As of right now, this Novel is being reconstructed to be more narratively and characteristically sound. If you truly wish to read this novel, I suggest bookmarking it to the "Read Later" tab, and waiting for the all-clear.

I will mostly edit chapters into more cohesive and narratively interesting pieces, after which I will reupload them in bulk.

Once the rewrite-edit is done, a chapter will be posted to signify its completion. Thank you for your patience.

Due to my dissatisfaction with the Novel's currently established lore, logic, systems, and dialogue; I will be rewriting most of it. A lot of filler will be removed, a lot of new things will be added to existing chapters, and many unconventional changes will occur.

The chapters will be changed according to what has been written down. This means a full dialogue change (though my writing style will probably not change, but we'll see about that), and better editing on character interaction, environmental details, logic, and systems.

As of right now, these are the major changes that are scheduled to happen. I'd say these are spoilers, but they really aren't. For first time viewers they might sound confusing, though:

A full dialogue change. Most of the cringy humour and weird pacing will be ironed out, unless it was genuinely fitting for the situation.

A full change to the System and its Skills; The main character will also be heavily nerfed to accomodate the more survival-ish elements.

You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.

Fixes to the world's logic. Things like the all-omnipotent Elemental Crystals and Elemental Stones will be given better lore and flaws, to accomodate the use of Oil, Water, and Gas as substitutes. Daemons and Nerauns will also be in seperate catagories, instead of being a whole species.

Fixes to gun- and sword combat. Most of the glaring issues regarding the weaponry in the novel will be fixed, like not having safety mechanisms, or the existence of Elemental Bullets basically making standard ballistic ammunition obsolete.

Better character interaction. Most of the characters will be retooled to give them more unique personalities, even if they themselves are only temporary characters, are scheduled to die in a later chapter, or will disappear for half the novel regardless. This is to make character progression more appealing and less forced.

Grammatical fixes. Most dots, exclamation marks, question marks, and semicolons will be fixed. Typo's and grammatical errors will also be ironed out.

Height Measurements and such will also be fixed. My idea of the world was an epic Steampunk-esque Fantasy Setting with huge cities, and I see no reason for me to not write that; so the large cities will stay. Logical Continuity be damned!

And several more changes that have been written down in notes for me to add.

Once again; once all of the chapters have been fixed, I will delete this warning and post another chapter to address the changes, and to notify anybody still reading that it has been fixed to the best of my abilities.

As of right now, a lot of word choices, dialogue, systems, and logic of the world that has been written is straight up cringeworthy, and might even be worse than a hack-job. I will fix all of this, even if it causes my novel to go into Hiatus again due to the long wait time.

If you are a follower of the novel since its first chapter, I am very sorry for potentially disappointing your expectations of my novel. But, frankly. this had to be fixed.
