Wait what!?

After recovering from the initial shock of what Solarie just said, Yume knew she had to hear more before she could agree to anything. Before she could voice her doubts, Lunarette's soothing voice interjected, bringing a sense of calm amidst the uncertainty. Solarie's proxy received a reprimanding slap on the back, a reminder to tread carefully. Yume chuckled to herself, as she could imagine Solarie's red eyes staring daggers at Lunarette after that.

"Indeed, dear Yume, We have come up with a plan to grant you the journey that you oh so desire." Lunarette began, her words tinged with a mixture of hope and caution, "But convincing your mother is key. Without her consent, our plans remain but distant dreams." Yume could not really pay attention to what she was saying however, for her mind raced with a whirlwind of emotions—excitement, nervousness, curiosity, and joy all vying for her attention. Though she attempted to speak, her words caught in her throat, overwhelmed by the magnitude of the revelation. Both Solarie and Lunarette let out small chuckles, causing Yume even more embarrassment as her cheeks went bright red.

Solarie's confident tone cut through the uncertainty, reminding Yume of the guardians' steadfast resolve. "And don't you worry. Nobody knows your mother better than the two of us. After all, we fought together back in-" Solarie was interrupted by yet another slap on the back, as Lunarette hastily cut in and continued, her voice a soothing balm amidst the storm of uncertainty. Lunarette was always terrifying when she got mad, so Solarie was probably receiving the most horrifying of glares after that. "My lady, i will inform you about our connection at a later date when you are older. Anyway, about the plans. you see, we-" their conversation was abruptly interrupted as the dream realm began to crumble around them.

As the dream avatars of Solarie and Lunarette faded into the ether, Yume's heart sank with the realization that their time together was fleeting. "We what? Don't go! You have to tell me more!" she protested, in a tone of voice that sounded equally as confused as it sounded annoyed. The celestial sisters reassured her with laughter, promising answers soon. “All in due time, dear Yum-yum. Look forward to the lessons two days from now~” Lunarette said, as their proxies disappeared completely, and the clouds Yume were standing on disappeared in the same light.

Back in the waking world, Yume's mind buzzed with excitement, her hands trembling with anticipation. The prospect of newfound freedom danced tantalizingly before her, igniting a fire within her radiant soul. She dressed quickly, her heart alight with the possibility of liberation.

However, amidst the exhilaration, a pang of guilt tugged at her conscience. The thought of defying her mother's authority weighed heavily on her, conflicting with her deep-seated admiration for Queen Stella. She knew that deep down, underneath her regal and strict exterior, Stella had no ill will. Yume was her only family after all, and the bloodline of the moon queen had to continue at all costs. She dreaded seeing the expression on her mothers face when Sol and Luna would present their plans. But on the other hand, this was only going to be a small journey. Perhaps a little trip to the nearby galaxy, and straight back home. And if Sol and Luna manage to convince her, would it not be ok?

Pushing aside her doubts, Yume adorned herself with her favorite radiant stars and cosmic rings, symbols of her connection to Sola and Luna. With a determined stride, she ventured out of her chamber, only to be greeted by a celestial messenger, Saniya.

Curiosity piqued, Yume wondered about the news that awaited her mother's ears in the throne room. She had spoken with Saniya before, and knew she worked under Tenecturna, the goddess of the realm of Nahari. But for now, her thoughts drifted to the day ahead, filled with anticipation and uncertainty alike. As she pondered her plans, a single question lingered in her mind—how would she spend this rare day of freedom? After all, there was to be no lessons today. She considered reading Arcaturian scrolls as she gazed at the frozen stars in the indoor garden, when she heard Queen Stella call for her.

"Child, my chambers, now."

oh no.
