First of all, I'd like to thank those of you that have reached out about the continuation of this story. This started as a passion project back in my software developer days, and upon finding out the costs of commission assets for video games, turned from a video game script into a light novel story draft.

According to my drive notes, it has been nearly three years since I've last written. While my writing has not progressed these last few years, my personal life and professional career stories certainly have. I have adopted two cats, about to be engaged, about to buy my first house, and have been promoted to a VP title at my line of work and lead a 10+ person team. However, none of the above is an excuse for leaving a story unfinished, and without updates, or even a note of a hiatus for the few readers out there.

Yora Chronicles is, has, and will always be near and dear to me. While I believe that many stories mean to draw from dreams of another world, the ones most impactful always draw from and reveal one's personal feelings. It is with a heavy heart that I will be announcing I will be putting this novel in hiatus for an unforeseeable amount of time until I have more time in my life again, perhaps when my stint at my current company comes to an end.

I'd like to thank all readers so far, for making this a journey to be remembered.
