It was Friday, but it wasn't a regular Friday. This Friday was accompanied by the greatest weather one could ask for in San Francisco. Clear skies, minimal clouds, and a nice seventy nine degrees fahrenheit. With several hours until the evening's broadcast of the Wish battles, Sean figured he had some time to surf by fort point.
Getting up from his afternoon nap, Sean walked into the restroom to relieve himself but not before stopping by the sink to wash in face. The mirror reflected a young man around the age of twentytwo with dirty blond hair and expressive, dark brown eyes. He had a lithe body, well toned by years of activities in the ocean. All in all, Sean was a handsome young man except for a series of scars that some would say ruined his good looks. The most ghastly of the scars ran across his chest and back, where an accident happened close to a decade ago. Sean had been with his older brother in the bahamas, snorkeling.
It had been a day much like this current Friday, clear skies, lovely temperature, comfortable waters, but a run in with a bull shark ruined it. Sean's brother was dragged under and Sean did his best to help him but trying to confront a bullshark isn't the smartest thing someone can do, let alone a twelve year old child. Sean had mangled his fingers as he shoved them in the shark's gills in an attempt to startle it and make it let go. The only effect it had was to make the shark thrash about wildly, still clutching Sean's brother in its jaws. By the time Jaden realized what was happening, his little brother, Sean, had already been slammed against some coral repeatedly and had stopped moving. Jaden only knew the now turbid waters weren't filled with only his blood anymore and he renewed his struggle to free himself from the literal jaws of the death.
By the time Jaden made it to shore with his little brother, Sean, the two of them were much worse for wear and Jaden was no longer in one peice. His leg below his left knee was gone but he didn't pay any attention to it, he only tried to revive his little brother. When their parents showed up, their dad, Westley, took over CPR while their mother, Gloria, called for an ambulance and immediately applied pressure to Jaden's wound.
After the shark attack, their parents decided that even though Jaden had lead them to the deeper waters, there wasn't much they could do to punish their children, almost having lost both. Fortunately, it was the 25th century and mankind had long since been able to regrow limbs, though scarring was still an issue. The main problem was the trauma the incident incurred on the young Sean. Doctors weren't quite sure if the change in his outgoing personality was due to the horrific event itself or him having gone almost six minutes without oxygen. Scans didn't give conclusive evidence either, doctors couldn't find dead tissue in Sean's brain, only areas of the brain which were no longer active.
Almost all areas of the brain that had anything to do with emotion had gone dormant, most of Sean's brain activity had been diverted to his frontal lobe, making him hyper literal and an incredibly logical thinker. Put the boy in water though, and that twelve year old Sean was back. At twenty, Sean met a girl who moved him for the first time. She had the same effect on him as water - his parents almost cried when they saw him smiling while talking on the phone with someone. They had even heard him tell whoever he was talking to some jokes! It wasn't until a few weeks after the phone conversation that Gloria found out Sean had been talking to a girl he met at his community college, her name was Catherine.

As Sean was slipping on his spring suit, he had no idea the competition ended early. He could hear the television downstairs playing as Jaden watched. What Sean had thought Jaden was watching was a recap from the previous day's footage but it was actually the end of the tournament and the wish granting.
"Sean!," Jaden called out as Sean exited his bathroom, he had only gotten the bottom half of the spring suit on.
"One sec, the pully for the zipper on this thing broke, I'll be right there!" Sean called back.
"Dude, hurry up! Your girlfriend is on TV! She's about to make her wish!"
"What?" Sean rushed downstairs to the 75" LED flat screen TV his brother was watching, 'Jaden really likes his vintage TV's' Sean thought to himself as he sat down next to his brother on the couch.
"Your wish has been granted," Yggdrasil's voice came through the TV and reverberated around the room, the Camera crew had a shot of Catherine's lovely little back, and a not so subtle shot of her butt. She really was a good looking girl, standing only 5'4", Catherine had a lovely figure, classic hourglass that seemed to flow well with her toned muscles and athletic lifestyle. Catherine was a natural red-head but she always died her hair a dark brown and the contrast was amazing with her light green eyes.
"Jaden, what did she wish for?" Sean asked.
"You really want to know?" Jaden looked over and his mouth simply hung open.
"What?" Sean said in a voice that wasn't his own. "Eh? Ahem." He tried clearing his throat to no avail before looking up at his shorter brother. "Since when did you get so tall?" Sean raised an eyebrow.
"Sean.." Jaden said with a shaky voice. "Do you feel okay?"
"Yeah?" Sean answered, confused. "I feel fi-" Sean looked down to see his athletic body had been replaced by two large and exposed mounds on his chest. "The fuck!"
Sean jumped up and ran to the downstairs restroom, but he had issues adjusting to the abrupt changes in his body and crashed headlong into the door. Hurriedly opening the door and slamming on the light switch Sean looked at himself in the mirror. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" Sean collapsed on the ground as his hand slipped in between his legs trying to locate his lifelong companion. "Gone..."
Rushing back upstairs, Sean found his vintage iPhone SE and called his girlfriend. The phone rang twice before it connected.
"Catherine!" Sean shouted in a hysteric voice before Catherine could greet him. "What have you done?!"
"eh? Sean?" Catherine didn't quite recognize the voice, it sounded different and not masculine at all.
"GIVE IT BACK!" Sean's voice screamed through the phone, the hysteria amplifying.
"Give what back?"
"GIVE ME MY MANHOOD BACK! WHY DID YOU MAKE ME A GIRL?"
Listening to his younger brother freaking out upstairs, Jaden laughed to himself, slightly shaken by Sean's sudden change in gender. Always one to find the silver lining, Jaden actually made a joke about it to himself. "Dad always said a man's balls are in his wife's purse...heh"
