The once empty and tidy place suddenly began to fill with zombies.
More than that, this building was intentionally vandalized by these creatures.
It was all just supposed to look like a zombie apocalypse.
They just created a scenery.
* Trash on the floor
* Bloodstains
* Corpses
And apparently past fights were simply created.
Once I got near them, they started being 'just' zombies.
----------------------------------------
I avoided every fight,
because I know that something greater is going on here.
I need to keep running. Maybe its a video game after all..
Maybe fighting would gain me some experience
However, death would only lead to a loss of experience.
Perhaps also to the loss of the game.
In any case, running away was the best move.
The only known way to leave a metropolis such as this
would be to cover myself with the guts of a walking dead.
But that will imply that I would have to kill one.
I don't see a moral dilemma here.
I just don't think I'm capable of physically or psychologically beating a corpse,
let alone smearing myself with it.
----------------------------------------
My heart is racing and my pulse is skyrocketing.
As I finally managed to reach the hotel exit,
a considerable amount of zombies has gathered behind me.
Thank God the zombies pretend to be slow and stupid
which clearly isn't the case.
* Burning cars
* Roadkill bodies
I'm fairly certain this wasn't there a couple hours ago.
I don't know what all this fuss is about
Why do the zombies have to hide their identity?
I probably shouldn't worry about that right now.
I should probably worry more about not getting eaten today.
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
----------------------------------------
Lady Luck is smiling on me today.
There's an open sewer.
A way out, right in front of the hotel?
Well, it might be a trap as well.
It's most certainly a trap.
Unfortunately I do not have too much time to think about it.
So I began to descend the ladder.
A horror filled me as a zombie flew right past me
and used its brain to mark the bottom of the sewer.
[That was a close call.]

But not only that, in general it was an amazing achievement.
I never thought I would get this far
I'm finally back to safety
