The chase between Ichino and Takeru soon reaches the school hallway. Due to his many years of experience and expertise in the field Ichino, even in this unfamiliar area, manages to outdo the young teenager’s movements while boldly pointing a gun straight at his face.
Takeru, backed in a corner, was trapped.
“Now, explain yourself why are running from us” – Ichino

Soon, the conversation was abruptly overwhelmed by a number of students including a couple from the student council and the reawakened detective.

A figure makes themselves apparent from the mass.

After a few seconds, the kids disperse leaving Ichino and Denki to themselves and a serious atmosphere starts to linger.
“Did you contact The Eagles”
“Yeah. They’ve successfully managed to keep track of the beast. I’m sure they’ll catch it soon” – Denki
“Good, good. It seems our job may be over here.” – Ichino
“…hmmm” – Denki
“Is something of the matter Denki?” – Ichino
“I don't know… I just have this feeling that we should wait until the culprit is caught” – Denki
“PFFT chill out Denki, it’s gonna be fiiine. Y’know what The Eagles are capable of” – Ichino
“I... I guess you’re right, sir” – Denki
“Alrighty then, you wanna go grab a drink with me?” – Ichino
“No way, I still vividly remember what happened last time” – Denki
“HAHAHAHAHA. Fine, your loss… I’ll catch ya later boy” – Ichino
Concurrently…
“Dispatch do you read. This is eagle 1, we have eyes on the target. I repeat we have eyes on the target, over.” – Eagle 1
“Copy that eagle 1. Proceed to capture phase.” – Dispatch
“On it” – Eagle 1
“Eagles! Proceed to capture phase!” – Eagle 1
The Gopher slowly starts to lose momentum. Even for something as agile as itself, it was hard to keep moving for several hours straight.
“I- I can’t let myself get caught” – Gopher, tired
Even in its deteriorating state, the creature manages to dodge most of the ceaseless attacks from its opposition. Suddenly, while trying to locate the enemies’ position, it crashes hard into a concrete wall of a large building. It all seemed over for him…
Sudden Explosion

“I don’t know it came out of nowhere” – Eagle 3

“Quick! Manoeuvre around, see if anything else moves” - Eagle 1
The light legged creature, still pinned to the wall, forcibly pushes himself out and bounces deeper into the thick, dusty smoke of the explosion. Once on the ground, he swiftly opens a manhole and dives in.
“Oh god, I’m safe! … Still, what in the hell was that explosion? It really seemed like it came out of nowhere. What was really going on up there…” – Gopher

GOPHERS
This species is generally small and quick-paced. They revolve around the 140s to 160s in height and are just a bit less intelligent compared to the average humans. They often steal to live as it is harder for them to acquire jobs. Although, to them, a favor is to be repaid.
Even with human-like bodies, these creatures share some traits to their rodent counterpart including whiskers and a tail.
EAGLES
This team is the main air force in the city, although only one flies a plane. The rest are birdlike creatures from different species including the likes of Falcons, Vultures and well, eagles. They operate closely with the investigation team from the agency.
Note Eagle 1 is an eagle variant, Eagle 2 is a falcon, Eagle 3 is a vulture and Eagle 4 flies a plane.
SEIICHI
He is a 16-year-old honour student who has been upholding law in school for as long as he can remember. He averages around 190 cm, one of the tallest of his folks at school and weighs 83 kg. He has purple hair unknown if it is dyed or something occurred in the past that changed its properties. He resides close to Takeru’s place along with his father and brother.
DENKI
Denki is a straight man who works alongside his captain, Ichino. He is about 187 cm and weighs 75 kg (he trains heavy everyday so he is pack of muscles). His hair is pale brown.
ICHINO
A middle aged man from the early 2000s and a very intuitive detective, he presents himself as the captain of the investigation team of the agency in the city. He still does field work to this day despite his rank and responsibilities. He is about 175 cm and seems sturdily built. Some say his level of stamina is exceptionally high. He lives near the centre of the city along with his wife and teenage daughter.
