I threw my newly forged wooden spear at the water where I spotted the fish. I waited for the dust to settle. No sign of the fish getting impaled by my spear, it probably swam away.
"Why are you using spears to hunt a fish when you can just buy advanced tools at Sam?" Mia asked.
"I'm just trying out how it feels to be stranded in an island, you know, making tools, catching fishes, and other activities," I replied.
"Oh, I see."
I approached the spear and picked it up. Fourth day on the island and fourth day of complete boredom. I have earned 7,580 credits. I am saving up for a three-story house, kinda modern looking. Next to buy is a big electric generator which costs 560 credits for light sources and others. Then a gaming phone to cure my boredom which costs 1,870 credits. It's a good thing I asked Sam to add an option of buying games back to my planet. I had to connect my phone to Sam so that Sam will transfer the files to my phone or to my PC. I'll buy the house first before the others if I want to get super cozy. It even has an already built-in TV, sofa, bed, decorated rooms and a lot more. I've been sleeping in the tent for the past few nights now.
I walked around the shore finding some fish. I saw one a few feet away. I approached it carefully and stopped when the fish was in my range. I stood still and raised my spear. My aim was never that good, mostly because my hand shakes when I try to focus on something.
Splash
I stabbed at it with all my strength and speed. I raised my spear to see if I caught it. The fish was wiggling on the spear. I actually did it! I smiled out of proudness, doing something I hadn't done before made me proud.
"You're acting a bit weird today," Mia said.
"Just nothing, I'm just bored," I replied.
"Why don't you gather sticks, rocks, or pick up coconuts? They are more easy tasks and you can buy a house already," Mia insisted.
"Just be patient okay? Patience is always the answer and there's always tomorrow," I replied.
I continued catching fish. I already caught six fishes in twenty minutes which means I am a noob at this. I turned in the fish to Sam and gained 100 credits in total. After that, I went to a shade, lay down and stared at the sky wishing for it to be night again to see the beautiful outer space like the planets, milky way comets and lots more.
The lower the light pollution, the more beautiful the night sky is. After a few minutes, I could feel my boredom and stood up to continue working for credits. I am 784 credits away from buying the house and also leveled up which unlocks some higher quests. The first quest reward is 1,000 credits. It says I will fight a foam dummy with a health of 200.
"Remember to buy weapons before a fight," Mia reminded me.
I looked at the wooden spear in my hand.
"Nah, I'll try this thing out," I replied.
Hmmm, how about I'll add modifications on it? I went back to the camp and took my sharp big knife and the tape. I put the knife on the not-so-pointy side of the spear side by side and started taping it very tightly. I made sure that it is very tight and will not fall during the fight. I tested the modded spear in the air doing some flashy moves I made.
I examine the masterpiece I just made… oh shit, I forget to sharpen the pointy side. Good thing I have two knives. I picked up my other knife and sharpened the stick. Now that's a masterpiece.

"There's literally cheap weapons on the shop like the katana costing around 58 or the axe costing 77 or the machete costing 65, and you will use that?" Mia asked.
"C'mon, I'm just trying to improve my crafting skills okay? I know it's very very basic to make this thing but just gonna my crafting skills," I replied.
I went back to Sam. I took a deep breath and clicked on the start quest button. A hologram hexagon formed around me like a box. Above are numbers which read 12:00. At the center, there is something glowing blue like a humanoid figure. It revealed the foam dummy with a fighting stance with a long green bar on top, probably it's health bar. It started to walk towards me. I readied my spear.
"Reminder, going out of the box shows that you're giving up so there will be a 5 seconds countdown if you really want to give up or accidentally went out the fighting zone. If the timer hits 0, of course the fight will stop," Mia said.
I ran towards the dummy and slashed it with the tied knife.

A number popped up at the top of the dummy and the green health bar decreased showing a number 188/200 in the middle.
"Uhh, do you think you can survive this fight with this kind of damage?" Mia asked.
I slashed the dummy on the face.

"It's called adapting. Some players do this like challenging themselves and to make the fight long and to memorize their opponent's pattern. Doing this to a higher level can be satisfying or raging if you got defeated. It's also called rushing because you are rushing to beat a higher level to gain a lot of exp in mid-game or starting game," I replied while continuing to damage the enemy.
The dummy's health is at 129/200 now. I slashed the dummy's stomach with the knife, turned the spear around and stabbed it on the neck with the spear's pointy edge.

The dummy struggles to hit me because I always dash back and go below it and stab it. It's like a robot struggling to move. I continued slashing it, stabbing it.
58/200
Hell yeah, 58 health to go. I punched the dummy's head.

Suddenly, something's tugging my weapon away from me. I looked down. The dummy is holding my spear. I tried to pull the spear away from the dummy's grasp. Somehow the dummy was very strong. The dummy kicked me on the stomach. I let go because of the shock and strong force and flew away.
My right arm met with the knife's sharp edge, making a long straight wound. I land on the ground. I stood and watch in horror at my long wound while blood is coming out.
"Is everything okay? I just saw a blood flying away on my sight," Mia asked.
I looked at my tent where my backup knife is and not that much far from the battle zone. I ran towards my tent. A number revealed in front of me showing a number five. The environment is color red because of the hexagonal hologram turning red. I snatched the knife and went back to the battle zone.
I ran towards the dummy and jumped as I saw it swinging it at me to dodge it. I landed to the ground and stabbed it's face doing 18 damage. The dummy raised it's spear. I took out the knife from it's face and ran a few feet away from it. It started running towards me and started swinging at me like a professional and did some moves I don't before.
A small slice formed on my face, a small slice formed on my left arm, a medium-sized slice formed on my leg. I am not a very good dodger and I'm relying on my instincts and adrenaline rush.
"Wow, I didn't know that this thing is a very good learner. In the previous people who lived here killed it fast with their newly bought weapon so I have no time to learn about this opponent," Mia said.
I just watch the dummy in amazement with the spear. It really copied my moves and made new moves with it. I ducked below dodging a swing and crouched behind it. I pushed the dummy behind to the ground with my shoulder and stabbed it's neck behind.
32
A colored number popped up.
"You hit it's weak spot. If the number is colored red, it's a weak spot. If orange is a critical hit," Mia said.
The dummy below turned bright blue and vanished.

"Quest completed. Here is your reward," Sam from the numpad said.
I ran desperately towards Sam and bought alcohol, band aids, and a bandage as fast as I could. I waited for the drone to drop the crates and rushed towards the products. I went to the nearest shade and sat down. I poured the alcohol around at the bandage. I tried to roll the bandage around the big wound on my right arm but it was hard and needed help. The arm was covered with blood and a drop of alcohol from the bandage dropped to the wound and it hurt so much.
"Let me help! You should have asked help or told me that you are bleeding. I saw some blood again and wondered why are you buying bandages and saw a lot of blood on your forearm," Mia rushingly said.
She took the bandage from my hand and started wrapping it around the wound. I fought with the unbearable pain and couldn't even move my body.
"There, good. You should go to sleep if you want your body to focus on healing that wound and regain some blood again," Mia said.
"Thank you," I said to Mia.
I stood up and went to Sam. I can now afford the house. I went to my cart list and bought the house. After clicking the buy button, it showed me the whole map of the island.
"Before buying the house fully, show me where to build it," Sam popped up at the screen and asked.
I looked around me. I'll just build it near to Sam on its right, left if it's on my point of view. I swiped around the screen. The house followed around where I swiped. I swiped it near to Sam. The house turned red.
"Can't build here. It is too near the battle zone," Sam said.
Makes sense. I don't want my house to get dominated. I drag the house a little to the left until it turns blue. I tap the Place button.
"Are you sure you want to build it here?" Sam asked.
I tap the check button. A blue light flashed from my left. I looked to the left. The house is getting built plank by plank, cement by cement, and paint by paint. They are floating around finishing the house. I went to the entrance of my house. There's a garage built to the right. I could expand the island in the future and buy a car to drive around and practice driving.
I opened the door and was met by the beautiful scenery of the inside. Very luxurious. There are sofas, vases, some artwork paints and lots more. The big kitchen is on the left and the living room is on the right. This is my first time to set foot on this kind of luxury. I wonder how it feels to be this kind of rich back at my planet.
I went to the living room and laid down on the sofa. There's a big TV at the opposite side of the sofa. The living room is very big. I cuddled on the sofa and closed my eyes to sleep, but the pain on my arm made it hard to go to sleep. I just fought it until I drifted to sleep.
