The road brought the adventurers to the village of Elthauk, stalked by one of the most vicious monsters that plague the outskirts of civilization, a manticore. The champion graciously took upon the quest of slaying the beast, but that alone was not enough to rid the people of Elthauk of their troubles. The adventure came here close to stopping for good, if not the sharp wit of the hero.
