Johnny's POV
——The weekend goes by fairly well, but Johnny can't stop thinking about Daniel——
Johnny wakes up, but for some reason he isn't in his room. He looks to the side to see Daniel a few feet away from him.
Daniel, what are you doing? Johnny asks. But Daniel ignores him. Hmm, that's weird.
“Daniel” Johnny yells, but Daniel still ignores him.
“Leave me alone, Johnny.” Daniel fumes and Johnny's heart feels like it's been ripped out of his chest.
“What the fuck is happening to me?” Johnny asks as he puts his hands on his chest and gets blood all over them.
As he lays down on the ground, he can see Daniel standing over him.
“I never want to see you again Johnny.” Daniel snarls, and Johnny knows by the way he says his name that he wants nothing to do with him.
“Daniel!?” Johnny frets before falling into a dark abyss.
——Johnny jolts awake——
“What the fuck was that?” Johnny thinks. Did he just have a nightmare about Daniel?
Okay, now there is definitely something wrong with him.
——Johnny gets out of bed, goes to take a shower, and goes downstairs to eat his breakfast, fried bologna with coffee, while watching TV (yeah it might be a weird combination, but Johnny loves it). Once he finishes, he heads to his car and drives to school——
It sucks that he and the other teachers have to go to school on a Monday, while the students are at home. But he guesses it's good that he gets paid a bit more than he normally gets paid for it.
As Johnny walks into the school, he sees Principal Andrews walk up to him.
“Um, hi?” Johnny mutters.
“Good morning Johnny” Principal Andrews greets.
“You do remember that you have to show Ms. Steiner around the school today?” Principal Andrews questions.
Oh, shit Johnny totally forgot. It's not his fault though; he couldn't stop thinking about Daniel during the weekend; he couldn't do anything.
“Me? No, definitely not” Johnny informs.
“Right” Principal Andrews says while she rolls her eyes.
“Anyways, she's in the staff room, so don't keep her waiting for too long” Principal Andrews adds.
“Yeah, yeah, ok” Johnny responds.
——Johnny walks into the staff room and is greeted by a woman——
“Hi, you must be Mr. Lawrence; it's a pleasure to meet you” Ms. Steiner stated.
“Hello, it's nice to meet you too” Johnny answers.
“You can call me Johnny” Johnny adds.
“Ah, well, you can call me Amanda then” Amanda clarifies.
They exit the staff room and go into a classroom.
“You'll have all the classrooms you're meant to be in on your timetable, but these rooms are generally used for Business and English lessons.” Johnny starts.
——Johnny shows Amanda around the school, and as the bell rings to signify that it's lunchtime, they go back into the staff room——
“The other teachers should be here, so I'll introduce you to them” Johnny tells Amanda.
“Alright!” grins Amanda.
As they enter the staff room, the other teachers look up except for Daniel.
“Hey guys, this is Amanda; she's a new teacher” Johnny tells everyone.

The group murmurs a hello back.
“Hi, Amanda, it's a pleasure to meet you” Daniel responds.
“Yeah, it'll be good to have another girl here, I can't handle all these guys by myself” Ali laughs.
“Hello everyone” Amanda chirps.
Johnny gestures for her to follow him and she sits down at a table with the guys.
“Introduce yourselves; I've gotta do something real quick” Johnny tells the guys.
“And be nice” Johnny adds.
“We will” Dutch laughs as Johnny makes his way to Daniel.
“Hey Daniel, about Friday I just wanted to say—” Johnny starts.
“No Johnny I don't care what you have to say; just please leave me alone.” Daniel huffs as he stands up and walks out of the staff room.
“Johnny, is Daniel okay?” Bobby asks Johnny.
“I don't know” Johnny sighs.
——The rest of the day goes by alright, but Johnny thinks of ways to apologise to Daniel, so he follows him to the cemetery again. (Yeah, it might not be a good idea, but Johnny is willing to go to extreme lengths to apologise to Daniel. Why? He doesn't know yet.)——
Johnny waits in his car until he sees Daniel walk into the cemetery. He turns off his phone and gets out of his car. He decides that there isn't any point sneaking around and walks right up to Daniel.
“Hi Daniel” Johnny mutters.
“What are you doing here, Johnny? I told you to leave me alone” Daniel grumbles.
“I know, I know, but please just give me a minute to explain” Johnny murmurs.
Daniel thinks before saying “Fine, a minute”.
Johnny doesn't really know what to say, so he speaks from his heart.
“Look, what I did on Friday was not cool. I shouldn't have been spying on you; what you do in your spare time is none of my business.” Johnny apologises. “So to make it up to you, how ‘bout we go to my favourite place, Golf n’ Stuff? I promise it will be fun” Johnny beams.
“I don't know Johnny” Daniel replies.
“I promise it will be fun” Johnny begs.
“Y’know what? Sure, why not?” Daniel muses.
“Great, do you wanna go in my car or will you follow?” Johnny asks.
“I'll follow” Daniel answers.
——They go to Golf n' Stuff and play mini golf, air hockey and basketball. During this, Bobby calls Johnny several times, but Johnny declines them all (he wouldn't mind, right?)——
Daniel and Johnny are sitting down on a bench, sweating because they were running around everywhere, trying to get onto as many rides as they can (they’re little kids, I swear)
“I told you, it would be fun” Johnny chirps.
“Yeah, yeah, it was nice” Daniel chortles.
“Ooh, let's take some pictures” Daniel beams, while dragging Johnny to a little photo booth.
It was quite small so Daniel was kinda sitting on Johnny's lap, and Johnny had to do everything in his power to stop himself from blushing.
“O…Oh, sorry” Daniel splutters, face as red as a cherry.
“What? Oh, it's ok” Johnny says awkwardly, looking down at the floor, because it's become the most interesting thing in here.
The camera flashes, and they realise that they are in a photo booth, so for the next few photos, they just smile (with faces as red as chillies).
Once they leave Golf n' Stuff, it's quite awkward because they don't know what to say.
“I should probably get going” Daniel tells Johnny while rubbing his neck.
“Um, yeah, or we can go to the diner nearby?” Johnny hints, jerking his thumb to the diner a few blocks away from them.
Daniel doesn't say anything at first, so Johnny adds quickly “only if you want to, of course”
“Yeah, sure, I'd like that” Daniel grins.
——They go to a diner nearby and order their food——
“Looks like you’re really enjoying the food” Daniel says, laughing as Johnny shows chips into his mouth.
“Yeah, it's good” Johnny says, lips smacking, and Daniel thinks that he might throw up from seeing the mushed-up chips in Johnny's mouth.
“Ew, stop talking with your mouth full; that's disgusting” Daniel says, fake gagging.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever” Johnny comments, rolling his eyes.
“Hi! Are you guys ready to pay for the check?” The waitress asks.
Daniel doesn't even have time to get his wallet, as Johnny has already cleaned his hands on his shirt (gross) and is handing the waitress a $10 bill.
When the waitress leaves, Daniel speaks up, “You didn't have to do that. I could've paid for my own meal.”
“I know you could've, but I wanted to” Johnny acknowledges.
Johnny sees Daniel's face turn red and can't help but think if he is the cause of Daniel's blushing. No, he couldn't be; that's just absurd.
“Let's get out of here” Johnny hums.
When they leave, Daniel goes to the side of the diner and sits on the curb. Johnny reluctantly follows, and Daniel gestures for him to sit down with him.
“I hate to admit it, but I've had a wonderful time with you tonight, Johnny” Daniel coos looking at Johnny.
“Me too, Daniel” Johnny bubbles.
“Johnny, can I ask you something?” Daniel questions.
“Yeah?” Johnny replies.
“Was this a date?” Daniel asks, blushing.
“W…what? No, why would you think this was a date?” Johnny spluttered.
“Well, let's see, you took me out to your favourite place, and then after that, you took me out for dinner, which you didn't have to do, and even paid for the check, which I could’ve done myself” Daniel states.
“Well, what can I say? I'm a gentleman” Johnny responds.
Johnny can feel Daniel's eyes on him, so he moves his head to the side so their eyes meet. Suddenly, Daniel's eyes move to Johnny's lips; Daniel leans in, and Johnny can't help himself from leaning in too.
“Johnny…” Daniel breathes.
And finally, their lips meet in a slow, soft kiss. It quickly becomes more passionate, though, as Daniel opens his mouth to give Johnny's tongue access to his mouth and wraps his arms around Johnny's neck, pulling him in even closer.
One minute, Johnny's loving it, and the next, he's pushing Daniel off of him.
“What the hell?” Daniel yells.
What the hell? Indeed, Johnny thought he can't be out here kissing Daniel when he wants to get with Ali. He shouldn't be here, he shouldn't like it, and he definitely shouldn't have kissed Daniel back.
“This was a mistake. Daniel, I don't like you. I like Ali” Johnny frets.
“What? Johnny, no, you don't—” Daniel grumbles.
“Of course I do; I will never like you; just leave me alone, Larusso” Johnny interjects.
“You can keep pretending you don't, but you know it's true” is the last thing Johnny hears Daniel say before he sprints to his car and speeds out of the diner.
