"Finally." A stone spike then forms from the ground and impales the goblin that Aariv had hypnotized, causing some of the goblin's blood to splat onto his feathers.
Defeated [Goblin] - Lv. 12.
Experience is awarded.
"Now that's taken care of, there shouldn't be any trouble with people trying to kill the moment they spot," Aariv said. "Though, now I need to clean the blood off my feathers, which will take a long time."
He spread his wings and was about to take flight before he was startled by a loud roar.
"RRROOOAAARRR!"
"...The fuck?" Aariv then heard screaming and yelling, the ground then proceeds to shake beneath him. "You know what? I'm not gonna get involved with that!" He yells.
He took flight trying to get as far as away from noises as possible. The earth cracks open and spikes shot out of the ground, some nearly impaling him. Aariv spotted other monsters and animals running aways from spikes and ravines that were forming.
Forest foxes were jumping from branch to branch, fanged rats scurrying away from what was happening, horned rabbits hopping as fast as they could, nearly everything in the forest was trying to get away, with some unlucky souls getting killed.
And the roaring was still going on and the roaring was causing his ears to ring.
Then...Just as sudden as it had started, it stopped. The ground stop shaking and splitting apart, stone spikes stopped forming, and the roaring stop.
"...Huh? It just stops?" Aariv questions as he looks around. Corpses litter the ground, trees were ripped out of the ground, ravines and stone spikes were everywhere.
He was confused but didn't let his guard down. After all, this forest had been full of unpleasant surprises ever since he woke up here.
And once again, the ground began to shake beneath the tree that Aariv was standing on, alarming him. The owl nearly lost his balance and fell off the branch he was perching on. After he regains his balance, Aariv spotted a tiny speck of blue that was blue that was growing bigger and bigger.
Soon, Aariv could see that the speck of blue was the aura of a human, male, who was bloody, and face twisted with fear. He could see that the aura wasn't just blue but had a speck of an ominous black as dark as the grim reaper's robe that was growing consuming the blue.

And the worse thing was that they were heading toward his way. Aariv curses and tries and fly out of the way as fast as possible.
Aariv just barely got out of the way before a large slab of muscle rushes past him, devouring the human, and causing winds to send the owl flying.
The owl slammed into a tree and felt the bones in his body break as he fell to the ground, groaning in pain. "Uuuuggggrrrhhhh..." Aariv felt [Lesser Regenration] kicking in as it slowly mend his bones, and heal the bruises that covered his body.

It threw back its head and let out a roar that nearly send Aariv flying again. "RRRROOOOAAAARRRRR!" The drake then burrows into the ground, leaving a hole in the ground as it disappears.
After a moment of silence, Aariv just sigh, he really needed to leave this forest, because with all of the stuff happening, he may up dying here.
And so, he took flight and flew through in search of human settlements.

Lucas was nervous.
Considering, the earthquake that had just happen, the roar, and the fact that there was no news from the scouting team from the past weeks, he wouldn't be surprised if a dragon came and burn the village down.
The lord pick up his cup of tea and took a sip from it. A few minutes later, there was a knock at his door. "Come in," Lucas said.
The door opens and Eli walks into Lucas's office and closes the door behind him. The captain had a grim look on his face. "Got any news from the scout team?" Lucas asks, with hope in his voice.
Eli shook his head. "No news and I highly doubt that they're alive, considering the fact that there is most likely an earth drake in that damn forest," Eli said.
Lucas sigh. "Any other news that you need to tell me?" He asks, drumming his fingers at his desk.
"Well...We have both good news and bad news. Which one do you wanna hear first?" Eli said.
"...Give me the bad news first," Lucas replied after a moment of silence.
"Alright, the bad news is that there been news of an evil spirit in the forest, some of our guards have been found dead with a look of horror on their faces, and some of the villagers are getting a bit nervous," Eli said with a stern expression. "The good news is that we were able to finish building our walls, and well....that's the only good news we have."
Lucas stares at Eli with an unreadable expression on his face before letting a groan.
"I hate my job."
