Meanwhile, Dai and Hyunckel already met with the forces of the Dark Lord head on, while Leona and Maam were guarding Kuro. Pop was on one side preparing his large scale spell as well.

Numerous attacks were catapulted towards the monsters comprising of Minotaurs, headless horsemen, giant bats, weretigers and werewolves. Around 200 of such monsters surrounded the group, making the fight a 1:30 ratio.

A weretiger sneakily tried to attack Kuro during his recovery, but was met with a fierce attack from Maam.

“Eat my attack, monster!”

The weretiger was hit spot on the face. Due to the huge strength of Maam, the weretiger’s face directly exploded, making it an insta-kill.

Leona was not lagging on her side as well. She casted numerous spells in order to halt the advance of the monsters.

“Mera!”

Pop also finished channeling his hug spell.

“Three phase Merazoma!”

Three huge fireballs hovered on Pop’s head and he directed these to the middle of the pack of monsters, causing chaos to ensue. Around 30 monsters instantly lost their lives, while a dozen more were critically wounded by the blast.

Kuro, on the back, was still meditating as he is trying to bring back his peak state.

Dai, on the other hand, was like a killing machine as he used his dagger to cut down numerous monsters bigger than himself. Hyunckel was doing better, as he has already killed more than a dozen monsters by repeatedly stabbing his Amudo Spear.

After a dozen breaths more, Kuro abruptly opened his eyes as he looked in the far end of the monster horde.

A large minotaur, the size of a huge boulder, was making his way towards Kuro and the others. Despite his size, ripping muscles, and huge Bloody Axe, the steps of the minotaur were nimble and did not cause the surrounding areas to shake.

With keen eyesight, Kuro was able to see that the boots that the minotaur was wearing was quite special. Each boot had a pair of wings extending on both sides.

Kuro unleashed a barrage of Darkness infused arrows that caught a dozen or more monsters on the side of the boss level minotaur by surprise.

The boss minotaur, however, was unaffected, with the arrows bouncing off its ripped muscles. With a shout, the Minotaur turned bloody red, and it further grew in size from the initial 3 meters to 4 meters.

“Let’s see if you can take this attack of mine.”

At the speed of light, Kuro was able to channel his Light cosmos into his arms. He suddenly moved and got behind the minotaur in a split second. He held the minotaur tightly by the waist, which made the Minotaur groan in shock.

The minotaur was as light as a feather as it was held by Kuro. Its head slammed towards the ground and was buried deep within. A lot of blood and gore splattered everywhere, drenching Kuro’s body whole.

“Hmph!”

“Not worthy of me equipping my cloth.”

The fake Hermes Boots equipped by the Minotaur also crumbled to dust.

Notifications then rang in Kuro’s mind.

Kuro sensed that something was wrong as the minotaur was weak. This prompted him to examine his surroundings more. He channelled his cosmos towards his eyes as he stared at the monster horde that had thinned out. He quickly ingested 2 CP potions and made his way towards Dai.

In a flash, Kuro donned the YYSC as he made his way to Dai’s side at the speed of light. He then threw out a punch at the weretiger who was pouncing on Dai’s right side.

“So you are the real boss of this monster horde!”

“Pegasus! Syu Sei Ken!”

The weretiger’s fists were covered in a bloody aura. Its fighting instincts made it bloodthirsty as its right fist met with Kuro’s.

Kuro was thrown off balance due to the fact that the weretiger twisted its right fist during the collision. The weretiger let out a loud roar as it pounced on Kuro, its new found target.

“Tsk.”

“Truly strong. As expected of a boss level monster.”

“Take this!”

“Pegasus! Ryu Sei Ken!”

Faced with a barrage of fists, the weretiger opted to block using its forearms. Due to its thick muscles and bloody aura surrounding its body, it was not critically hurt while withstanding Kuro’s attack. It was only forced back for a dozen meters before being able to stabilize itself.

On another part of the battlefield, Pop, Leona and Maam were able to finish off most of the monsters. Only a single werewolf was left but it was releasing a terrifying bloodthirsty aura.

“Oh My Goodness! Another Boss Level monster!”

“Pop and Leona, get back. I’ll tank it first.”

“Leona, please prepare a healing spell for me.”

“Pop, I need that compressed Merazoma spell that you are working on.”

On another size of the battle field, Dai and Hyunckel were now facing a headless horseman wielding a large scythe.

“Dai, this one is tough. We need to time our attacks.”

“You aim for the head of its horse, while I’ll aim for its heart.”

Dai nodded at Hyunckel, while slowly gathering his powers. Both of his Dragon crests glowed with a blinding golden light. Hyunckel, on the other hand, glowed scarlet red as they prepared to engaged the headless horseman.

Three boss level monster appeared at the same time in order to deal with a Saint and a group of young Heroes.
