Zodiac Angel had been there when Lock Tannis and Boris Endman fought.
Zodiac flew. He zipped above Hawaii's trees. He hadn't been in Hawaii when he met a Killian named Abigail Ax. His dearest friend was a sixteen-year-old girl, but she had been eleven when they saw each other for the first time.
Like Zodiac, Abigail, Ruth Cross, and Devin Hall were Destroyers, and they knew what needed to be done.
Zodiac lowered his flying speed. He hovered in the air in a standing position, then focused on the meadow below him. A huge man stood in it. Zodiac hadn't forgotten that huge man had taken a wonderful child away from him.
Zodiac clenched his fists. "Crammer Cole."
Zodiac aimed his palms before unleashing a stream of blue lasers from each one. He moved his palms while keeping the streams going, and severed Crammer's muscular arms. Zodiac stopped firing. Crammer collapsed onto the grass blades, shouting. His severed arms lay near him like Freeman swords that had fallen.

Zodiac began his descent, then landed near Crammer.
"You took my arms off!" Crammer yelled. He grimaced. "My arms. My arms."
"I blasted your arms off because I don't want you to grab the teleportation stone that you might have in your pocket," Zodiac said. "We aren't near any strife, Crammer. I can fire lasers from my palms, and I can destroy you with one of them. I suggest that you do what I want you to do. Do you remember me?"
"Yes. You're Zodiac Angel, and you wanted to kidnap my friend."
Zodiac nodded. "I did. And if you agree to take me to her, I will heal you, and then you will lead me to that wonderful child. You will lead me to Zoey All."
"She's gone," Crammer said. "She's not dead, but I'm not going to take you to her. And I'm good at finding people. I'm a Bloodhound. You're not going to get any help from me, though."
"If you don't agree to take me to Zoey, I will destroy you."
Crammer cried. "That's what you're going to have to do, then."
Zodiac Angel knew how to destroy.
He aimed his palm at Crammer's chest, then opened fire. Soon Crammer stopped breathing. He had refused to lead Zodiac to Zoey, and Zodiac didn't see a different Bloodhound he could use. Glaring, he rubbed his neck.
Crammer lay in the meadow, lifeless. He wouldn't be alive when Soy gained a king or a queen.
