Kuragami and Sasaki both get ready to go out.

In the Space Section, Daku is sitting on the top of a hill. A bright eclipse is showering the continent.

“I can’t lose. Pops said they’re all counting on me. People I’ve never met before. People I don’t believe exist.”

“Your pumped up for today Daku, aren’t you?”

Daku looks back. It's Hoshiko. She sits down next to Daku.

“So you’re going to prove to everyone you’re the strongest. You have a plan?

“Of course. I’m going to get a guaranteed 200 points.”

“200? Eh?”

She smirks.

“That means taking down four Prodigy Disciples.”

Daku looks at Hoshiko.

“Why would you assume you were safe too?”

Hoshiko gets angry. But she has a smile on her face.

“I guess being on the same team means nothing to you.”

“You’re only using me to get to the ones who killed your pops. Don’t believe what mine says. I’m not chosen to do anything.”

The skirmish is being held on Minima Island. Minima is not like a regular island, it’s much smaller than usual.

For each day of the week, there will be one skirmish. Meaning there’ll be 7 different skirmishes this week.

All the shorai are in a hall in Minima Island. All the shorai are either excited or nervous. Everyone is wearing bracelets.

The Prodigy Disciples are together as a five. Hoshiko enlightens them with information.

“Did you know there’s other Prodigy Disciples for the other skirmishes.”

Kuragami makes a noise surprised.

“And here I thought we were special. Not only that, there’s other skirmishes.”

Hoshiko chuckles.

“We are special. Though I do wonder.”

Daku gets interested.

“What?”

“How strong are the others compared to us?”

The speakers turn on.

“Oi Kenji. Did you turn the speakers on yet?”

“Yes. They can all hear you Ruri.”

“Oh really? You should’ve told me. I got family listening.”

Sasaki looks irritated.

“Hey cute little Shorai. Number 2 Kizoku here. They told me to tell you a few things on how this is gonna work so, here I am.”

Kuragami gets ready and smiles.

“So as you know there’s around 500 of you here. The normal ones are worth 5 points and the Prodigy’s are worth 50 blah blah.”

“Do it properly, Ruri.”

Ruri mimics him.

“Okay, Keikena. Anyways, as I was rudely interrupted, I’m gonna talk about what those bracelets you have on. As you can see, perfectly designed by a beloved scientist, inside that little glass dome in the middle is a bit of your aura. Any time you eliminate someone from the skirmish, their glass dome will break and their aura will fly to your dome. Once that happens, points will get added to your score.”

Daku looks at Kuragami. Kuragami looks back at him.

“Just so you know, times have changed. If I was you, I would be as aggressive as possible. Try get as many points as possible. Because top 10 are rewarded nicely. Them and their team.”

They all hear her chuckle.

“You could get some real good opportunities with the nobles. I can picture some of you serving kingdoms. Hell you can even run one!”

“Be realistic to them.”

“Oh yeah this is the wrong group. Hi Yuma’s little brother!”

Everyone looks at Kuragami. He’s clearly embarrassed.

“So other than that. Have fun. This island is well protected by some Takai and all us Kizoku so don’t worry. This will be broadcasted to all the nobles in the world too. So even if you don’t make it to top 10 and you look promising out there, you still have a chance. That placement just guarantees you meeting some of them.”

“One last thing I’ll say is, don’t kill each other out there.”

The speakers cut. Everyone starts speaking again. Until a few moments past, and everyone’s bracelets are glowing.

Cherry looks at Homura scared.

“Homura…it’s time.”

Kuragami looks at everyone around. He sees Cherry from a distance.

“She’s worried.”

Cherry feels like someone’s looking at her so she looks around. She sees Kuragami and smiles. Kuragami cheeses.

“See. There’s nothing to worry about Cherry.”

Everyone disappears.

Kuragami’s suddenly in the middle of a forest. He looks around.

“Where the hell am I? Is it starting?”

The speakers turn back on.

“The Shorai Skirmish, be prepared for the biggest fight of your lives.”

Kuragami senses multiple sources of aura around him.

“The Skirmish starts in 3…”

Sasaki brings out his sword. Cherry inserts some of her aura in her branch.

“2…”

Homura raises his aura and covers his fist with his flames.

“1…”

Kuragami raises his aura. Some ice starts to form in the area around him.

“I’ve trained so hard for this. I won’t lose, not to Homura, Sasaki, Isamu, Hoshiko, anyone!”

“Go berserk!”

Multiple explosions from all around the island are formed.
