Chapter 1

My head…. what is this dizziness. Slowly, I lift my eyelids up and saw the scenery around me. A dark rocky surrounding. With an eerie atmosphere with it, I am probably in a dark cave. I was lying on a hard rocky floor before my consciousness came back to me.

[Where….the heck is this?]

Looking around the surrounding, I can only see dark-blue rock which is randomly arranged to the wall. I was confused. I can’t remember anything at all. While holding my head, I staggered before I be able to stand up properly. It seems I can’t even remember my name and my origin. I don’t know who I am and I also don’t know where I am. Isn’t this bad?

[But… even though I am experiencing a memory-loss,, it seems my head can still think logically.]

Am I a smart person before this? Though this is not the time to pondering about this.

[I am strangely…. calm.]

There is no anxiousness or any panic feeling in me. I am calm. Is that weird?

[Let’s just leave it be. There’s no point thinking something that can’t be resolve for now.]

It would probably be a good idea to know where I am. And while thinking, I look around my surrounding again.

[.………..This is a pretty scary place.]

Contradicting to what I say, I’m strangely calm. This is weird, I should feel scared or at least feels a bit panic aren’t I?

[What happen…..seriously…]

With a deep sigh, I look at my palm. I also look at my body which is pretty well build. I don’t know about my height, but looking at this body I probably around 18-19 years old. I have a pretty solid muscles all around and seemingly my abs is pretty hard and well-trained. Maybe I’m an abs sucker before? And it’s really lucky that I still has my pants on me. Though it’s a bit ragged. I move around to test my body.

[Wow, what a nice body. It feels like my strength is boundless!]

Excitedly, I run around, jump around and start shadow boxing with my arms. My body feels light and I can feel boundless energy in this body.

[What is this…. am I a warrior or something?]

After finishing a bit warm up, I look around again. There is no passage. No place to go. It’s like this cave is a confine place. But that can’t be right? If it’s a confine place, how did I get in here in the first place.

[Fall? No that’s not it, there’s no hole or any passage on the ceiling.]

Then how did I appeared here?

It’s bad if I keep being in here. There’s not even a single living organism. How do I get out from here? While pondering about this, I slowly walk to the rocky wall. I touch the rock around the wall and feel it’s property.

[What a rough texture. And it seems hard? Or not?]

I can’t determine the hardness on the wall because of my strength. My instinct told me that I probably can crush the wall easily, but I can’t determine the hardness by this. Thinking about my stupidly powerful body, I can’t determine the hardness. It might be easy for me to break it, but what about other people, did they have the same body like me? Or am I different? Strangely, it’s like there is a safety mechanism in my head which always give me a reminder of being careful.

[ No use thinking about it.]

I pull my right arm towards my back and strongly clench my hand, storing some strength to this arm, I throw it out to the wall.

*CRASH*

In an instant, the wall crumbled easily into fragment.

[Well that was easy.]

After clearing the dust around me, I see a huge space in front of me. The surrounding is covered by dark-blue rock and has the same atmosphere as the confined space where I was lying before. But strangely at the middle on the this huge space, there’s a pedestal.

The pedestal has a very beautiful carving in the form of flowers. And at the middle of it, it has a carving of a….. snake? No, snakes doesn’t have that kind of head, the head seems to resembles a crocodile only it seems to be more menacing with a very scaly body. The thing that mostly differentiate it with a crocodile is the horn that stuck on it’s head. The horn isn’t sharp, but it’s blunt and have a few small branches around it, more like a tree. It’s mouth widely open, showing it’s ferocious teeth. What an incredible detailed carving. And what kind of animal is that? Finally, my eyes stop at the top of the pedestal.

[What is that?]

I saw a sleek sword. The sword has a very thin blade with a strange tip. And anyone can guess the sharpness of the sword by just looking at it. It’s not even stabbed deeply into the pedestal, but only the tip of it. Yet, it can stand up without any movement.

[What the hell is this?]

Intrigued by the sword, I slowly walked towards the pedestal. Every steps I take make my emotions rumbled and my instinct trying to stop me from touching it. I don’t know why, but every time I looked at this sword, there seems like a poke in my head. Something that trying to force itself into me. Something that is trying to awaken something in me. And without realizing it, on my hand is.

The sword which is sleek and beautiful is slowly being embraced by me. The hilt is covered by numerous black scales which even for me, doubt that I can pick it off easily. I hold the sword with comfortable feeling and touch it’s blade. The smooth texture of the blade made me feel strangely satisfied without knowing why. This is my partner. The katana, .

A white space. It has nothing in it. The space seems to be endless without any end. It doesn’t have the sense of emptiness yet it is empty.

At the middle of the white space, a young girl who is floating without any life suddenly give a reaction. Her fingers tremble one by one. Her seemingly emotionless face suddenly has a trace of liveliness on it. Her pure black hair which covering her whole body slowly goes down appearing to take orders from the young girl. Even with both of her eyes is closed, her face shows an expression of joy and excitement. Her long silky eyelashes trembled for a moment, and slowly, the eyelid open by the will of the girl, showing her charming ruby eyes. The pupil flicker with happiness and excitement. Her whole body shivers for a few moment and when it stop, her small mouth open with the lustrous pinky lips.
