Political assholery

Political assholery

[And she looks so gorgeous while in the middle of ripping apart an enemy from inside out! So gallant while mauling a predator with but simple twists of her jaw and neck! She smells like morning breeze all the time despite dashing through so much gore! Her fur is soooooooo soft!....]

And on and on it went.

Septima was suddenly very happy that she’d been able to figure out that this was how Aki thought when he was in love instead of having all this be about her. Apparently he and this Kira had gone on a field trip after securing the entrance village at the top of the canion with the portal to their realm, apparently killing a remnant boss from when the realm was still going through it’s calamities while at it.

Either way, it’d been a week from when Aki had gone inside the danger zone, and considering he’d kept her posted for a while now, she was pretty sure that ment they’d spent around FOUR DAYS FUCKING!!!

Jealousy aside, she was pretty sure that was unhealthy even with system enhancements in the equation.

At least the impressionable young man was asking council from her, meaning that she would soon not have to deal with this bullshit alone as long as she could keep the clingy hormone bag away from bed with her messages.

She really couldn’t understand how he could go ten months without sleeping with someone to then doing it non-stop for days on end. If only he’d finished things before going on such a honeymoon, she would have happily thrown away the key to their bedroom door and forgotten about him until the next month at least.

But noooooo, leave it to her to wrap it up with the misogynist fucks that could not even understand how hard power worked despite her threatening them several times. She’d crushed the kneecaps, testicles and ribs of most politicians inside this new zone already.

Nothing permanent nowadays, sure, but they were still completely unable to understand that just two individuals could walk over them despite it happening already, several times too, as this had been the second time she had to squash a rebellion by publicly humiliating and torturing the village and town leadership.

She really couldn’t understand how some people could become so conceited by simply becoming politicians. These USA representatives had apparently gone through the trials after the tutorial without any proper difficulty too, seeing as they simply didn’t understand how she could dodge their fancier guns and remain unaffected by anything smaller than a cannon.

In comparison, their magic and blades couldn’t even damage a physical classer from the training camp, nevermind her.

Really, she wished she didn’t have to keep roaming around the place so as to keep everything running, but the idiots just had to do one of the only things she was told to prevent! Even going through paperwork was better than making sure that no one from the new zone entered the nearest danger zone.

Maybe if their Interim President hadn’t told it to her face, if they had stopped trying to resist after seeing the unending surrender notifications appearing in every settlement she stepped into, if they had stopped trying to insult her and the republic after the first man she’d hurt, if they had stopped before she had to bring the second group of politicians into public space for torture….

It was a lot of ‘if’s, but it was honestly tiring to deal with the humans at this point. Really, all orc and farvit tribes surrendered either immediately or after she cleared the zone from any remaining elf, and were now enjoying the benefits of being part of the Insania Republic.

+10 to every stat was nothing to scoff at, and that should be doubly the case for every human present, but despite being a ‘democracy’, the notion seemed hilarious to her really, no human village had yet broken under either the pressure or the benefits she offered.

As a high ranking politician, specifically of the foreign affairs area, she had a special addition to her system which allowed her to conquer system nodes without limit, but that benefit unfortunately did nothing for the fact that she would be destroying the system node instead of conquering it if she killed the city owner.

The whole thing meant that no matter what you did, only overwhelming power would make forcefully taking a node into a feasible idea. Not everything was about violence, so of course the system was like that. Obtaining a town through purchase of nodes, investments into the same nodes or through the usage of the governmental laws and dynastic rules was the actual way to go about this kind of thing.

None of that mattered if the settlement and/or government surrendered to someone, and her boss/self entitled best friend just so happened to have skills that made surrender the only option, revolt and fight being stripped away from the mind and soul.

…………

Aki had wanted to make the whole thing a private affair, Prime to Khan, one Vs five even. There was a problem he had not particularly foreseen however.

Help support creative writers by finding and reading their stories on the original site.

“YOU!” *Kekekeeke* “WANT TO CHALENGE!” *****KEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKEKE***** “ME?!?”

The whole tent burst with the laughter of the several important gnolls who’d previously been unresponsive to the suddenly appeared human, the biggest and meanest looking ones basically crying at the thought. That is, until he released his battle intent for a moment, causing all but the five strongest to stop as he suddenly looked like he understood everything.

“Oh, right. You guys are matriarchal so there’s discrimination against males being weaker and since you haven’t interacted with another species in a long time you forgot about it, makes sense i guess.” Aki muttered to himself while looking at the four males and the three meters tall mass of scars that was their Khan with pity in his eyes.

Only after detecting the way that he was looking at her did the woman stop laughing, her dogs taking a bit to realise the situation but also stopping soon enough. The growling leader was about to snarl something at him, but then those present felt the pressure of a rather invasive image, all but two figures suddenly falling to their arms and knees.

“I wonder, will you remember it if i do this and take me seriously, or will i need to break your soul to obtain your surrender?”

There was no verbal answer to his taunt. Instead, a younger and less scared version of the Khan lunged forward, claws pressing towards her adversary in a swipe as her taut legs prepared to answer his dodge.

He did not dodge.

With a kukri in backhand grip, Aki followed her strike with his own, right at her third rib before pausing completely and seemingly becoming insubstantial, the strike meant to tear his chest away leaving but a small cut instead. The moment the Khan passed through him as if only that claw attack were on the same place as her opponent, he soon materialized behind her, fully armored and teleporting behind his target even as she started to kick towards where his head had been a fraction of a second before.

Even as he punched down at the form close to the ground, the faster of the two put her guard up and prepared to take a hit, only to be met by an unbelievably heavy fist that sent a pulse of blistering heat into her forearm.

Her blood boiled, her forearm fractured, but more surprisingly, her image dispersed, the mental energy dissipating into the air or was absorbed together with the mana involved with the suddenly interrupted skills.

As an axe came down for her leg, she realised what he'd ment. It'd been decades since she seriously thought of expanding the livable area, over a century since she felt fear, all because she had convinced herself ruler of a kingdom like those from before even her own time. All because she'd given up fighting anyone nearly as powerful as herself.

And now she was going to be devoured for all the aether which she'd painstakingly collected through the years.

Burning through her reserves, she established her image again, bringing her legs close to her torso with fear-fueled speed only to use both her healthy and fractured arm to propel her heels into her opponent.

She hadn't noticed before, but he was now armoured from head to toe with a demonic visage that only made her more sure that this was not someone she wanted to mess with.

As her strike connected however, she realised that something was wrong. While the armour was certainly impressive, she could probably break it with a few dozen well aimed strikes. No, the strange part was that part of her strike was redirected towards herself, leaving her completely airborne for a moment as reality seemed confused about what should happen as neither parts of the equation properly experienced the outputted force.

Aki himself was thrown back, but only enough so that the Khan couldn't use him as a springboard.

Finishing the spell to still the air, which he'd been preparing since an immediate fight became unavoidable, using the chance and conjuring fire in the small area of influence of the spell as he gripped his opponent by her right ankle, slamming her down as he increased the bricks hardiness with a thought.

Neither of them really needed to breathe that much, but between someone using seamless armour and someone not using it, his small spell easily burned away the oxygen trying to leave his opponent's chest, slightly increasing the temperature inside her head and airways.

Considering she was being touched by someone capable of draining her resources, there was soon no system fuckery keeping the warrior awake despite her lacking blood pressure, organ failure and burning tissue.

Soon enough, he had a whole room of restrained and passed out politicians to play with.

………

It did not take long to screw up the Khan and force her to sign a contract to be his servant, the woman clearly traumatized due to watching the sheer brutality of his methods as he finally figured out how to make sure eyeballs worked despite being disconnected from the body.

Just in time too, as he was losing his patience to the point that he’d be going to bring her outside so other people could watch their mighty leader crumble and die. The latter would have happened since the people would be unable to respect someone he’d so thoroughly shamed and brutalized, their culture worked like that.

Now she could keep serving and he gained a few million more under his rule, which immediately leveled a few of his skills. He'd explain how things would work and then would put them in contact with his main governmental body, which would get things sorted out and have them pass through him before they are finalised.

No matter how much he hated paperwork, it was necessary after all, especially considering his mental capabilities and how much he could help with the projects he himself wished to see come into reality.

Rather, he hoped that he would not be forced to delve into a dungeon to finish paperwork so he could have time to go on dates with his new girlfriend, who was just so lovely it hurt to leave her side even for this. It was very likely that’d he’d be doing exactly that though, as figuring out how to create more brains through magic was going to take a while still.
