The rain was coming down in sheets as the storm continued to rage outside, battering against the building that read Psyche Ward. Inside there was screaming and yelling, as dust fell from the roof and the air tremored as if it was scared to be noticed. A lone man wearing a trench coat walked through a hall filled with cages. If one were to look into a cell then one would see unspeakable terrors from within; some of these beasts would cower in fear, while others would charge at the bars that confined them only to stop at the last second as if they were scared to touch the bars. Then there was the third type. They would just sit there and stare at you with bloodshot eyes, making your head feel hazy and pressurized. Those are the worst, able to slightly manifest imagination into the real world and warp reality.
Turning the corner the man went through a secure tri-locked door and came to an area full of cells like the last, however, this one was full of humans. as the door shut behind him, two guards stepped to either side of him silently, and walked a few feet behind him. The man in the white lab coat stopped at a cell with a man that had dusty white hair and appeared to be clean-shaven. this man did not have any facial hair but had the strangest eyes. At any moment they seemed to shift from icy, electric blue to fiery glowing blood orange.

"Mathew Daemon, age 19, the ability is superior intellect and the innate ability since birth to seemingly get whatever he wanted." the man read off a pad before looking up at the boy. Their eyes met for a moment and the man was sent to his knees with a spike of pain as the bars of the cage flashed and zapped the man inside. It was too late though and the man had already been affected by the psychological powers of the boy.
Standing back to his feet the man gave Mathew a grimace and then signaled to the guard. They pulled out black metal tubes, pointed them, and shot them at him. The doctor said one last thing before everything went black.
"It will be my pleasure to be your doctor today, may your surgery be a success, you little peace of shit".
