The next day he woke up, prepared for the day, and decided to head out.
He knocked at Misumi's door and told her he'd be waiting downstairs, and he went to sit down in the waiting room. Within about 5 minutes he saw her come down the stairs looking stunning as always.
"Would you like to go and get some breakfast before we head out?" he asked.
She nodded and they went to the tavern where they enjoyed a nice breakfast. Hisoka decided that he would need a map to find a suitable area to train undisturbed, and went to the general store to purchase a map of the area. It was pricy at 50 silver, the problem with the maps being they are drawn by hand and there is no printing press for production or aerial photography for the accuracy. He paid for the map as well as some dried food for the day, and they went to the Polaris.
The sleek-looking rugged doorless vehicle sat in an abandoned hay shed a little ways from the inn, covered in a sheet. He removed the sheet revealing it to Misumi with a look on his face that practically screamed "Ta-dah!" She was confused seeing the oddly shaped wheeled thing, but Hisoka gestured for her to get in the passenger seat before getting into the driver's seat. She still looked rather confused and he chuckled when she was startled by the sound of the engine turning on.
"What is it?" she asked timidly.
"This is a vehicle from the land I come from. It is called a "car." It uses a fuel combustion engine to propel itself forward, I couldn't tell you much more than that as I'm not an expert in this field nor have I studied it that much," Hisoka explained.
He drove the car from the shed and followed a mostly unused backroad to leave the town. When they had put some distance between them and the town, he stopped to check the map he had purchased. He scanned the map before spotting a forest that looked as good a place as any. He looked for landmarks around them to get his bearing, before setting off. The Polaris didn't need to use the road, it was a 4x4 that could handle the grassy plain perfectly fine. They drove for about 10 minutes before they finally reached their destination. He drove into the forest a good bit so that a passerby wouldn't notice their vehicle before he stepped out.
"The reason we came here is so that I could teach you to use this," he paused as he drew the Sig from the bag of holding, "This is a firearm. It uses propellant to fire a metal projectile forward at very high speeds. With this weapon, you should easily be able to put down almost any human target, depending on their level of armor," he explained.
He proceeded to show her how to load a magazine, chamber a new round, remove the safety, and the proper way to grip the weapon to fire. Not wanting a negligent discharge and someone getting hurt accidentally, he gave her a long lecture about proper firearm safety. Mostly basic stuff like "always treat it as if it is loaded," "muzzle awareness," "never put your finger on the trigger till you're ready to shoot..." the fundamentals, however, he drilled them into her mind. Satisfied that she had absorbed his teachings, he handed her the firearm and a magazine.

She fumbled a bit but after a few tries and some more guidance, she had readied a round in the chamber. Hisoka had bashed a mark into a tree with a rock to suffice as a target for the time being if nothing else just to mark the tree itself as a target. He then instructed her to aim and shoot, and they continued this ritual until the mag ran dry. After observing the way she fired the gun, he was ready with some bits of guidance for the next round. He instructed her to release the magazine and hand it back to him, and he traded it for a fresh magazine.
For the next few hours, he religiously trained her with the firearm, to the point where she was making 2-inch groupings on the tree at 10 meters. When they had depleted the ammunition that he had summoned (he was sure to leave 3 magazines in reserve,) he instructed her on the proper takedown and care for the weapon. After she had cleaned the weapon properly, they got back into the Polaris and drove back to the inn.
She had a look of fire in her eyes, she through his guidance had become adept at using the weapon he called a "Sig" and was fairly confident in her ability to defend herself, and maybe even him if it came down to it. They returned to the inn with high spirits and returned to their rooms. As he was about to head inside his room she stopped him by tugging on his sleeve. She looked him in the eyes with a face that showed a strong resolve and told him,
"Thank you...", "Thanks to you I have the strength to fight again, in fact with this weapon, I have far more strength then I could ever achieve otherwise," she said sincerely.
He could tell something was bugging her from within, as even though her face showed her resolve her eyes shone darkly as if remembering dark memories. He didn't wish to press the issue, as it would be better to wait for her to tell him when she was ready than to pressure her for answers now. He put on a sincere smile and told her,
"It was the least I could do, after all, you decided to stick around with a guy like me," he said with a sincere smile.
She slightly blushed and he wished her goodnight before retiring to his room.
He stared at the ceiling for a while thinking. The topic on his mind as per usual was of course what weapon to summon. He had since decided it would be a waste not to use his daily summon, as a stockpile could come in handy eventually. Not only that but he needed to replace his rifle. He finally settled on an AR-style SBR with Magpul furniture. To keep things simple for the time being he decided to summon one with carrying handle sights, figuring eventually he would gain access to optics.
He watched the familiar white blob form into a sleek looking rifle, and 3 magazines. He noticed a large decrease in the ammunition the weapon came with but attributed it to the new capabilities of summoning ammunition. He still had 5 STANAGs hanging on his plate carrier, so it wouldn't turn out to be a problem anytime soon. He stowed the rifle and the additional magazines in the bag of holding and went to bed thinking of plans for tomorrow.
