[Congratulations! You have completed the Lord of carnage (1000/1000) path!
+10 to all stats. +100 free points. +2 free points per level. +50% XP. +25% damage. +4% damage per level difference. +15% skill growth. All regeneration multiplied by 1.1x. You have earned the skill Legendary (B) Lv 1.
Legendary (B) Lv 1- You are legendary. You are slightly more likely to have epiphanies. You receive slightly more experience. Your skills level minimally faster. Enlightenment and experience gathering effects increase a minimal amount per skill level. Skill leveling effects increase a negligible amount per skill level.
You have killed an opponent a hundred levels above you. You are legendary. You are one of the few through the whole multiverse who has accomplished such achievement through sheer will, wit and power, and you deserve the spoils of such.]
And so he gained his third Blue skill. He had a feeling that he would likely be losing this one though, one way or another. Something he’d noticed in all his Blue grade skill was that there was always a part that seemed more like flavor text than a proper description, but he honestly just thought it was some effect he did not actually know about.
And ‘You are legendary’ isn’t exactly something specific, so it could turn out to do anything, especially considering the skill could probably fuse with any other of sufficient power, the most likely candidate being his Lord of death (B). With any luck he would at least milk the skill for points before any such shenanigans though.
Even if not, it wasn’t like he hadn’t gained some six hundred points from his last altercations, which was mostly what allowed him to complete the path he’d just completed.
Really, as he used the free points to put Wisdom, Focus and Endurance at 100 and putting the rest into Vitality, which reached 80, he couldn’t help but feel that he had reached an important milestone in his mental stats, the cascate of supporting features increasing with all the related stats entering the hundreds.
There was also the fact that his stats had increased by a fuck ton, so he was feeling like he had just fucked a god until all their divine essence was his.
The reason behind the sudden upgrade was exactly his need for some reassurance actually, his decisions were at the very least questionable after all, so of course there was a need for him to create a better and better foundation to base everything around.
He did not actually hold any doubts about what he was about to declare to the whole ‘village’ of around ten thousand people, he just knew that there would be plenty of dissatisfaction from the human side of things and even a bit from the farvit as well, though the orcs would mostly find it agreeable if a bit confusing. Hells, if his mother were alive for this she would probably desert him or cry herself to sleep because of her views of democracy.
Just like the now dead woman however, he was sure that people would come to see that this was necessary and beneficial in the long run. Giving himself one last deep breath, Aki stepped out of the wooden village keep, up the wooden stage and into a wooden podium.
After getting back and helping finish off the night's wave, he then proceeded to call for a conference with the important people and the village administrators, which then led to him declaring that they would be upgrading the village into a town today, but that he wanted to make an announcement to everybody. Really, he wouldn’t do even that if he could leave it to someone else, but unfortunately, he was the only one with the Skills for it.
Looking around, he could see a couple of hundred of people on the small park in front of the government center, but he also knew that there were several constructs showing his image to several screens with audio apparatuses all around, so the real numbers were quite higher then his meager perception allowed him to actually perceive.
“Citizens of Ashen barrows, our community has grown a lot this last week, and for a while now a system upgrade to our location has been available. Yet I found myself unable to simply allow for those outside our walls to suffer with even worse monsters because of a fleeting rush for benefits. Things are different now though, as we can both help those in other villages through our alliance and a new building that will soon become available, plus receive the maximum benefits for becoming a town, possibly the first on our new planet according to the system. If that were all however, a simple announcement and system notification would have been all that’s necessary, but becoming a town allows it’s founder to add a new feature to the relevant system functionings, one which needs to be properly and personally explained.” As he said the last parts, a notification rang through all the zone.
[Ashen barrows village has become Ashe mortem town. Due to population size, village quality and established leadership over most of the area, it has been appointed to become the main population center. Special permission for the establishment of a government given.

Hail Prime Ocissus Aki, First leader of the Insania Kratocratic Republic.
The Insania Kratocratic Republic has promulgated it's first constitution*, free for any citizen to peruse in either its entirety and/or abridged version*, containing their more immediately relevant laws and rights.
Due to achievements, all citizens will receive +10% XP.
Monsters above level twenty will now begin to spawn.
Due to the invasion having already been defeated, +10% skill growth to all citizens.
Due to being the first town on the planet, the surrounding resources will receive an upgrade.
A monster nest has spawned nearby. At it’s core there is a dungeon which will release even more monsters in a week if it is not cleared.
The next phase of the integration will soon begin.]
Now, one might think that declaring what was effectively a dictatorship during an apocalypse would be rather easy, but with both his record of saving people and the one of ruthlessly killing both men and monsters, reactions were rather split as many still hoped for a more normal life.
Returning to a democratic form of government at this point in time would be lethal however, and he made sure to express that. They simply didn’t have the personnel’ to direct their future steps through a world without a dominating society, and convincing brazilians that even if the President himself had been in town it’d have been better to kick his arse instead of giving him any power was quite easy considering their useless leader.
Then again, the promise that this ‘Government of power’ would last at most two years before a new constitution was instead accorded between a council of real politicians was at least a bit reassuring as Aki had the skills, the insane situation and logic backing his words.
Just as important however, was the fact that anyone bothering to read the abridged version of the constitution would be able to ascertain that everyone had access to ‘human’ rights, referred to as basic rights, and the only ridiculous things they could even see would be during a state of imminent demise, which would have most citizens recruited to help preserve life and even relocate to other places.
Really, it was much easier than being a politician before the system both because of the skills and because everyone around had passed the tutorial, which made everyone pretty jaded to say the least. Showing them an imminent terror didn’t make people immediately panic anymore, if they had a compromise that could save them from direct death that is, and this adaptation could be stretched by a lot as long as people had enough fear and will to live, which humans actually had in spades.
Some would rather break than bend, but he’d already killed most of those as they were in fact criminals, and having zero nay-sayers in his government would only insite more fear from anyone that even remembered the military coup, so there were still plenty of those around.
Even as he left the podium for Robert, who’d be explaining the reason behind several decisions and painting a new view for the future, Aki couldn’t help but feel like he should actually go to sleep and just pretend that this had not even happened.
“Nicely done Aki. People are reacting a lot better than expected because of your image and skills.” Smiled the tall farvit woman as her seductive voice filled the surroundings with mirth, many of the managers and administrators unable to stop their eyes from darting to her form fitting carmin blouse and the amount of thigh shown by her maroon skirt, which had a small gap right above the knee.
“Set, we both know that you could very well open two buttons in that shirt, go up there, declare yourself queen and there’d be around ten people that would even question it.” Responded the even taller young man as he rolled his eyes, to which he got a raspberry and a smile.
“I don’t need anyone else under my table. Being a ‘minister of external relations’ is already enough work for me.” She responded while making air quotes at the title which’d been forced onto her after she’d shown basic proficiency over paperwork.
“Sure, and you definitely don’t have him call you ‘my queen’ or ‘mistress’.” He teased, fishing for information more than anything.
Poligamous/poliamorous relationships were mostly theory work for Aki, but if one of his two friends was throwing herself into one, then he might as well accept it for what it was. Now if only she’d tell him anything about it instead of becoming embarrassed of actually entering a serious relationship….
“Prince.” She jabbed with a smile.
“Matron.” He spoke with much the same eternal smile and half closed eyes she had.
“Rabbit.”
“...Ok, ant eater doesn’t sound nearly as good as that, so you win, but that’s only because i can’t call you a gobbler.” Admitting defeat, he looked away. He wasn’t a complete introvert, but amorously fighting the woman was hard both because of the little time they had to develop history and how little she’d even be offended by anything outside of her strange list of fears.
“You’d have to accompany me for a bit if you did.” She shrugged, but seeing as Aki didn’t actually look like he was going to refute her instantly, Septima was slightly surprised. "You know, I'm sure we could…"
"Could you teach me how to please men?" He asked in a serious tone and with gleaming eyes.
She snickered, getting poked on the sides repeatedly by a pouting Aki as she devolved into almost hysterical laughter. Later on however, two blindfolded men were quickly brought to the now three storey tall town keep, leaving rather confused but also quite energised.
