I’d awoke with a slight jolt, completely confused and thrown out of the loop of everything as to what was happening. Everything around me was fuzzy but slowly beginning to come into view. I’d hover my hand around the material on the ground to try to identify my surroundings.
Something a little wet, but also rugged. And not too far from it, something hard and incredibly rough in texture, a tree?
Pushing myself up and off the floor, I’d now finally take in where I was.
A forest, a massive one, most likely slightly out of distance from any of the main stream cities. It was beautiful, lush green trees filled the surroundings and gentle brown leaves and bark surrounded the ground below me. It was massive, with the whole area stretching farther than I could possibly see.
It was so beautiful I had almost forgotten that I literally died, got pulled out of death, got handed some strange things and shoved back into my body.
Shaking my head I’d now fully realize that all of those things happened, checking out my profile to see what had become of me.

I face palm at the sight of these depressing stats. It took me years to climb up as high as I did and now I have to work from the bottom up…And that ability is confusing! How am I supposed to make it anywhere?!
Though, I suppose I can’t complain, I was given a second chance after all, I shouldn’t waste it.
First things first, beyond anything else I should probably get myself out of this strange forest. For the moment it was pretty nice the more time progresses out here I’m beginning to get the creeps…
I walked around for a little bit, crossing through the lush natural world the forest had created, quickly separating bushes and leaves of which were in my way as I quickly got closer to the exit.
I’d run into a few lower tier critters, mainly maintaining my distance and passing by without creating any sort of conflict towards them, after all at this moment I could be soloed by anything in a mere moment.
The clothes I’d worn were peasant like, rags, in tatters, etc. Whenever I was on the verge of casting my strange ability, a dice would appear in my hand, basic looking, but I don’t think that was the full extent of it.
After a few hours had passed with no avail to finding the exit, I’d decided to settle down at a nearby river.
I’d stare into my own reflection before dipping my hands into the river, washing my face and hair.
Id notice a small stone ledge sitting in the middle of the river, I’d leap into the water, swimming over to the ledge and climbing atop it, from here the trees cleared revealing the bright, star filled sky. I’d merely gaze up into it, reflecting.
Why me of all people? What was even happening?
However I’d find this answer, I would. Even if I had to become the number 1 ranked Hero in the entirety of the word.

My eyes would shoot back towards the river as small bubbles would begin to pop up from the water.
Uh oh.
In the next passing moment, a gargantuan serpentine monster would arise from the water. It would burst through the surface of the river with a powerful roar, its skin was covered in scales, and its eyes were yellow with no solidified pupils, no clear sense of sight. It stretched high into the abyss of space, probably as big as a building or more.
”Knew something was up with this forest…” I’d grumble, suddenly, the serpentine beast would alter its route, now swerving the entirety of its body as it’d cruise through the air, opening its jaw to reveal multiple sharp teeth, only giving me moments to see its stats.

I’d only have a moment to grasp what information I could before the beast would completely crash through the stone structure, momentarily disorienting me as I’d fall into the river with a loud splash. I’d end up on an isolated slightly sizeable piece of debris, looking ahead.
”A class A monster…I just got revived and I’m about to die again?!” I’d mutter, the river would be actively carrying the stone floor I was on, I seemed to be heading towards something, but it was far, so I wasn’t able to quite tell what I was approaching.
In the meantime, Ness’ or whatever this monster was called was rushing towards me, bursting across the river with intense speed, diving into the water before momentarily resurfacing.
”OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD” I’d panic, running towards the opposite side of the stone floor as the monster would crash down, shattering the side I’d just barely evaded.
Skill Activation, Razor Twister Thrasher (A)
Ness’, activating its ability would suddenly rapidly rotate, launching itself towards me ripping apart its surroundings, I’d quickly raise my arm for a block, my arm would suddenly gash out with blood, that things skin felt like multiple daggers simultaneously ripping into me!
I’d just barely leap onto another piece of flowing debris as we’d get closer towards the end of the river. The piece I was initially on would be ripped apart by Ness’.
The serpent beast would quickly recuperate, leaping back towards me, it’d continuously spam the move, drilling into each of the individual pieces of stone I was repeatedly leaping onto to get farther and farther from it.
Each time, it’d get closer and closer, scratching me up even more.
Secret Skill Activation, Dragon Serpent Energy Breath
I’d turn towards the “end” of the river realizing it lead into a plummet downwards, it was a waterfall! Not only that, the creature was activating that special move said to be undiscovered in its description. Without paying attention, the piece of debris I was sitting on, alongside me, would completely fly off of the water fall.
The creature would follow, leaping off of the rather tall ledge, opening its tall mouth, a strange yellow beam would be building up inside it, condensing, seemingly preparing to shoot towards me.
”Now or never…” I’d whisper to myself, bringing out the small dice for my ability.
Glitched Skill Activation, Infinity Gamble!
Id toss the dice into the skies, suddenly, it’d crack, gaining a galaxy type pattern all over it, the dice would gain more and more sides, exploding into a broken sort of infinitely sided illusion. Seeing it alone skewed my ways of seeing everything, and for a moment everything around it completely slowed down.
A holographic panel would appear before me, similar to a lottery game, different skills would be swiping past my face until the spin would slowly descend onto one particular skill…

The dice would then go on to completely explode. It’d burst off into miniscule fragments, reflecting infinite sides, constantly changing and swapping the symbols laying on top of them, before burning out into ash.
Everything I was perceiving around me as far as I was concerned was still incredibly slow. I’d drift through the air ever so slowly. Despite my first time ever really recognizing the ability I felt as if I’d known what I had to do.
Raising my palm to the sky, the flashing lights above provided by the stars would be dragged from space into my very hands, creating an extremely bright pillar of light of which would rapidly transform into a bow and arrow.
Id drag the arrow of light backwards, facing the monster ready for an ultra intense clash.
BOOOOOOOOOM!
Both attacks released, creating a massive explosion of which could be visible throughout the entirety of the forest.
Id collapse onto the floor, seemingly having made it back onto land. Thats good.
