"The Prophecy For Belly"

[Narrator’s Perspective]

*Tap Tap, TapTapTap, Tap*

Belly and Cassandra have been messaging each other all night. This is the night before Belly’s Entrance Exams for Arpie High, a prestigious Knight Academy. He hasn’t been able to sleep for two days straight. He’s worried of letting her down. He really wants to make Cassandra proud. For so many months, she’s trained him physically until he couldn’t feel his body, and on top of that, she trained him in the art of the sword.

She’s done so much for him, and all he has to show for it is a ball of light that does nothing but follow him around. As Belly falls deeper and deeper into this downward spiral of stress, he receives a peculiar text message from Cassandra.

- Hey, Belly, is it okay if I come and sleep over at your place tonight? I’m not that far away. -

He sits up in bed, and aloud, he thinks to himself, “Is-Is she serious? No, she-she can’t be. This has to be a joke, right?”

And just like that, Belly’s weak little heart drops to his stomach, trying his best to grasp the situation before him. And before he has the chance to reply with a paragraph made of pure question marks, he receives another text from Cassandra.

This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.

- Hey, is it okay if I use your shower, too? -

“No way,” He says as a bit of blood escapes from his nose, “No way, Jose!!! Cassandra in my… my shower??”

He starts imagining how hot Cassandra’s body would look wet in the shower, and how water drips down her bouncy breasts and butt, as she offers her hand for Belly to join her.

Belly doesn’t know how to reply. And he begins to finally think logically about this.

This… this is all a prank. It has to be. The odds of a girl like Cassandra showing up to my house is absolutely ze-.

He then receives another text message from Cassandra.

“Open up, I’m in front of your house.”

Belly slams open his front door, out of breath, to find Cassandra standing there with a suitcase in her hands, and a sad, pondering expression on her face.

“Casandra? You-You’re actually here? At my house????”

She looks at Belly with teary eyes, and with a broken voice, Cassandra confesses, “Belly, I’m really sorry about this but… I need you to…”

And like a dumbass, Belly asks, “Need me to… carry your heavy suitcase??”

Cassandra responds, “No stupid! I need you to… to… toooo....” She clenches her hands, and forces herself to say what she wants to say with a passionate look in her eye, “I need you to help me kick my father’s stupid ass!!”

Belly gets a blank expression on his face.

To kick a what?.........

He’s unable to comprehend the atmosphere of this ridiculous situation.

“Ummm… I beg your pardon, Cassandra?”

Tonight will definitely be a night to remember.
