The sun beat down on my back as I walked through the island's lush greenery. The air was thick with the scent of salt and wildflowers, a strange combination that made my nose twitch. My first quest: collect five sticks. Easy enough, right?

I found my first stick near the shore, a weathered piece of driftwood. It felt rough in my hand, like a piece of history. I continued my search, collecting more sticks from the forest floor, each one unique in its shape and size. Some were straight and sturdy, others twisted and gnarled.

Finally, I found my fifth stick, a smooth, slender branch that seemed perfect for carving. A sense of accomplishment washed over me. I had completed my first quest, a small victory in this strange new world.

I approached Sam, but something was bothering me.

"Mia, how do I let Sam know that I have completed my task?" I asked Mia.

"Just put it near Sam, she will scan around her and vanish the thing. If you want to make things easier, buy the Sam watch from the shop. What the Sam watch does makes your task easier, like for example, your task is to pick up 5 rocks. If you found 1 rock and carry it, your Sam watch automatically scans it and banishes it from your hand and makes it 1 out of 5. It may cost like 3,000 credits, but at least not 10,000." Mia replied.

I put the woods near Sam, I clicked on the task finished button, suddenly, some kind of rectangular box came out around Sam. It started scanning starting above. I went out of the scanning area, the scanner scanned above to below, it touched the woods, the woods started to glow white then pop, it banished.

"Task completed, reward received" I could hear Sam from the numpad.

I went to the pad and looked at my total credits, it shows 50 rather than 0. I wonder what to buy, chips, yeah chips but where do I trash the wrapper, there's no trash can around, I'll just burn it with fire. I went to the shop and add-to-cart a chips worth 7 credits and an expensive looking lighter worth 25 credits. It looked like I saw this in an advertisement which cost more like a 1,000 cash, I'd rather buy a budget or a not budget strong graphics card for my PC. I went to the add-to-cart area and press the buy button.

"Thank you for buying, please wait for you order" Sam said.

"What do you mean by that? It won't just appear?" I asked.

I heard a sound behind me, I looked at the direction to the ocean, the sound came from up, there's something tiny going down, it looked like a drone carrying a crate and it's tied to the drone with a rope. The drone lowered down until the crate touched sand. The drone cuts its rope and goes up flying towards the ocean and disappears over yonder, the box opens itself revealing my order. What is a drone doing here?

I went to the box and took out my orders, the chips and the lighter. I went to pick up some woods and sticks and placed it on the spot I want on the sand area where I want to take a picnic. I remember that there are no forest trees here so I can use its dried leaves to start a fire very easily but the smoke will be very smelly and has a thick smoke.

I went back to Sam and bought papers, I gathered the woods from the crates of my recent order and my previous order. I went back to my spot and fixed my bonfire. I took some pieces of paper to use it as my starting fire, I open the lid of my lighter. The fire came out like a blowtorch, damn, very fancy eh? Never experienced one like this before and it feels superior and amazing but still doesn't feel like a 1,000 cash lighter in my world.

I lit the paper on fire and put it below the sticks and woods, I took more pieces of paper and put it around the bonfire to make the fire stronger. The last time I made fires was last year ago, every night or school dismissal I go to the nearest mountain and make a bonfire there and get a strong signal to play online games.

Some of my friends sometimes and always go there so that we can play MOBA games. They would sometimes bring alcohol beverages to have fun. I opened my bag of chips and ate while watching the fire grow, I missed looking at fires. There's really really really really really really no way I'm going to stay here for 2 years, what planet is this anyway?, and what about my friends? My grades my school? My games on my PC? They be looking for me for 2 earth weeks and just appear out of nowhere.

Sam might probably sell a custom built PC's, did I remember Mia saying that I can buy humans like real people? The number 1 I would buy is a 15 out of 10 hot mommy chick, he he he he he..... Oh hell naw I ain't no rapist or that kind of human. I just ate my chips silently thinking about the future on what will happen to me.

"May I ask your name?" Mia from the necklace asked.

"Julian" I replied.

"Okay, Julian, I am really sorry that this happen to you and the recent human here picked you. There are 7 recent humans lived here, some of them gave up and some of them died and went back to planet earth alive. I thought adding Sam here will make the humans life here be easier but somehow it's the same. You will be the 8th, I'm begging you to please help me destroy this curse by living in this island, 2 years may be long but please achieve it. Reminder that every 1 month, there will be a boss fight so be ready and prepare some armor weapon, the bosses will be smaller to bigger and sometimes go back to small, so will you help me destroy this curse? Promise?"

"I'll try" I replied.

"Promise" she asked again.

"I said I'll try" I replied.

Damn bitch doesn't know when to get quiet, I continued eating my chips. She said that giving up or dying will return me back to my planet but I felt like I want to stay on this island because of the easy earning of money and cheap products but staying here just for 15 wishes? Kinda lot but not worth it.

I finished my chips and went back to working quests, I did quests until sum went down. I bought a tent and a sleeping bag to keep me warm and comfortable when I sleep for the night. I lit my bonfire and prepared my food I bought a few minutes ago. I bought a whole bag of fried chicken, bacon, eggs and rice which I can't finish it some of alone, but I'll save for some tomorrow. Wait, do Mia even eat even if she's a god?

"Mia, there's food here if you like some" I said to Mia from the necklace.

I saw a white line coming out of the necklace and formed a human, Mia appeared.

"This looks tasty, you sure you want to share it with me?" Mia asked.

I nodded, she took a plate and spoon while I get some rice, egg, bacon and a piece of chicken drumstick. Mia took bacon, egg and a fried chicken, no rice? I that's your food of taste then I won't argue. We both are silently, this is awkward, we both finished our food.

"Let me take that plate from you" Mia said to me.

She took my plate and the dishwashing soap and went to the seashore and cleaned the plate. She's trying her best to make me stay in this island.....maybe? Hell nah, I prefer to stay with someone rather than with her, she ain't my type ya know.

Fucking bitch I am dreaming, she placed the plates near the pot of rice and closed the foods lid properly and yawned.

"I'm kinda sleepy, thank you for the food Julian and good night" Mia said to me.

She went back to the necklace and I was met by silence. I look at the beautiful night sky, full of stars, galaxy and auroras.

"Yawn"

I'm kinda sleepy too, I went inside my tent and to my sleeping bag, I closed my eyes and went to sleep.
