So the last chapter was in someone else's Pov and this new character is the Main character

We had fought long and hard to regain control of our planet but someone amount our ranks was a rat, they gave the Noctara information that helped them brutally crush us, not that we could really fight back much the most we could do was use our weak weapons and hope that they got taken down, that was until something blessed me it didn want the Noctara to win, and for awhile we saw a hope of victory but once they unleashed Darkness upon us we knew we couldn't win, we all died

but instead of death taking me something else did, it didn't task me with anything or want anything not really, what it did ask was that I try to stop the Noctara since they had set their eyes upon another planet to try to take over, I would have tried to do that anyway, and I was reincarnated in a strange place it had bright lights and overall seemed more advanced.

5 Years Later

English is such a weird language, and as it stood I don't think I have any powers not really anyway, I was walking through the hall, I believe what they call Meta is actually Mana, but it behaves so differently then it did in my world that I don't know if it is.

Age 14

I do have powers and thankfully I am familiar with them since I was a master of electricity in my last life, but unlike my last life I need to store it in my body to use, which was inconvenient for me.

Age 16

i sat at the table as i had done for the last 15 years of this life, my parents who were normally very talkative weren't saying much all they were doing was moving food around on their plates, when Jameson, my dad technically, cleared his throat "So we will be sending you to a private school"

i just blinked a few times at him "For what?"

He set his fork down "To learn how to use your powers"

i shrugged "Ok" i didn't care much its not like they could really teach me anything, i guess it could be a good place to start making connections

He looked slightly annoyed "Arent you going to ask what private school" he clearly wanted to put a high emphasis on it

I was getting slightly annoyed "What school" i said it in a tone i don't think he liked

"We are sending you to Excalibur Academy" he seemed slightly angry but i understood why, i was acting like an entitled brat.

honestly, it shocked me that they could afford to send me to Excalibur academy in Solara "Really" i had to act like an excited kid.

he nodded clearly proud.

shortly after that i went and looked up some history on Excalibur Academy and Solara, Solara was a new state created in the United States of America, by the first generation of People who could use Meta, and its the newest state, shortly after that war Excalibur Academy was created by the US in order to make sure that something like this never happened again, it is also one of the few places you don't need a Hero License to use your powers, granted there are also like fucking 53 different licenses for using powers.

i got off of my Computer and went downstairs to talk to my dad, he was watching a show "So when do I leave"

He looked up from his show "In about 1 week, be ready by then"

I nodded and headed upstairs to start packing some of my stuff.

I didn't have much compared to Aiden, he wasn't nearly as smart as me, but I guess when you arent reincarnated you might be dumber, then again I don't belive he really tries

and to top that off he doesn't seem to have any ability either.

i had zoned out while thinking, and was only brought back to reality by someone knocking at my door, I opened the door and Aiden was standing there

"Congradulation" he looked happy for me

I nodded and smiled "Thanks"

he left after that and I sat down at my desk and turned on my computer to look through the news, multiple vilians being stoped by Heros, but there was one news article that caught my attention because it was close to me, it was about a vilian who could manipulate metal, he apparently brought down an entire building that was about a 30 minute drive from me.

and yet I'm stuck with this electricity power that needs me to store Electrcity.

after reading through the entire article I was bored and went to my bed.
