Right know, jalak already inside of the so called training center. It actually resemble that of a forest, with a lot of hidding spot that could be used by the monster or even us a trainee taker.

Feeling the nostalgic environment, he begin taking a stance unconciously due to habit but...

The training will begin in a short while. Please prepare your necessary tool in advance.

"...minus one" what the heck with the notice dude? You cannot expect that a notice will appear before you are attacked right?- thought him with a little irritation.

Just when he feel a bit dissapointed, the first monster that he should fight finally coming at him...from the front that is.

"...are they designing this place seriously?"

What is the point with all of this environment to begin with? A simple background?

No, it is just a normal first level so maybe the intensity might be reduced for safety purpose- reassure him as such to himself. If he know that this kind of level actually already enchanced, he would deduce even more point' for sure. Though it wouldn't affect them much.

Heightened his contentration, he try to predict the monster movement and attack pattern of the monster which resemble a wolf as big as normal dog ( or maybe it is a dog? ).

Unfortunately, the wolf just run straight and make a jump on him without any difficult pattern. It move quite fast, almost 3 times compared with normal dog attack on top of the really dangerous looking fang and claw but if it not hit the target, then it Will be useless.

Dodging effortlessly, waiting for the next movement, dodging again and wait again. Probably still thinking the monster might change it's attack pattern, he still don't dare to undestimate this seemingly easy attack of it.

Jalak really experience too much for the past 7 days of hell, and he met a lot of monster as such esspecially the one who actually way smarter than him. They actually reading his movement just like he did to them, counter attack, even bait him by acting injured, scared, or idiotic.

The idiot and naive Jalak are no more, thought him which actually making he doubt himself even more.

"...it looks like it is not faked?" That is based of what his experiences told him.

"No, don't be a fool who understimate your opponent!" But yet try again to convince himself to not let his own guard down. That devilish cycle actually happening for 30 minutes before Jalak actually give up from denying it further.

"They are just too weak" cry him with any actual tears of regret. There it goes the wasted 30 minutes of mine!

"You damn... little... mother..." Very much wanting to curse toward the monster who manage to fool him yet again, he stop himself from doing it cause of how tired he is mentally.

"Better take note. Believe in your judgement, be flexible and not binded with past experiences" mutter him in order to make himself more stronger even just a little.

Looking at the wolf who actually become tired from moving around too much, he walk and bend on his knee to check that monster body state.

The wolf want to run away but cannot get away from jalak grip and the killing intent that coming from the seemingly plain guy.

"It is actually only 3/4 of the power of normal beast in the wild"

"It is no wonder that I cannot feel any threat from it the first time I saw it." Said jalak with a little tear that appear at the corner of his eyes out of shame.

The wolf in his grip look somewhat pitiful actually, especially with knife wound on it's abdomen. They might be the victim of the incident that happen to the whole world just like us. He don't know why they become aggresive nor do how this place actually work.

Where is all the monster that this place have come from? What is Going to happen to them once they are injured? If some die, where would this place find the new one?

When Jalak do a double check toward requirement for leveling up the difficulties, and realise that you need to kill this wolf in order to get a step further it make him feel weird inside.

"Every level will have 5 state of difficulties. Each one you need to kill all of them and you can decide whether to move on or not. What about the monster?" Checking it all over again, he decide to just ask the receptionist to confirm it.

Killing the wolf with his barehand ignoring the congratulation notice in front of him, Jalak decide to not continue further and get out from here.

Outside of Training Ground training center in front of receptiont desk.

 "I am very sorry!"

"...?"

What is going on- thought Jalak because such spectactle what welcome him right after he go out.

"Because I forgot to tell you that the monster in this place buffed every 7 days. This is the first buff ever so it is unforgivable for me to forget it."

Twitch the corner of his lips after hearing her apology.

'If it is unforgivable, then don't apologize.'

"Wait...How much is it buffed? May I know the standard monster in this tower in normal case?" That weak ass monster actually stronger than normal? It might delude any newbie you know?

-Waah, I can fight them on equal ground! Let's test it in the wild!!- That kind of death flag might appear you know?

"Do you forgive me?"

'No use looking at me with that teary eyes girl, it won't change the fact that mistake of yours'

*Fiuh sigh the receptionist with a sigh of relief.

Who said that I will forgive you? It is not like I will give you a punishment myself but the fact that you give a wrong or incomplete information might lead someone to death in the future is the truth so it is fixed that I will complain to your boss later.- decide Jalak in his mind.

In this crowded place, normal people won't bother with other conversation let alone with the official worker cause it is kind of rude. And yet here we have a guy next to you actually eavesdropping your conversation with other.

"Hahaha, I am sorry for the rudeness. Let me introduce my self. My name is Riki, a news agent so this kind of unique question caught my ears. I am a revived one so you don't need to get awkward with me. Nice to meet you?" A question? And you know it is rude huh, guess you are not to the point of helpless anymore. Wait, Revived?

"What? You don't know? Revived one refer to us earthling and the real inhabitant of this city are called Native people based on their testament."

This guy really a quick one. He manage to realise I am not familiar with the term and went right to explain it to me before I even thinking said it out yet- Thought Jalak amazed with that unexpected fact coming not from a fighter but a news agent instead.

'Native people as a real inhabitant of this city? I never heard city named Reizen, so not sure whether this place actually really exist on earth or not'

Jalak really wanted to ask whether they are programmed or a real human but decide not to considering he cannot tell the difference either way. 

"Are my question really weird?" Ask him again toward the miss receptionist after thanking Riki for the information.

"It is not weird actually. It is just that the truth kind of..."

She manage to recover and begin explaining it in the most simpled way possible.

"They revived. To fight again." Said the girl with a little tint of sadness. Jalak didn't realise it because reading someone facial expression are not his specialty but the other one is.

This fact confuse Jalak even more. Why they keep revived just to die again? Under what circumtances that they are treated this way? Is it possible for them to get stronger in the future if they aren't going to die? 

"...Hey, you said this place is have a lot of job training menu right? Do you have beast taming one?"

"Beast taming are on the section F over there" Point here toward a certain place with a little doubt.

"Thank you" said Jalak while he go there alone leving them behind.

Looking at Jalak who go to the place, having a little conversation a little before going to the training ground again with his hand still on his chin al the time as if thinking about something which couldn't be missed by both Riki and Reception girl who still looking at him weirdly.

"Is he going to be alright? Fighting in thought like that are dangerous isn't it?" Ask Riki toward the girl that too confused by Jalak behaviour. But they both decide to just let him be remembering he won't die anyway. 

'Just let it as my experience, and for him too' Clutch her little hand with an ever more sadness expression which she cover by turning back.

'I need to pay my debt up as soon as possible. No more mistake, Rita!' Do job properly or not might decide her future, but her clutzness really are inborn so it might be difficult for her to pay it back any time soon.

On the other hand inside of training ground, Jalak still waiting for his might be enemy. A few second of waiting, the bush in front of him bustling before the wolf at the size of normal dog appear before his eyes.

 The wolf jump in front of him with the usual notice while it taking a fighting stance with it's claws and fangs ready. But right after it saw who is the one whose going to be it's enemy...

"Trembling? Why? hmmm..." the wolf actually trembled and hesitating to attack or not. He have some doubt regarding the wolf behaviour that's why he make a sudden quick move leaving a blur behind and appear right in front of it.

Even living at the Inn for one day plus breakfst took around 1000 coin so this price actually not that cheap. But when he look at the paper inside, he understand just why this book have that much price.

"The information actually flown inside my head just like that. No wonder, the magical capabilities is what make this book a bit pricey"

Looking at the experimental object that is the wolf, he make a wicked grin that teriffied it so much it actually run away. Of course it cannot outrun Jalak so it get caught and only helplessly pretend to be dead on his hand. Following the guide he receive from the book that feel like his own experience, Jalak feel some warm current flowing from his abdomen toward his hand and then envelope the wolf head.

The wolf tremble from his act and then began to struggle fericiously. Jalak who use the skill, actually feel some kind of resistance making his brow frown in thought but before long that resistance dissapear and the current stop flowing out anymore.

"It's dead" Said Jalak dumfoundedly from the stuborness the wolf actually display. A congratulation notice appear in front of him asking whether he want to proceed to the next step or not. Of course Jalak refuse before he success with the taming skill.

Within a few second, his enemy appear again that is a Cat like one this time. He have no interest with this monster but still use it either way in order to get used to this newly aquired skill of his but then kill it right away when almost succeed, refuse to proceed, fight, and repeat again until he find the wolf from his first fight.

"This wolf is kind of different"

Said Jalak in wonder when he first touch it. A sense of familiarty but rejection that it is making him feel uncomfortable with the contradiction pique his interest. Catching the 'run away right after witnessing it's opponent' wolf, Jalak use the taming skill to it again.

And it choose to die still by consuming his own mind to resist.

"It is really..." This prideful sentience remind him of a certain monster he fight on his 7 days trial. 

'In the end, we fight to dead and it still refuse to lay down it's intention to figth' shakes his head as if wanting to erase the unpleasant memories that suddenly pop out on his mind.

When the third time they met again, Jalak didn't outright use skill on the wolf. He catch and direct it toward Jalak face and said something with a stern tone.

"Take away that useless pride of yours. You realise that by doing this you cannot get stronger right?"

Of course the wolf wouldn't understand a thing out of it's low intelligence or else the taming skill won't work in the first place. Starting the skill again but slowly, Jalak didn't force it out this time but continously flowing the warm current that probably his mana toward the wolf's head. Once he feel the resistance get even a little stronger, he will stop until it toned down then continuing again.

When the wolf become tired and Jalak worried it will die due to mental exhaustion, He will let it rest a few minute before taunting, beating, or using a bait such as food and healing potion that he get from taming shop based on it's shopkeeper recommendation before using the skill again.

It work wonder as expected of someone who run in this related business field. The wolf begin to stop resisting little by little until it decided to give up after a whole 2 hours rally. 

"This kid is seriously fucked up. Now I realise that this little wolf actually even more stubborn than that guy." No wonder for Jalak to complain like that considering that process took quite a bit of his taming material.

Looking at the now disciplined rather than obedient wolf in front of him, he took a deep breath and start his skill yet again. Now, The resistance actually only came out a little before dissappear right after, letting Jalak's mana branding it's own mind relatively easily. The process took around 5 minutes which quite a long of time considering he compared it with a certain pocket beast Anime in the past.

"Now then, let's see what happen"

Said Jalak proudly of his own success after overcoming a difficult hurdle. If he know that the quickest method actually just beat the monster half to dead so it cannot resist anymore and forcefully brand it ignoring the mosnter ressistance, he would yet again cry a tears of grief. It seems like 7 days are not enough at all to change someone bad habit of making a rash action.
