocolate if he was allowed both.

Moving his hand he grabbed inside the pocket of his pants before pulling out 5 chocolate bunnies! He grinned mischievously as he said “I better enjoy these gifts of Maria and Luigina got for me before they change their mind."

Abyss was the eventual winner of the Easter Chocolate Bunny Search Competition.
