Kyoya clearly saw the guy wheezing. He had taken a kick to the head, and more than a dozen to the arm or torso.
Yet his opponent still rushed at him.
Kyoya frowned. The next time that guy tried to gap close, Kyoya will use it.
*Bam!*
The fighter was stopped in his track. He felt an impact on his thigh but didn`t really see what happened. So he tried again.
*Bam*
Kyoya`s cut kick struck the thigh as his heels sunk deep into its flesh.
The guy charged, and was knocked away. Over and over.
“You should surrender.” Kyoya spoke through the bandana.
“No! I`ll never surrender!”
And he ate another leg kick.
“Arghhh!”
The fighter used all of his remaining strength to run at Kyoya. The combined force from his charge and Kyoya`s kick struck his thigh like a sledge hammer, bending his body forward. Kyoya flicked his left hand and bashed the guy`s chin. He slumbered. A purple mark was starting to take color on his thigh.
“Must… Win… The money for her…” [his girlfriend lol]
He slowly crawled up.
“Fucking sissy!”
“Can`t even beat a little fucker!”
“Get me down there and I`ll mess this triple stripe dude up!”

“Finish him off with a flying kick already!”
In the midst of all the yelling, Kyoya only heard what the guy mumbled. He swallowed, and turned to the MC-referee:
“I forfeit.”
“WHAAAAAAT?”
And he walked off the ring.
“Cheh. This kid still needs training.” Boris sneered.
“Certainly does. Don`t worry, I will apply just the right amount of pressure.”
Later, at the gambling table, Kyoya met Celestyna to get his payment.
“Anou… Did you miscount?”
“Huh?” She made an innocent face.
“There`s only 10.000¥… This is too little…”
“Well you lost, didn`t you?” Her pupils widened.
Kyoya looked at her, but avoided her eyes. Then he nodded.
“And you should know the way home now. Safe trip.”
“Eh… by myself…?”
“Certainly.” She answered with a big smile.
“I… I…”
“What is it, Kyoya-kun?”
“N-No… Thank you.”
He went and changed his clothes. If Kyoya took a normal train home, it would take too long and his mother might be suspicious. So he bought the express ticket, spending most of what he earned. Sitting on the carriage, a conversation caught his attention.
“Damn triple stripes bastard. Ruined my day. I was betting so high on him!”
“Fucker is wrong in the head. Still, most martial artists act that way. He`s skilled, I`ll give you that.”
“Fucking kicking and jumping around. Kuso! That reminded me of that cocksucker from the gold transaction near the airport. He fucking broke my arm!”
Kyoya`s pupil widened.
“Same. The bastard fought more than 40 of us with a fucking rebar. Can`t believe how a guy thin as a tree made me run and cry like a schoolgirl. Fucking bad memories.”
This was too much information for a coincidence. Kyoya`s fists clenched. Inside his mind, an enormous tornado was approaching a towering rock cliff. Sharp gusts screeched on the jagged stone surface, wailing words that described whatever actions he wanted to do. Yet, a giant hand plunged from the sky and completely killed the vortex.
“Shounen… Shounen! Are you ok?” A terrified voice asked.
Kyoya snapped out of the trance and realized he had been choking himself. Coughing and gasping for air, he looked around to find everyone staring at him as they shook in fear.
“I`m… Fine.” His voice became gruff.
The middle-aged man jumped backwards.
“O-Oh… Is that s-so… G-Good then…”
The bell signaling the arrival at Kyoya`s station ringed. People moved away from him wherever he walked, and if he hadn`t got down, everyone else would`ve. Back at home, Kyoya ruthlessly whacked the dummy until Kura scolded him. The boy showed her an emotionless face, before continuing with abdominal exercises. He trained all night, to the point that his body refused to move.
Even then, he still had the strength to grind his jaws against eachother. Hard.
